Piper made a good point, about these shadow pokemon. Five on one would be enough to overpower all but the strongest of opponents. But then... why didn't any of the other guardians swarm them? There were other groups fighting too, but there had been more than enough gengar, or sableye, to work together, taking one group down at a time... Piper suggested Darkrai underestimated them, but Ai wasn't so sure anymore. "Mmm..." She narrowed her eyes, but it wasn't like there was anything to do but move forward.

Dune nodded his head at Chickpea. "Yeah, it was n-nince!" He wouldn't mind smelling that again. It helped him relax a bit, and made it easier to focus on fighting. And it smelled really really good. But, it was kind of weird, it wasn't a smell that he wanted to eat. Kind of like flowers.
Hopefully there would be a chance to rest at the top of the stairs, so Dune could move on the ground with his wings down. For now, Dune flapped a ways up the stairs, then waited for the others to catch up. He got pretty far ahead, but he didn't mind waiting for everyone.

The fifth flight of stairs leads you into a new area. Ahead of you is a twisty mountain path, and you are already so high up. To those of you familiar with Sinnoh, you might notice it's similarities to the path leading up to Spear Pillar. Some paths are narrow, so make sure to watch your step. The sky above is stuck at dusk, yet you can still see just fine. What lies at the peak of this mountain? Surely it has to be Darkrai.
