Rumi was born in Yukigakure to a Konoha shinobi and a Kiri kunoichi who met during a spying mission in Kumogakure. When her parents went back to their respective villages they packed up and left heading for the one place they knew they'd be safe. The then just forming Yukigakure. They arrived with a large number of refugees and blended in with the crowd setting up a life for themselves. It wasn't long until Rumi was born and they did the only thing they could think of. They enrolled her into the Academy so attention wasn't drawn to them. She took after her father's side excelling in the Academy and quickly passing the tests to become a genin. He parents fearing discovery pulled her out and kept a low profile for a few years. Now at fifteen her parents feel it's time for her to leave the nest and start her own life. They disappeared one night leaving her some money and a note saying; "It's your life. Live it how you like." So Rumi has chosen to become the one thing she's always wanted to be. A real Shinobi.

Being the third Daedalus child, Niro was never really noticed or worried about. He would simply stay quiet and read a scroll or other things like that. He knew that it would be the best for him, because he did not want to get in any fights with his brothers, having so much tension on them. Still not being noticed overly, Niro remains silent and prefers to speak up only when needed, replying to most things with a 'Yes' or a 'No' and putting as least words as possible into longer questions. Knowing that he needed to pass in his older brother's footsteps after his whore of a mother died, Niro strived to become just as good as them. Not carrying many hard feelings, and letting most things pass straight over his head, Niro tries to be a role model for his younger brother who is still trying to find himself.

Dante was the youngest of the four brothers of the Daedalus Family. He was also one of the weaker one, seeing as he had such a low self-esteem problems ever since he was three. His mom would sometimes hit him when he failed to please the whore, and he often acted like such a cry-baby. He merely shrugged at his mother's funeral, seeing that he would rather eat decomposing vermin than mourn for her. Dante aslo cried a lot when he was an Academy Student because of his classmates making fun of his height. He is a really nice person when he's not crying over something. Treat him with respect, and he'll even take a bullet for ya one day. However, he can't really stop clinging on to the people close to him, such as Niro, Don, and others.

Unlike most of her clan, Kunamae favored foxes, while not directly canine, they are an off branch. As a young girl she was always caught going off into the woods, when followed, she her scent always disappeared around a system of linked caves, her scent masked by that of foxes, and other cave dwellers. One day, after slipping off into the woods, she heard a loud screech, and sprinted off in the direction. She ended up right in front of the cave system, and saw her favorite fox, laying on the ground, a large gash in her side. She gasped covering her mouth, turning away. Hearing whimpering, and a branch snap overhead, she saw a tiny white kit falling, the sides spotted with blood. Looking around frantically, she went and ran up a low rock, meeting the tiny kit in mid-air, she wrapped her arms around it and curled up, rooling onto her back as she hit the ground to protect the poor thing. After that she spent weeks, nursing it back to health. She became very close with the small animal, so her father decided that the kit, Spirit, was to be her partner. The have been inseperable ever since.
