Anyone interested in how to do "human-sized" Tyranid Warriors?
They reminds of the Reeely old ones, those in plastic with boneswords.
Or maybe you already know.

Ok, Human-sized Tyranid Warriors coming up:

Parts needed:
Lizardmen Body & leg(s)
Lizardmen Arms, 1 with "Sword"
Gaunt Head

* Glue together the Body & Leg(s) & put it on a Base (Trimming is neccesary if you want to put it on 25mm slottas).
* Trim and/or use Green Stuff to fit the Gaunt Head to the Body, then glue.
* Trim the Lizardman "Sword" until it looks like a slightly katana-like Sword(DO Not Remove it from the arm!), or like the old Boneswords.
This requires a LOT of precise and careful trimming. DO NOT OVERDO IT!!!
* Make something Fleshborer-like or simply organic-looking pistol or gun from Greenstuff, for fitting it to the Other Lizardman Hand/Arm.
* Glue the Arms to the Body.

Voila!

I haven't done exacly like this myself, i let the one with the Sword also have the Liz' Shield, but on another, i chopped off the Liz' Hands, and added specially prepared Genestealer Claw-hands:
Genestealer Claw Hands with 5 Claws on each, of which one on each look quite like a thumb ......

I'd love to put up pictures on them, and on my "Feline Space Marines", but i am a complete novice on how to handle Pix online.
(I currently have some pictures in J-PEG on my computer, and don't know how to add them here.)

Sorry, but all I'd do is glue a Gaunt head to the body of a Saurus warrior and retrim the sword. It would still be a lizard with a monster head. What about the matching chitin plates, hooves for feet and an extra pair of limbs?

Sure, if i had wanted to do that, i could have, and would.
But i didn't.
It was never my purpose with that miniature.
Maybe i should have mentioned the "monster tau/marine" that i made to accomapany them instead:
Tau Stealth Suit(i think it is called) Legs & Arms parts
Marine Chest & Back plates, and 2 shoulder pads
Gaunt head
Ork bolter (or shoota) glued to the Side of one of the tau suit arms
Chaos Spawn Spines, the longest to mach the Lizardman tails the other ones has, and 4 or 5 smaller to mach the spines the other ones has.

I don't need to tell how they are put together, i assume.

But still, there is really nothing special.
It's just a monster with alernate parts, i'd guess.

adding images is easy.

1. if you dont care about running an account, i'd use Imageshack (click the link)

2. when on there, theres immediatly an "upload files" thing. find the file on your computer, and click upload.

3. then, it will give you some codes, below the thumbnail image, on the left of the page, if you want to put a link to the image, like this:

4. then choose the second code down, it is a simple web adress.

5. if you want to put the image in your post on Gaia, like this:

then choose the third code down, named "Forum Code".

6. just copy and paste the codes wherever you want them in your post.
