Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

Riley made a sound that was mix between a purr and a meow. She rubbed her face into his hand.
 

[NightWerewolf]

Alex chuckled. "Ok when I get a chance I'll go look for a ring. But you're coming with me."  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

Riley licked his hand and jumped off the counter, obviously satisfied. Meanwhile, Eva slept soundlessly in her bed.
 

[NightWerewolf]

Alex nodded. "On the bright side. That should keep you out of our hair for a while." He teased Riley a little and petted her before heading upstairs. He saw Eva asleep in bed and smiled. He took off his shoes and shirt and got into bed behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and slowly drifted to sleep.

The next morning, Eva woke up and looked at Alex still sleeping. For a few moments, she just watched him sleep peacefully. His arm was resting on her side and Eva slowly moved closer until she could really feel his warmth. Again, she just watched him sleep peacefully.

Alex snored quietly as he held onto Eva lightly. He had no intention of getting up anytime soon. Everything seemed to get warmer all of a sudden and he smiled in his sleep.

She smiled and tried to get up but there was a problem. Oh, no. I'm stuck." Eva tried to hold in her laugh as she tried to pull away. But it was no use. His grip was too tight. Finally, she gave up and snuggled closer to him.

Alex woke up after a few minutes but didn't open his eyes. He smiled softly and pulled her closer to him. "Mmmm"

Eva giggled. "You're such a faker." The warmth from him filled her body. She smiled and moved some hair out of his face.

Alex chuckled and felt her hand move across his face. He opened his eyes and stared at her lovingly. "I tried." He smiled and kissed her quickly. "Good morning."  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

She smiled. "Good morning to you too. And you're going to need more practice if you're going to fool me like that. I'm very good when knowing if someone is awake or asleep."
 

[NightWerewolf]

Alex shrugged. "I held you down pretty well didn't I?" He laughed softly. "But I guess I'll work on it."  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

"And that's how I knew you were faking. No man can hold on that tight when he's sleeping." She told him.
 

[NightWerewolf]

"Ok, next time I'll have to try harder." He teased and kissed her lightly. "So, do we have any plans for today?" He asked her.

Eva shook her head. "Not that I know of. But I have to check something." She kissed him and walked into the bathroom. Eva took off the bandage and smiled. The scar was full healed and surprisingly the pain was gone. She walked back in the room and showed him her scar. "Well, that was fast. It doesn't hurt anymore." Eva crawled back into bed and wrapped her arms around his waist. "I guess you really do take the pain way. Do you have any magical powers that I don't know about?" She asked.
