I found it to be okay, though a few things did bug me..
- Everybody is angsty and is being hinted at as having a dark and mysterious past (Which is expected I guess, seeing as this is a Whedon thing)..
- Trying a bit too hard to tie all the movies into it with gamma radiation, super-soldier serum, Extremis AND alien tech all in one little device..
- Those two British persons, annoying as all hell..
- It looks to be a show with an aesop at the end every time, which was already annoying in the 80's..
- The supposed main character, Blandy McNewGuy, is boring and meh..
I did like agent Coulson, he's adorkable and I also like his car, a nice throwback to Captain America.
Not giving up on this yet, pilots usually have problems, so it will be interesting to see where this goes and if it can remain as good.
