____RebeccaKiryu____ "Humans are not the interesting things, moreso the mysteries that surround them."
"Life is nothing more than a game, I have no choice but to enjoy it," she whispered to herself after Alter had left. She was busy thumbing the digivice, reading through the data she had been sent. Alter lacked the amazing charisma that Rebecca possessed, but he knew how to make a good exit. Though it was a bit strange for a servant of the angels to be using a bat motif. Regardless of his dark appearance Alter was true to his word, Rebecca did owe him a bit. She would find a way to pay him back, despite her distaste for his attitude. It was simply so nondescript. Faked or not, at least Rebecca put effort into having a personality. It was then that the Chaoswargreymon growled at her, expecting it to be intimidating. Rebecca was used to dealing with scary looking digimon though, the growl was almost cute to her. "Girlie? Is that a term of endearment, or are you just mocking me," Rebecca asked, simply wanting to talk more. Alter had already given her information, but Marcus might have something interesting to say as well. She silently watched to where exactly this boy was headed. She doubted that his entrance would have the same sort of affect that Alter's did. It was a bit predictable as well. If Marcus wanted to wow people, he would disappear in a cloud of sparkles and rainbows. Do something unexpected ya know? People were so predictable sometimes. Rebecca disliked hanging around such rogues, but when they did open up about themselves it did make for an interesting story. There was a complex story behind every individual, Rebecca was sure of it.
When Marcus released another digimon from his digivice, Rebecca reacted with dull shock. Normally she would have put effort into a more hammy reaction, but at the time all she could come up with was, "Another Chaos digimon I see, I suppose one's digimon must reflect their personality," She commented offhandedly. "I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but do any of your future plans involve taking over the world," She joked, bursting into a fit of giggles. At the same time, her feet were tapping the pink fluffball back and forth. She was dribbling it like a soccer ball. A sign of boredom of course, to tell the truth Rebecca was rather unimpressed with the trick itself. She had once seen a clown perform something to a similiar degree, except with eight copies of himself. Of course he was a world class clown after all, it was to be expected that this commoner could hardly compete with that talent. Rebecca continued to shuffle her feet around the pink mass observing the trio as they walked off. "You know I have a few friends on the spirit base, I doubt they'd appreciate dying," She muttered, despite her frustration about the recent memory jacking she did not believe it warranted death.Well then, she thought, I can't let them upstage me. Wordlessly she flipped the pink object into the air, and kicked it into the face of the thing which now resembled Marcus. It exploded into a cloud of confetti and colored smoke. Rebecca did not take the oppurtunity to run away though, simply reveal what was inside her hat. It was a brown colored bunny, the virus digimon lopmon. Of course that wasn't her entire trick, simply the first phase. Around the group a variety of colored confetti and fireworks ignited at a snap of the girl's finger. Having been setup by Agumon after slipping away from Rebecca during the middle of her rants. The first rule of a magician, never take anything at face value. In the chaos Rebecca tossed her hat into the air, freeing her hand in order to grab a set of cards. "Digimodify-Warp Digivolution!" Her D-arc repeated in monotone as she slid a blue card across it's reader. In a matter of moments, the data of both Lopmon and Agumon reformed into their Megaforms. A wargreymon X and Cherubimon now hovered over the battlefield, waiting for the smoke and confetti to clear. The hat Rebecca had tossed into the air landed seemlessly back on her head, and she had time for a one-liner. "And that's why you never attempt to upstage a Kiryu, you only end up being yanked away by a cane. . " No, that was a bit dry. Now that her trick had been performed Rebecca was satisfied, pursuing any sort of conversation with this Marcus would be futile. Rebecca pressed forward regardless. Both of her digimon stood silent overhead, watching the group. "Oh sorry, I really don't feel like fighting at the moment. . . I just had to pull of a trick. It's an entertainer's thing. But I digress. Tell me Marcus, what is your motivation to fight? As a storyteller in some form or another, I feel a strange motivation to understand your character" Rebecca had no interest in fighting, she simply wanted to talk. However most of her friends were off fighting, or hanging out in their secret bases. It seemed every time she came into contact with another human it devolved into a fight. Was chaos the base of human nature? Perhaps it was not the time to be thinking over her political philosophy, Rebecca thought. Instead she waited for the boy's answer, half expecting him to just lose his temper and attack her.

►ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs◄ ══════════════════ Harbinger of Chaos xxxx The Chaospiedmon looked up at his two new toys and smirked. Landing back on the ground, the digimon pulled two daggers from his sleeves and then expanded them as if he were holding an hand of cards. "Ooh... so she wants to play!?" The digimon was completely obvious to the fact that he still had on a human facade of his tamer.
"No... Cadiaver." Marcus spoke out, not even turning from his dragonoid partner. "Now is neither the place nor the time. We have other matters to attend to." The boy's face dropped in disappointment and the knives in his hands vanished just as they had appeared, by magic. "Ya know... talk to much, but I'll humor you this once," Marcus grabbed a hold of Doroku's shoulder and slung himself the rest of the way. "Do I plan on taking over the world? Probably not... do I plan on riding it of every last thread of peace, probably. You could say I'm one for the more chaotic approach." Both of the digimon chuckled lightly at how ironic his statement was. "As far as my motivation to fight? You could I also say that I have no choice, but to. Some are called to fight for peace while others are called to oppose it. I'm on neither side, I just want to get what belongs to me and if that means the lives of thousands, than so be it." Marcus smirked and ran his hand through his hair allowing his tag and crest to be visible. The golden tag shimmered with the aid of a blood red crest with the symbol of corruption. "Now, as I said, I've humored you enough so I must be going before I lose my temper and kill something." He glared right into the girl's eyes with now orange eyes instead of his usual green eyes. "Bye, bye girlie!!" The clown boy blew a kiss at the Cherubimon and clasped his hands together, making a large explosion of black smoke that warped them from their present location.

____RebeccaKiryu____ "Humans are not the interesting things, moreso the mysteries that surround them."
Rebecca sighed,"All that effort put into a trick and no grand applause." She said this already after the boy had left her alone. Her two mega digimon quickly de-digiolved into their rookie forms. Rebecca preferred her digimon conserved their energy. No matter how much she disliked it, her instincts told her a fight was coming soon. The feeling of foreboding left a bad taste within her mouth. Rebecca could not comprehend the two she had just encountered. There had to exist another motivation than simply spreading chaos. Only madmen and even madder clowns sought that. These people were interesting things, eventually she would unlock the puzzles surrounding their hearts. Rebecca really did love all humans. It was as if their entire existence was a paradox, indeed it was fascinating. Rebecca spun the digivice around her finger, activating it to release Gaomon. She had places to be.

[Enter from File Mountain] {(OOC: )} ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~"--nt you down till I've tasted... wait... what the hell?!" Ocelot was cut off by the realization that he was no longer in the mountains but actually hovering below a darkened sea of corruption. "Where the am I?!""Away from where you can't hopelessly harm others before it is there time." Cadaiver was sitting behind him, suspended in the air by an unknown force that he effortlessly commanded. "I did so ordered by Marcus... your employer." He would glare at the demon that was also glaring him with a look of pure anger etched on his face. "Though I must say, that was quite a display of power... no doubt there will be some consequences for using it, given your condition." He'd in non-nonchalantly. "Tch... what do you take me for?!" the Demon would spit out in response. "What makes you think that?! I'm just as powerful as I look!" The digimon would find himself slowly giving into pride, a trait that was not of his programming. "I don't know, maybe it's the fact that you live inside of a panda suit as a wait of keeping your power hidden?" Cadaiver sighs. "I don't think you do it to fit the new fashion trends."The two would continue their conversation/argument over the seas while on the shore, everyone else had appeared, stretched out and showing signs of heavy fatigue. Paramiere and Destin were completely passed out and in their rookie stages, Destin showing that he had reverted back to his special red skin. Despite their front of all-powerfulness, they were very much on the verge of reverting to digitama from their own battles. Lillymon too was in a state of unconsciousness, holding on dearly to Ocelot's panda-suit. She would begin to stir and would look around in pure confusion. She would sit up and notice that Hiro was also there, but was simply standing and keeping watch over the unconscious. She noticed Marcus as well, laying in the sand as if asleep. "Is he??""No... he is merely resting. No doubt using your master's artificial soul proved to be a bit more than he could handle at this stage." the Leomon would respond in a whisper. "Thanks to Cadaiver, we should be able to rest without having to worry about another fight.""Hmm... that clown sure is something. Lucemon was right to worry." She would respond while nervously scratching the back of her head. She would begin to get the feeling that in some way this was all her and Ocelot's fault. "I agree. Even after traveling with him for so long I feel as if I barely know about him or what he is truly capable of." The lion shakes his ebony-colored mane and breaths a sigh of relief. "I'm just glad he is on our side, but who's to say that we can even find confidence in that." He quietly chuckles and then returns back to watching over Marcus and the others like a Shepard watching his flock. Lillymon too returns to silence, thinking over Leomon's uncertainty in the ChaosPiedmon's allegiance. She would then glance over to the suit in her other arm and would jump up. "Oh NO!! Where is Ocelot?!"Back on the seas, the two demi-gods would continue to bicker, exchanging comment after comment, mainly about Ocelot and his ultimate trump card. "So I take it you can absorb any amount of power... even the combined efforts of a massive group of digimon?" The chaospiedmon would be ever so suspicious of Ocelot's last trick, almost terrified by it but not truly willing to show this fear. "Heh, so I take it you saw that, huh?" Ocelot chuckles knowing all to well that the clown before him was probably frightened by it. "Yeah, comes with being a demon lord... we all have some sort of trick that ties in with what we represent. Surprisingly enough Lucemon can't seem to muster up such a skill.""Hence the reason for your disposal and imprisonment." The clown smiled as if he had finally found the answer that he was looking for. "Interesting...""No... no, not really?" the demon lord would respond in an unconvincing manner.

{(OOC: )} ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~
"Oh really? Then what could a nuisance like yourself do to receive such a strange punishment?" The Chaospiedmon would smirk at the demon digimon and his futile attempts to hide the truth.
"None of your bus--- GAKK!!!" His time had run out. Before he could finish his comeback, the Beelzemon BM coughed up what seemed to be digital blood. "Damn you... Lucemon." The Beelzemon had over stayed his welcome in this true form and was starting to fade away.
"Oh dear... so this is the price of trying to overrule an Arch, eh?" Noticing that Ocelot was slowly losing the ability to remain afloat, the ChaosPiedmon would move to catch him. "I think I'll just remain a loyal servant then. Come now, let us get you back to your suit..." With that, the two would start to make their way back to the shore where Lillymon could be seen heading into a panic.
As they came to land, the corrupted fairy digimon would run towards the Mega level digimon with panda suit in hand. "OMG, OCELOT!!! You are a fool!" She would cry with tears obviously starting to form from her worry.
"Heh... don't worry about me, just make sure you don't end up like me..." He would smirk and then quickly go into a frown as he grabbed the suit. With the zipper already open, a suction-like force would grab a hold of BeelzemonBM by his digicore and then absorb him back into the suit. After a brief moment, the suit would begin to inflate and then turn back into Pandamon. "Even though I hate to say it, I feel... much better."
"Good, now on to the next victims." Taking over the position as leader, Ocelot would look over at the two rookie digimon that were laid out next to Hiro. "How are they?"
With a stern face of dislike, Hiro would glare at the clown for a moment and would then go on with his report. "They're tired... no doubt that trick of yours had some sort of effect on them."
"Oh well, at least they're still alive, and the little prince?" He would respond in a bit of a sarcastic chuckle. "Same condition, but... I don't know how to put it, but I can't feel his presence." He would look at the sleeping tamer with a look of worry. "It's like the body is here, but nothing else."
"Hmmm... that's no good for us." The clown would walk towards the boy and would then kneel down to touch him, but something would happen. A bright flash of light would be released from his digivice that would then change into several beams of light. "Oh?"
The beams of light would each have a different color and would land around the group of digimon, materializing into more digimon... Marcus's other partners: Himaki the Gatomon, Yevon the Stingmon, Marik the Anubimon, Doroku the ChaosWarGreymon, Siegfried as an Asuramon instead of Zanbamon, and the mysterious Digitamamon.
"Yo! What's the big idea?! We're just relaxin in the digifarm and next thing you know we've all been forced to eject!" The gatomon would be the first to speak out in a bit of an outrage. "Is everything alri--?"
"Master Marcus!" Anubimon would interrupt, pointing at the K.Oed tamer. "Marcus?!" The cat digimon would be caught off guard by this and would quickly move to join Cadaiver at the boy's side, examining the beat-up looking tamer. "Is he... Where's Destin?!" Moving from Marcus, he would look around to find the dog of whom he'd trusted to protect Marcus.
"Silence, cat... He's not dead nor is he anywhere near death." Hiro would speak out to quiet the cat digimon with his muscular arms crossed. "He's just a little worn out and needs to rest, hence the reason we're here."
"That is all well and good, but is that the only reason we're all here?"
"No... I think there is another reason that you're all here instead of back on the farm." Not looking up at the group, Cadavier would hold up Marcus's digivice to show it condition.
"Heh... that was a little faster than I expected... He burned it out with the new biosoul that he has." Pandamon would chuckle from the back of the group with Lillymon standing near in a silent state. "That thing is completely useless to you all now."
"So what does that ultimately mean?" Still retaining a calm disposition, Stingmon would move to question the pandamon as there seemed to be information that was being withheld.
"It means that you little tamer there killed you all's connection with him and the power he has to offer you as your tamer. Sucks to be you all."
"YOU INGRATE!!! You knew this would happen all along!" Asuramon would point an angry finger at the panda as his face changed to a face of anger.
"And what if I did? He knew the consequences that were to come from accepting the requests of a demon lord..." Pandamon would stand, slowly regaining his strength. "Looks like you'll be having to find an alternate source of power now." he would smirk, ready to fight in case one of the digimon did not take well to what he had said.
The Gatomon's patience would begin to grow rather thin. "You... you b*****d!!!" With cat-like reflexes, the digimon would fling himself into the air and towards the Pandamon. Electricity would begin to coat his gloved paws as he prepared to slug the pandamon across the face.
"Himaki... Calm yourself!" In a flash, Hiro would be standing in between the two with a hand stretched out to catch the cat's punch. "Fighting about it won't solve anything now."
"He moves..." The silent ChaosWarGreymon would call out with little to no emotion. "Mmm..." Marcus's body would stir, but it would not wake just yet. Completely ignored, the Digitamamon would stand around Marcus's body with Cadaiver, sniffing it for some reason.

{(OOC: )} ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~ "Ugh... My head..." Marcus's body began to stir and his eyes began to open. He felt as if he had been hit by the force of a small train with his entire body starting to ache. He opened his eyes ever so slowly and then lurched upward as he noticed that he was no longer in the mountains. Around him was a heavy fog and dense trees that were dark like ghostly silhouettes. "Alright Cadaiver, play times over... where the heck am I?"
A rather familiar voice would soon call out to him from all around."Hmmm... I find it quite interesting that you call out to the clown when something rather paranormal takes place. hehehe..."
"Come on, Cadaiver... you did your job, not quite playing around." Starting to get a little serious, Marcus would stand up slowly and would adjust his body, ready for a fight. Both of his hands would come up near his face, balled into fists, allowing his knuckles to fit nicely into the grooves they had earned from being worn so aggressively.
The voice would respond to him, now jumping around. "Come come now, surely someone as smart as you could figure out that this is not that sadistic clown's doing." The voice would make yet another laughing sound as if mocking Marcus.
"Oh really? Then who's the cause of this, huh? And you'd better make it a believable answer because I don't like for my time to be wasted!" Starting to get upset, Marcus would reach for his digivice and would be slightly surprised as it was not in it's usual spot on his waist belt.
"Oh, hoho... are we looking for something?" A snapping sound could be heard from a distance and then a sphere of purple light would start to approach him slowly from within the trees. The sphere would stop a few feet from Marcus and would dissolve into his digivice.
As the digivice came into sight, Marcus would be completely caught off guard by the digivice's appearance. The spikes along it's side would be blood covered and broken leaving heavily serrated edges, the screen would be cracked and dark as if void of all life and energy, and the original shape of the device would be heavily charred, as if it had just been pulled from a fire. "What... what did you do to my DIGIVICE!!?" He would roar in anger.
"Hmph... it wasn't me that did it, but you and your reckless use of your new-found powers." The voice would ring of a serious tone now. "Maybe this gift was too much for you to bear, maybe it should be taken away and given to more capable hands. Heh, yes, more capable hands indeed." the mocking tone would begin to pick up once more as the voice then began to laugh at Marcus. Whatever powers were holding the device would lift from it and allow it to slowly fall down to Marcus's now open hands.
As the device touched the tamers hands, the cracks along the screen would spread till it covered the entire device and it would explode into 1s and 0s, vanishing into the abyss that surround him. "No..." Marcus's eyes would widen as the device vanished in his hands. "No, no, no... this has to be a dream. I have to wake up."
(Enzetsu)
The tamer would drop to his knees as the memories of using the device began to flood his mind. However, these would not be happy memories. Thoughs of stabbing Chris in his outrage would come first, followed by the killing of Alter, and finally would be Kazu and all the pain that came from that. Tears would begin flow down his face ever so slowly as the realization that he was now powerless began to draw closer and closer. The boy would find himself bent over with hands on the ground and tears falling more heavily, painting the non-existent ground a wet, yet clear color. Marcus's eyes would grow a pale, orange color.
"Sorry, but this is no dream... take on the powers of a devil and you must also pay the fine that comes with it. Hehehe..."
"Shut... shut up... stop talking... I'm not powerless..."
"Oops, looks like this one has broken t--"
"I said.... SHUT UP!!!" With hands curling back into fists, Marcus would scream at the sky and allow his feral rage to take over, covering his body in the same gray color that he used from biosoul. It began to spiral and rage around him like a fire, like angry hands trying to grab at the air around him.
"Sigh... you never learn, do you? Violence won't solve all your problems, ya know."
"Uck..." Something inside of him would snap like a twig with too much pressure applied to it. The flaming soul around him would backfire and burn Marcus. The sheer pain of his own power turning against him would cause him to pass out, laying lifeless yet twitching and steaming. He would feel as if he'd been set on fire but there would be no signs of burning anywhere on his body. As he laid in the monotone realm, a beam of light would shine down on him followed by a single feather.
"Oh Marcus, you have so much to learn." The voice would appear above Marcus and would take the form of an angelic child with many wings, flapping and showering Marcus with pure white downy. "You think yourself to be unbeatable, uncontrollable, you are but a mere child who has been lied to and been built up to be something that he is not, but I will aid you passed that point. I will rebuild you into something far better than you once were. I, Lucemon, shall make you a servant that the Demon Lords will be proud of."
As the angelic child would then land on the ground with bare feet, a light would release from the boy and would spread from there till it consumed the entire area with this blinding light, holy yet wreaking of a far greater evil.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slowly, Marcus's eyes would open once more to the sounds of crashing waves and shifting sand. He look up slowly only to close his eyes once more as light would hit his eyes and sting a little. "Huh? My head doesn't... it doesn't hurt anymore... strange." He would whisper to himself. He would start to sit up, only to be knocked back down by two overjoyed digimon. "MARCUS!""MARCUS!"Both Destino, the Gaomon, and Himaki, the Gatomon, would bowl over the tamer with their affection. Lucemon

{(OOC: )} ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~ Marcus would struggle for breath as the cat and dog digimon latched on to him. Somehow finding strength where there was none, Marcus would push back enough for the two to get the idea that he needed air.
"Alright you two, that's enough..." Hiro would call out. "Keep it up and you make him pass out again." He would tap his foot to let them know that he wouldn't repeat himself.
The two digimon would get the message and would let go of Marcus, but would still sit down in front of him, panting from the exhaustion that worry had stricken them with. Destin would look as if he was going to say something but would be cut off as Marcus's hands were laid on both of the digimon, rubbing their fur. "How long have I been out?"
"Two days..." Cadaiver would make himself known to the tamer and would step up to standing next to Hiro. "It would seem that you really and truly 'overdid' it this time." The clown would shake his head and would hand Marcus his digivice. "While you were out, it did something weird, apparently it's not working anymore, hence the reason we're all here."
This would make Marcus aware of the fact that all his digimon were out at one time, something that hadn't happened in quite some time. He would look down at the digivice and clutch it tightly as if searching for a pulse in his fingertips. "I guess he--" Marcus would freeze mid sentence as the image of Lucemon appeared in his head and then fled taking all his memories of the dream with him. "Huh... that... was weird..."
"What... what's wrong?" "Nothing and that's the thing. Aside from the fact that my digivice is broken... I... I can't recall anything after the battle." Marcus would try to stand only to stumble back to his feet. As he fell back, he would bump into the digitamamon. "Eh?"
"My name.... Arakune... your digisoul." The digimon would call out in broken english. The digimon's yellow eyes would display a child-like happiness while his mouth was hidden by the opaque color of its shell.
All of the digimon would be shocked by the fact that the digimon spoke for the first time, but Marcus would be caught off guard by the other part. "Wait... say that again. You're my what?"
"Me... you digisoul in digimon... form. I born inside of you, very confusing place." The digimon would nod, still retaining that childish disposition.
"Hmm, that would make sense now that you think about it." Paramiere would yawn out of boredom and would also make herself known. The red lizard would stand near Doroku with her arms crossed. "Who knows, we might be able to get it out of him... if we beat him enough."
"I like you thinking girl, but anything that comes out of that is property of Lord Lucemon, need I remind you."
At the sound of Ocelot's voice, Marcus would remember something that he needed to say to that particular digimon and its buddy, lillymon. Trying to stand once more, he would find himself leaning on the egg digimon with Destin and Himaki around for support. "Hey, Ocelot... mind telling me what the heck you two were doing back there?"
"Heh... following orders." The pandamon would frown as he glared back at the glaring tamer.
'Following orders?! I didn'---"
"Never said we were following your orders..." Ocelot would interrupt. "We might be here with you, but we're not your partners nor your pets, so don't get it twisted. We work for Lucemon and no one else, got it?"
Marcus would find himself silenced, not really having the strength to fight back with words, let alone fists. In a moment it would be fair enough to notice that all of Marcus's digimon were around him, leaving Ocelot and Jou to feel somewhat like outcasts. "I see..."
"Yeah, no hard feelings or anything." The lillymon would speak out in an attempt to douse the flames of anger being displayed. "We're just were to keep a watch on you and--"
"And make sure that we don't lose sight Lucemon's conditions, right? He sure knows how to keep to a contract." Cadaiver would interrupt with a chuckle. "I guess it can't be helped."
At this point, Destin and Hiro would know what was being discussed, but the other digimon (Marik, Himaki, Yevon, Siegfried, and Doroku) would have no idea what was going on. "Wait... Lucemon? Marcus... what's going on?"
"If I am correct, Marcus must have made some sort of dark deal and now has to keep up the demands to save either himself... or someone else from total damnation, correct?"
"Couldn't get any clear, unfortunately." "Marcus..."
All eyes would be on the tamer now. "Don't... don't look at me like that. I didn't have any other choice."
"Always have a choice... you always have a say." Doroku would reply in a whisper. "Well I don't know about you all, but I can't say that I'm not surprised. We all have experienced this before, no?" Seigfried, while rather chaotic in nature, would side with Marcus more so because he figured that it would reward him with power in the end.
"Of course, Siegfried... you and Marcus are quite the same... both attracted to dark deals and what not." Marik would sigh, shaking his head in disapproval. "You're one to talk, Mr. GodOfDeath..." "Ex... remember I gave up that title when I decided to travel with you clowns..."
"Hey, all of you... quiet. Arguing about it won't change the fact that it happened. The only thing we can do is support him in his decision as his partners." "Spoken like a true pet. heheheh." "Watch it..."

The frustrated Leomon was starting to lose patience with the Pandamon and his attitude. Unconsciously, the lion's hand started to move towards his blade, lowly pulling it out. "I'm starting to grow extremely tired of you and your comments. Marcus doesn't--"
"Hiro... please, I can speak for myself." Marcus looked over at the lion and crossed his arms crossed. He then turned to look at the Pandmon and started walking across the dark sand towards them. "I completely understand your masters intentions and will be alright with you keeping your eyes on me, but what I will not tolerate is you going on your own." He stopped a few feet from the digimon and stamped hard into the sand, using some extra energy to make sand fly up around him. "You said so yourself that you were given to me as my allies so stop trying to go against me like you're on your own... HELP ME, DAMMIT!!" The last part of his comment boomed with the aid of biosoul that was starting to spark around him. As if being forced to, Marcus bowed to the digimon, recognizing them as his 'superiors' at the moment. While his face was hidden, the boy winced as the soul was already starting to burn him like in the dream that he couldn't seem to remember.
"Hmmm." Ocelot, the Pandamon, somewhat speechless and looked over at the Lillymon behind him. After they both nodded Ocelot would turn back to face the boy with a smirk. "Hmmm, humbleness and weakness... I like it." His tone sounded as if he was mocking Marcus.
"That's it!" Gaomon growled as he popped knuckles and started running towards the Pandamon. He stopped when the demon finished his sentance.
"Shows that you're still willing to overcome your current state of mind and inner superiority complex." "Huh?!" "Alright kid, we'll off as much help to you as we can." Ocelot reached out and patted the boy on his back and the retracted as the soul power burned his paw. "But first we'll have to get you a new digivice to contain your biosoul."
"Any Marcus's team only seems to grow stronger by the moment." Cadaiver made his way over to joining Doroku and Paramiere, the original group of bad guys to join Marcus. The guilmon chuckled to herself, something that she didn't normally do. "Who would have figured that to taming this beast would call for Marcus to humiliate himself."
Gaomon would look somewhat confused by all that was happening. First it seemed that Ocelot was mocking his tamer and now the digimon was saying that he would completely help out Marcus. "Wait... what's going on here?"
"Nothing Destin... don't worry about it, okay?" Marcus took a deep breath allowing his soul power to quiet down within him. He could already feel the heat of the moment starting to cool down. After a moment he would turn towards the red Gaomon with a weak smile. He then walked towards the dog and patted him on the head. "Alright guys... I guess I've been a bad tamer by not letting you know all that is going on. To throw all speculation out the window, I have indeed sided with the Demon Lord, Lucemon, in his quest to learn more about and acquire the digisouls of other tamers. In doing that we're going to face many tamers that will try to stop us."
"Heh, we're already used to that." The Asuramon chuckles. "You're not exactly the most well liked in this realm." "Heh, then I guess this will be easy except for one thing... I don't have my digisoul anymore nor does my digivice work."
The digimon that were released earlier would all be caught off guard by this statement and begin talking at the tamer about his recklessness and how this would be even harder to accomplish.
"Silence... all of you!" the ChaosPiedmon would boom out, causing all of the digimon to go silent. "He is not done."
"Thank you, Cadaiver. As I was saying, I don't have access to my digisoul anymore, but I do have an alternate source." Balling his fist tightly, a small aura of gray 1s and 0s would coat his fist. "A gift from Lucemon himself, Biosoul. It's not quite as refined as Digisoul, but if we all work hard, I should be able to master it and be a better support to you all."
"Let us not forget the finding of Mugen..." Guilmon would call out to Marcus.
"Oh right!" Marcus would pound his hand into his palm. "I also need to get my hands on another digivice." He would reach from his device pocket and would reveal the broken digivice that seemed to be completely void of power. "Until I find one of those, none of you... with the exception to Hiro, Cadaiver, Ocelot, and Jou, will be able to access your other powers, namely digivolving."
"Well that's just great... you really out dig yourself this time." Gatomon would chuckle sarcastically. "Well looks like we've got a bit of a challenge on our hands, don't we?" "One the likes we've never seen before." Marcus would respond with a little doubt. "Then we'll be even stronger when we overcome it, right?!" "I'm sure of it."
"Well then, I guess we'd best get training if you all are going to have to go a while without digivolving." Hiro would chuckle as he sheathed his saber back behind him. "I think it would be best that we go to the dojo in Tropical Jungle."
"Huh?" Stingmon would react to the mention of that place, recalling it as the place where he was trained by his previous mentors, Griever (Kuwagamon) and Fenrir (Kabuterimon). "Do you mean that dojo?"
"One in the same. I have a feeling that going to File Mountain might only attract more attention." Hiro would look around the sand and then go into another thought. "Ah, Cadaiver, quick question. I know you could have gone anywhere you wanted to with that forced transportation, why here?"
"Hehehe... I was wondering when someone would ask me that." Cadavier would gather everyone's attention as he moved towards the dark water. "It just so happens to be that one of the keys to Chaosdramon is right here in this very ocean."

{(OOC: )} ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~
A breeze would blow through the corrupted beach, causing dark waters to lick at the sandy shore. The clown digimon, ChaosPiedmon, would walk towards the water, allowing the waves to wash over his white clown boots. He would continue to wade through the water till it was up to his legs. He would stop and would bring a gloved hand up to his painted lips and would take in a deep breath before whistling loudly into the sea of corruption that swayed before him.
Marcus and the other digimon would be slightly confused by the clown's actions, but Paramiere and Doroku would know exactly what the clown was up to. They both knew about the keys, their purposes, as well as where they were hidden. "What... what is he--"
A stirring of the waves in the distance would beckon an answer for Marcus's cut off question. The water would being to spiral violently as a whirlpool was forming as a massive serpent of dark colored metal. The beast would let out a roar towards the darkening skies, wonder who has disturbed his slumber. The serpent would glare down at the source of the sound and would smirk as he now realized who it was. In a bellowing baratone voice, the serpent would call out to the clown digimon. "Ah, Cadaiver, is that you?" The serpent would slither through the water to meet with up with his old ally. Upon getting closer he would notice that it was more than Cadaiver that had shown up at his doorstep. "Well then, what is all this?"
"We're here for the key." Cadaiver's voice would be stern and full of serious intent, unlike his usual self. "The Lord is preparing to revive Mugen."
"Oh?" From above, the ChaosSeadramon would look from Cadaiver to Marcus and then back. He would come close to the clown's face, attempting to whisper but failing. "And is the Lord even ready? Last i checked, he still had much more room to improve."
Cadaiver would chuckle, closing his eyes. "I can assure you that he is nearly ready and if not... once we go through obtaining all the keys, he will be."
"Ya know... I can hear you both." Marcus would take offense to the two mega leveled digimon talking about him. He would step from his other digimon and would walk towards the edge of the sand where both the ChaosPiedmon and ChaoSeadramon were standing. "So... I take it you're the keeper of one of the keys."
The serpent would look over at the human and would give him a rather toothy grin. "That I am."
"So would that mean that the rest of you also have keys?" He would look back at Paramiere and Doroku, both of whom would give a slight nod. He would look from them to Cadaiver, expecting the same response.
"Possibly, but don't think that means we'll just hand them over to you."
"Tch... it's the Trial of the Eight Kings all over again."
"That it is, Hiro. It even has the same sort of consequence if he is too fail, not to say that we'd abandon him if he needed us." Cadaiver would throw a sharp glare at the lion for his remark of their procedures.
Hiro would freeze at the clown's comeback, knowing that Cadaiver was right. He looked away, half wanting to kill the clown and half wanting to flee with disgust from his own actions. He could feel the cold sting of Cadaiver's words warping in his mind to say that it was his fault that Marcus was in this predicament.

Marco Sombra de Milagros If he is the light and sun then I must be the shadow of miracles... "Ahhh!" Marco and Veedramon shouted as they were dragged down to the black ocean while holding onto Leviamon. He stopped screaming, but instead gripped the scales of Leviamon's body for dear life, it felt like they were free falling and the wind pressure was incredibly powerful. Marco looked up at the sky, the portal was slowly closing and through it he could see the nearly destroyed Network City. He looked away, they could not be returning there any time soon and Marco wondered if they would be returning home at all. Leviamon landed on the waters in a giant splash that shook the water violently, creating terrible waves. Marco finally looked up and spotted Veedramon next to him, they had not fallen off the giant leviathan, but there presence was instantly notice by the beast. "You dare follow me to my domain!" Its voice was loud and sounded more like roars. Veedramon quickly picked up Marco and placed him on his back as he traveled down Leviamon's scaly back. The mythical dragon looked around, from all sides there was nothing, but water and no land. Leviamon began to shake its tale in order to throw them off, but Veedramon was already running up his back towards its head. Leviamon roared as it began to flip his tail trying to hit them. Veedramon was barely dodging them and each hit created small shock waves making it even harder. Marco looked around frantically, there was no escape. "I can't see any land, but if we stay here then he's has it pinned down." They were suddenly hit Leviamon's tail, the air knocked right out of them along with being send flying. Marco had lost consciousness and so had Veedramon. They reached up high and began to fall down. Leviamon swam under them and opened his huge jaws ready to devour them. Veedramon slowly opened his eyes and noticed they were falling. Marco was falling faster than he was and when he looked down his eyes widen, what would meet at the bottom was not water, but Leviamon's bottomless pit. Veedramon placed his arm at his side and positioned his body directly down like a missile to increase his falling speed. "You won't take him!" Veedramon shouted as he reached Marco and wrapped his arms around him. A light engulfed their body and Leviamon flinched from the sudden brightness. "Veedramon digivolve to....AeroVeedramon!"Veedramon grew in size. A pair of dragon wings emerged from his back and large blades extended from his elbows. His horns became sharper and there were metal shoulder armors in each of his shoulders. His features became more rough and strong. AeroVeedramon flew over Leviamon with a now conscious Marco on his back. "We can't run away from this! AeroVeedramon we make our stand right here!" The holy dragon digimon nodded as he faced the large leviathan. Leviamon turned to them and laughed, "I respect your courage, but its going to take a miracle to defeat me, kid! I will devour you and your digimon!" Marco and AeroVeedramon cried out as they charged towards Leviamon who had opened his mouth wide again charging for his attack. A long battle had begun.

{(OOC: )} ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~
"So what do I have to do to earn the approve of you all?" Marcus would turn his entire body to let the four Chaos digimon know that he was speaking to them as a whole. "If I am to be what you all are wanting me to be then I'm going to need you all to tell me and lead me." He would look down at the ground now as he realized that he was finally conforming. It sickened him greatly, but this was the cost of the hole that he had dug himself into and the only way out would be to continue digging till he reached the other side.
The ChaosWarGreymon, "Noth--" Doroku would make a noise as if he wanted to speak, but held his tongue. Paramiere would look from the large dragon to the clown and finally back to the tamer before she would be the first to speak. "Granted my abilities are quite limited, I would prefer that you get your soul power under control as well as find a new digivice. That would earn my approval." The lizard digimon would cross her arms and snort a small ember of fire into the sand below her feet.
"That doesn't seem to unreasonable." "Heh, I could make my demands a little tougher, if you'd like." "No, no... that won't be necessary." Marcus would quickly respond, throwing up both hands in objection. "Then you have my demands."
The tamer nods and looks to the others for there response. He would give extra attention to Doroku, knowing that the armored dragon had something to say. "And what about you, Doroku? I know you have something to say."
"Master Marcus does not need to earn Doroku's approval... for he already has it." The dragonic warrior would look down at the ground with a slight blush appearing across his blacked face. "The master has been good to Doroku ever since he gave Doroku the name. For that, Doroku has pledged alliance with the tamer."
"Doroku..." Marcus would be completely caught off guard as this was one of the first times that Doroku had said anymore than a two to three word response.
"As always, the brute is the most easily swayed. That gives you two fairly easy tasks." Paramiere would smirk as she looked up at the blushing giant. She took had started to feel the same way about Marcus, especially after she and Doroku had been digitamized and officially bound to Marcus.
"I for one am no not as easily impressed." The clown digimon walk turn to walk towards the boy, circling him like a vulture would do for dying prey. "For the past year or so, I have followed you. Sure it was because I'd eventually bring you in, but I followed you nonetheless. I have witnessed your strengths and your flaws. Both of which show that you are very much human." He would stop and look up at the dreary grayness of the clouds above. "Sure I did not know that your corruption ran as deep as making a deal with Lucemon, but I figured that something separated you from the rest. However, it is your feelings and emotions that hold you back, especially towards certain people. I want you to... defeat either Kyo Roji or Chris Shadowheart."
Hiro, Destino, Himaki, Marcus, and all the others that knew of Marcus's connection to both boys would gasp in utter shock. They [the digimon] knew that this would put a heavy load on Marcus to have to take out one of his close friends. From this, they feared---
"I'll... I'll do it."
"MARCUS!? You can't be serious, can you?!" Leomon would roar in objection, refusing to believe that his tamer would agree to these demands.
"I just have to defeat them in combat, not kill them." Even though he was talking to Hiro, he sounded more like he was trying to convince himself. "I can do that, I have the power to... I... I can do this."
"If you have any hopes in completing the task before you, then you'll have no choice but to do so." The clown digimon would cross his harms wearing a face of complete lack of emotion. "I'll be watching you to make sure that you are actually doing it and not conspiring. If you want this key," Cadaiver would extend his hand and would reveal a silver key that had a black and white mask on its bow. "then you'll complete the task I've placed before you."
"Heh." The ChaosSeadramon would bellow in laughter as he watched the tamer squirm from the assignment that Cadaiver gave him. "All of you are quite difficult, with the exception of you, Doroku. I would just like for him and his puny allies to defeat me in combat. That is all it would take to satisfy me." The Sea beast would chuckle and lick his metallic lips would an equally metallic tongue. "Think you can do that?"
Marcus would still be silent, pondering over the task that Cadaiver had given him. Would he really be able to go to one of the two and assault them in combat without telling them what it was for.
"Marcus." Destin would walk towards his tamer and would lightly tap him in the side. "I'm sort of confused, but I'll stand beside you no matter what." His voice would sound, for the first time, like he was trembling. "Nothing you do will ever change that. If you must become something that we've fought against then I too will also conform."
A hand would reach down and would massage the red hounds head. "You're a good partner, I don't deserve you..." "Nope, but I'm here anyways. Besides, who knows what may come out of this." "How... how can you be so confident? Why don't you leave?"
"Because we've each gotten to know that you make the dumbest mistakes in the world. And without us, you'll surely die early." Himaki would follow behind Destin, taking the other side and chuckling as he spoke, an emotion that was completely confident. "Besides, it's not like they've ask for death... at least not everyone." He would glare up at the sea creature, full in confidence that they would easily be able to take out the over-grown snake.
Hiro would not believe that the others were easily going along with this insane scheme. He would look as one by one, Marcus's partners would move towards the tamer to show that while they either did not approve or were completely confused, they would still follow him. Marik, however was the only one that did not move.
"Hiro... why do you hesitate so much?" The anubimon would not look at the lion, but at the group of digimon. "Surely you're not holding on to the thoughts that Marcus will go back to being the innocent tamer whom, might I remind, you lead astray to begin with." He smiles slyly as he finishes his statement, "I don't quite know all the details, but how about you not abandon him again."
Hiro would go silent realizing that everything Marik had said was true. Even though he did in fact lead Marcus, by the hand, down the path to corruption. However, he did feel that he could correct it and turn Marcus back to the innocent Marq. "Fine."
"Atta boy."

[Enter from Network City]
D walked into the area where the entrancing landscape of the Dark Ocean was located, witnessing the electric current surging through the corrupted ocean of vile infection. He had been travelling for a long period of time to find the one he was hoping to meet. He looked towards the huddled group of Digimon surrounding their Tamer, Marcus. D had caught word of a Tamer who had been corrupted by a Demon Lord Digimon, and was hoping to find him. Keeping a steady stance, and a careful watch of his surroundings, D spoke towards the Tamer. "Are you the Tamer who had taken another's life?", he inquired noting each of Marcus' Digimon, and the Tamer's current lack of a Digivice not being visible, as his Digivice was also not visible for the time being.
A small smile came upon the Tamer's face, looking downwards as he continued his introduction, "I know this may seem odd for me to be telling you this, but I know of your so called Contract with Lucemon. I can still sense his lingering presence here..." The Tamer was surrounded by the dark aura coming off from the area, while identifying the Demon Lord Digimon simply by the particular feel he obtained while sensing the area. "I am not here to fight against you, yet, but I am here with a proposition. I know that I may not be able to undo what you have done, but I am quite sure that I can offer you much more than what Lucemon is offering you, and with not a single string attached. Of course I am in no way so ever planning on you cutting ties with him due to his... 'connection' if you will, with you, but to simply aid you for the time being." he explained further, as his head raised, glancing at the Digimon that were supposedly under his control. The very ominous Tamer had a small smile upon his face, especially once his eyes had caught upon Destin, Paramiere, Doroku, Hiro, and even Cadaiver for a different reason, as his eyes narrowed upon that one Digimon in particular.
"This Digimon, does it know of its origins, Marcus?" the Tamer asked, watching the clown themed Digimon. Still standing from a safe distance from attack and ever ready to react, D awaited for Marcus' response to his words, and was simply waiting patiently, as well for his answer upon Cadaiver's knowledge upon its very own existence. Although D was not too well known around these parts, he has quite the experience to be knowledgeable upon the various topics that were currently of his concern, the main one being with Marcus, for the time being.

{(OOC: As Marcus has never met you and most of the digimon he has now were not in the Memories event, pardon me if I'm a little cautious on how you know so much...)} ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~
At the sound of footsteps Cadaiver would look over in the direction of D and would wave a single hand across the salt flavored air. Instinctively, six knives would appear around the boy in a ring, each ready to be released into the boy from all sides. "Don't you know that it's rude to interrupt grown-ups while they are speaking?"
Marcus would break from the circle of digimon, looking over at the boy that seemed to be addressing him. "Assuming you're talking to me... no, I am not. Might I ask who you are?" He would glare at D with chaotic orange eyes. In the back of his mind, he knew that getting too aggressive would lead to a problem since he currently lacked a catalysis for his bio-soul. As the boy began to talk, not having introduced himself, Marcus would pause for a moment as the boy mentioned his contract with Lucemon.
"I see..." The part about Lucemon's Lingering presence troubled him as he was unable to recall any of the conversation he had with the Lucemon clone inhabiting his inner heart. "I'm going to cut you off there. Proposition? Ha, I highly doubt that you could come up with anything even close to the s**t I have going on now." He would cross his arms and laugh. "I don't know where you got all this information and frankly, I neither want your charity, nor do I even care to hear what you have to say."
While Marcus was done with this boy without even wanting to hear anymore, Cadiaver was a little intruded. At the snap of his nimble fingers, the knives would vanish, but the caution would not. "Marcus... this boy wishes to know, why not let him in... we could always kill him afterwards." The digimon would chuckle and would start to step towards the human.
The ChaosSeadramon that was speaking with the group would look over at the boy as well. He would wonder what would possess any human being to come near a group of this magnitude, with claims that would cause any man, woman, child, or digimon to take offense. "Cadaiver... why are you humoring this peon? He obviously has a death wise."
"Hahaha, too true my comrade, but all this talk about death and killing has me a little giddy." A knife would appear in one hand as he brought it up to his tongue and licked it.
Hiro and Marik would notice that another human was approaching as well as seeking conversation. The two beast digimon would notice tension in the air, coming from the stranger and would move to join the group. This would place a total of twelve digimon in the area, not including the idle ChaosSeadramon.
"Is something wrong?" The leomon would ask the Stingmon at a low whisper. "Not sir yet. I can't quite read this boy as I would anyone else." Yevon, the stingmon, relies in a matching volume. His eyes would continue to stay locked on the boy in case something were to rise. His vision was not supernatural, but with higher speed, he had a tendency to see a little into the future on upcoming actions. D, however, was a complete mystery to him. "I'm going to assume that this means we should be cautious?" The anubimon would chime in. "No... just means that at the moment, we're sitting blindly with few options should this get aggressive." "So we worry." The two would say in unison.
"Would you like for me to show you or would you rather I show you, Mr. Psychic?" The clowns eyes would fixate on D, locking with them in fact.
"What?" Marcus and his other digimon would be caught off guard by Cadaiver's revelation. "That explains a lot."
"Cadaiver... I fear you sometimes." "And for good reason." He would reply to the giant sea creature. "So, what say you?" focusing his attention back on D, even though he had not once turned his physical attention back to D.
