(((OOC: It has been two years since Hayato disappeared, and three years since Naoko was kidnapped, meaning that Naoko and Hayato's relationship ran for a year and three months (the 3 months being the time that Naoko was kidnapped). But, of course, Naoko and Hayato knew each other prior to the kidnapping. So Hayato has been in a coma for, at most, two years. There's a Naoko post that talks about it too on this page http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=17661159&page=51It's the part in the italics.)))

Maybe we can some how arrange it...
That had really been all that Naoko needed to hear. It meant that Sai liked the idea... that he didn't have to try and hold back on what he said because his brother might take it the wrong way and thus compromise his own current stance on their relationship.
"Niisan..." Naoko smiled, looking up at his brother. "Then once I get the band resolved, let's do it. I really want to. I just didn't think that, you know, you would be up for it."
Okay, so Naoko had a flare for using innuendos when he didn't know he was... but that hardly stopped the feeling of boyish happiness that flooded through him. Smiling, the young man leaned back against the booth... at least until the food arrived.
Naoko never really paid attention to the names of food. He just ate and generally liked what he ate. Especially when Sai picked it out. But curried chicken was, in essence, his absolute favorite Indian food... and thus was the first morsel to grace his palette.
"Look," the pianist spoke, pointing his fork at Sai. "I haven't even meet Shou face to face, so obviously I haven't seen his a** in person. Just... a picture here and there... and no, not of his a** but of him in general. Do you think they'd sign him into Hikari ya Yami without consulting me first? Of course not!" Naoko shrugged after chewing another piece of chicken. "And if he's seeing someone, all the better. It's about time someone in this business wasn't single, right?"
To Naoko, being single and a musician was kind of going hand-in-hand lately. After all, he himself was single... Ryuu... Nakai... It only stood to reason that Shou would be single too. If not... well, then he was an oddity to the music world. Perhaps a very very good oddity.
Blinking, pausing in the middle of popping another piece of chicken in his mouth, Naoko looked at his brother as if he were insane. He put down the fork and chicken, "Niisan... you ordered a ton of food. How can you possibly want dessert too?" the pianist replied with a slight laugh.
Finding that their banter was at least steering them clear of confusing and difficult conversation for the both of them, NAKO decided to broach an entirely new subject for debate... "So, what kind of business ARE you in town for lately? How's that going, by the way?"
To delve or not to delve... that was certainly the pressing question for Koyasu Akihiko at the moment.
The man who was relaxing beneath him was just so damn tempting... not to mention that Narcissus KNEW Izzy was blushing because he could tell it from the different coloration of his ears.
And if he hadn't been able to tell from that... well... the soft words of pleasure that seemed to be breaking free from the pillow were oh-so-telling...
The musical prodigy had never before felt himself grow hot and bothered by giving someone a back massage... but when Izzy Lucky arched his back so perfectly... when he told him not to stop...
Akihiko swallowed, continuing to press the palm of one hand against Izzy's spine and push upward, straightening the alignment of vertebrae. But that other hand...
Izzy's voice... 'don't stop.'... those simple words... they were seriously beginning to drive the musician's libido crazy and it was taking every ounce of willpower the man had NOT to rid himself of the yukata and take his manager right there.
His manager...
That was a dangerous ground to tread, wasn't it? Especially with everything Izzy was doing for him. Letting him stay at his apartment... Financing his performance...
But even as he was thinking these things, Narcissus' blue eyes were taking in the perfectly toned back and shoulders... That tousled hair... The a** that was even shaped seductively through pajama pants...
Mentally, Akihiko could see the expression on Izzy's face, even if his manager's expression was buried within a pillow. Those rosy cheeks... that expression of pleasure, etched into the man's features...
Narcissus just couldn't take it anymore! His entire body was wanting to simply touch this man below him, so do anything and everything to the manager who, he was sure, had never been with another man before. So, even as he continued to rub up Izzy's spine, the hand near the small of Izzy's back, crept down, dipping beneath the lip of Lucky's pants.
Of course, Akihiko made it seem like he was just using the pressure of his hand to push down the lower portion of the spine to the tail bone.
After all... it was supposed to be only a massage. Nothing more... Right?

What a shock, it was so surprising, You looked so small and frail------------------------------------------------}:- Izzy Lucky At times life can be so enlightening .uoy no nrut nac ti tuB
If he had only realized how much he was turning on his Star, he might have got up right away and been the professional manager that he was on most occasions. But at the moment, having his intense stress lifted by each movement of those perfect fingertips was far more alluring than being the perfect manager.
As each vertebrae popped, it was as if the blood had started running free through his veins once again. His sensitive skin shivered from the freed nerves and his fingers stretched out releasing the crumpled sheets. "You've fingers to die for, Koyasu-san." he whispered under his breath.
Izzy surely couldn't say he wasn't feeling something at the moment from all this pleasurable attention. If anything, his back was entirely seduced by the hands that wandered there. As the fingers slipped just beyond his waist band. He might have thought something about it, but the hand pushing down brought a sudden pop at his tail bone that caused another desiring groan from his moist lips as his back arched a bit more along the edge of Koyasu-san's hands. "Ahh! Mmm...Koyasu-san...I think your fingers are heaven. I've never been pampered like this....I'll have to pay you back someday. Mmmm..."
His offering if he could have analyzed it was probably the wrong thing to say to Koyasu-san; but he wasn't thinking clearly. His manager self seemed to be offline for the moment. He licked his upper lip almost sure that Koyasu-san was getting close to the end of this wonderful experience.
Actually, to be honest, he didn't want it to be over so fast. His body was tingling a little bit more than he thought it would and he was glad he was on his stomach when he realized that the blood rushed to more than one place. Certainly, he didn't want to tell his Star that the man had that sort of effect on him!

"Alright...just let me know when and I will try to get my schedule to abide." he answered feeling rather satisfied to see that boyish smile return to his brother's lips again.
"Uh huh..." he continued to tease with a knowing nod. "Oh well, you know I don't know much about the music industry in that regard. I didn't know how much consultation or decision making you had." He paused for a moment an then laughed, "Well yes, I suppose it is a single man's world in the music business. I'm sure you'll be the first to ask him if he's seeing someone." Another tease but he enjoyed watching his brother blush. He couldn't help that part. And if he had to stay at arm's length from here on out, he deserved at least one consolation prize.
"Because I burn a lot of calories! Oh I'll take the leftovers home if we don't finish. I'm sure that I won't mind having them twice. But I won't miss dessert. No way." Of course, that might have been a bit optimistic on his part but he'd take it to go too if he had to. His fork stabbed a cube of cheese and he popped it into his mouth with a content sigh of satisfaction from the well cooked meal.
"Mmm...my business? Ah I'm visiting a few companies to do a little venture capitalist investigation. So if they are worth it, I might invest. It's a bit of work pouring over documents and financials. Not nearly as much lime light as your work...but it pays the bills and provides a passive income if they are successful. " he answered just before washing down his last few bites with a bit of iced chai. He could say that was the truth because he was doing just that, however, it was only the reinvesting of Shou's wealth not his own.
A strange scenario indeed because he could never talk to Shou...couldn't control him, couldn't guess his next move. Shou...didn't seem to know he was there. That thought distracted him for a short moment but then he said, "Yes, and so when you want to go on vacation, let me know so I can make sure I'm not overseas checking out my new investments."

Naoko couldn't help but roll his eyes, "I'm not interested in him like that. Geez... I haven't even met the man yet. At LEAST let me meet him before you start teasing me." Of course he was joking. He didn't mind Sai's teasing in the least. It felt natural... perfectly natural... And the pianist had missed that.
As NAKO listened to his brother, he began to realize that Sai really was, apparently, quite the successful investor. "Maybe I'll let you point me in the direction of a few wise investments." the blond replied with a half smile before sipping his now luke-warm chai. "I've got quite a bit of money that I don't know what to do with from playing back-up gigs for SMASH."
It was about this time that one of the waitresses came by to take their dessert order. Of course, Naoko was leaving that up to his brother, but he did ask the woman for a to-go container for his curry. He could put it in the fridge at the hospital's nurse station... that way, he wouldn't go hungry again while waiting. Waiting... For what? For a man in a coma to wake up, even though there had been no change in him for two years?

Sai just smiled as he watched Naoko defend himself. In someways, Naoko was the same boy Sai knew from childhood and those parts he liked best with his little brother. He couldn't help but love his younger sibling even when he sometimes wanted to just smack him upside the head for being so careless with his relationships.
"Ah...well, I wouldn't want to bore you over lunch with them but maybe when you have time to sit down for a longer time and just talk business we could go over a few options. You really should be investing some of your income in your future and for retirement." Yes, he sounded way to business like for his own good at time; almost too mundane for his own good.
Sai also asked for to go boxes then ordered Kheer and Gulab Jamuns. "I think you like this, Ko-kun. It's sweet and kind of reminds me of...donuts." Sai was just a sucker for Indian food of all sorts and could have almost been a vegetarian if it weren't for the fact that he loved fish too much.
"Mm...so will you be going back to the studio after this? Or are you free for the day? Sounds like you have a lot of band issues to tend to." he said as the dessert dishes were set out before them. He picked up a spoon and immediately tasted the Kheer. "Oooh...Oishii desu yo!"

Naoko liked that idea, "Perhaps it would be a good idea... to save money, I mean... to invest it." the blond replied, taking a bite of one of the donut-like desserts. And just as his brother had predicted... he loved it. "After all, I don't spend too much money... at least nowhere near as extravagant as some of my fellow musicians." he continued taking another bite before sipping his chai.
The young man very nearly panicked however, at his brother's next question. "I... well..." Naoko set down the tea, thinking for a moment.
How was he going to phrase this? How could he say he was going to spend the day at the hospital?
"I... I hadn't exactly planned anything for the day but..., well, I was going to spend it," his voice dropped to a distracted whisper as he tried to avoid telling Sai this. "at the hospital..." He plunged forward, not wanting to give any time to let that subject dwell. "But I am supposed to meet Shou in the morning. We're going to discuss merchandising and his upcoming tour, so that should be fun."

Do you know what you got into Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do------------------------------------------------}:- SAI No escaping when I start .traeh ruoy nwo I ni m'I ecnO
The smile on Naoko's face when he sucked in the dessert was endearing to Sai. "You're so easy to feed, Ko-kun." He always could predict a few of Naoko's tastes in food and drink. The smile was worthy payment every time. "Alright, why don't we set something up for you in a few weeks if I'm in town. I can at least give you a few options to review." He didn't want to promise when he'd be available because these past few years everything was spur of the moment with....his alternate life.
But as the other topic finally reared its ugly head, Sai didn't say anything or comment about it. But for the briefest moments there was a quiet before he responded to the next words Naoko had rushed to find. "Ah, in the morning? Well, that's good to hear. I hope that you get everything with the band straightened out with Shou. Just don't get too distracted." No, he wouldn't talk about the man at the hospital...never wanted the name to pass his lips again. The memories were still haunting him.
What he couldn't finish of dessert, he had boxed. Glancing at Naoko, he smiled leaning in to caress Naoko's face just once. "Keep yourself out of trouble and let me know how the band issues work out. I wouldn't want to see you without work. Surprising that Smash isn't taking better care of its stars. I'd be careful Ko-kun."
With that, he got up and took his boxes, "We should do this again soon. I had a good time." Yes, the lunch had been filled with just small talk but...isn't that what Naoko always wanted. Just a brother...not anything more. He hoped Naoko would make some good decisions this time around but...that was always the uncertainty with his Ko-kun.
Turning away, he headed towards the door feeling like he had handled their visit as well as he could. But before exiting, he turned back and said, "Remember! Text Home..or phone. For goodness sakes don't let me get an earful from Mom about it." He laughed and waved, then walked out the door.

Oddly enough, Naoko found himself blushing, "I am not..." he replied, focusing on his tea and feeling embarassed about his brother's comment. He wasn't really that easy to feed... then again, there weren't very many foods that he disliked. It had always been a strange bond between the two brothers. Sai would order food, and Naoko would always eat whatever his brother had chosen. It wasn't that NAKO didn't know what he liked... it was just that his brother tended to remember the things Naoko enjoyed... and thus ordered for him. It had happened at home as well, when they were younger. If Sai made something, Naoko ate it. If Naoko was going to cook, he would always ask Sai what he wanted. As the young man sat there thinking about it... he realized that it was another flaw in his strange personality.
"The band comes first." Naoko spoke carefully, realizing that the 'distraction' which Sai mentioned was obviously Hayato. "Well, at the moment, Shou-san comes first, then the band, then everything else. As things look, I'll be touring with Shou soon, so I..."
Before he could say anything else however, Naoko's eyes widened slightly as he felt his brother's hand caress his cheek. The blush returned, and for a moment, the blond was completely speechless. "Sa... Sai..." He couldn't just let the other man leave like this... but what choice did he have? "I won't get into trouble." Naoko spoke, standing from the table as his brother left. "I'm not giving up on my music... even if, it seems, the studio's giving up on me. I..." shaking his head, NAKO smiled slightly. "I'd like us to get together again. Don't forget about the beach idea, niisan. This... was nice..."
Even as Sai threw one last remark, concerning the text message that Naoko needed to send to their mother, the blond couldn't help but think that Sai seemed... so much different. 'Sad...' the young man thought to himself. 'He seemed so sad... what an idiot I am...'
The entire way back to the hospital, Naoko couldn't help but think how big a fool he'd been to push Sai away. His brother had always wanted to help him... He'd been so worried when Naoko was kidnapped... and so protective afterward... And all Naoko had ever done was keep him at arms length. He wanted to be able to tell Sai anything, like he had as a kid... but somehow... after their most recent upset... well... Somehow, that feeling of safety was gone. Because now... now he had to pick and choose his words carefully to keep from opening newly closed wounds. Anything regarding Hayato was out of the conversation, though it was nice for once to not have to explain to his niisan about a bruise or two... Work was really the safest topic.
Sighing, Naoko opened the door to Hayato's hospital room. He saw the man laying in the bed and a spike of pain shot through his heart. Was he really going to spend his life waiting for the vocalist to wake up? After all... he was a lost cause... wasn't he?
It was a few moments after that... in which Naoko's amber gaze focused on the form of his most recent love interest... "Ry... Ryuu?" NAKO spoke in surprise, closing the door behind him quickly. "What the... I mean... you should be at home resting! What the hell are you doing here?"
Of course he didn't want to sound rude... but his concern for the violinist was overwhelming his manners completely. After all, Ryuu was supposed to be recovering. Wasn't he?
