"I think skateboarding sounds great," Kyo said. "I'd like another lesson and some practice." He heard some people whispering around them and he paled, wondering if they knew something about them.

Gikishou noticed and smiled. "They're whispering about me and my reputation,. not us."He told him quietly as he handed him the helmet and pads. He set down his old skateboard and got on his own, smiling. "Ready?"

Kyo nodded, getting on the old skateboard and being satisfied that it no longer wobbled. "So, why are they whispering about you, anyway?" he asked, a bit curious. "So far, your reputation's been getting better, so I'd like to know why they're whispering."

"My reputation's getting better, but they still remember how it used to be." He said, helping him move forward and riding along on his own. "Besides,they probably think I'm like Joni since I'm hanging out with you."

"Why? What's wrong with me?" Kyo asked, trying to keep his balance even so to avoid falling. "Do they think you're just pretending to be kinder than before?" There was a possibility of that. Usually people wouldn't expect such a change from someone with a bad reputation unless they've been there when the change began.

"Small, innocent-looking, probably can't fight... they think I might do something bad to you because of the change... like a mouse trap. It has cheese, to lure the mouse in. They think my personality as a nicer person is luring you in, and the actual trap is what they think I'll do. " He explained before rolling his eyes. "Which won't happen."

"Well, I know you won't do anything terrible, or the fireflies would have seen it, too," Kyo said, laughing a bit. "So I have nothing to worry about when it comes to you. Maybe you shouldn't worry about what others think you will do either." He smiled a smile that was a bit confident and sure of his thoughts, which was quite rare according to him.

Gikishou nodded. "And it would have gone against my wish too." he told him, smiling. He continued skateboarding with him and pulled a fairly simple rick just because he was bored.

Kyo would have clapped at the trick, but he was afraid of falling off the skateboard. "Well, it's reasonable. What kind of person in love would betray the object of their love, right?" he asked. "Or so that's what I'm wondering."

GIkishou smiled. "Exactly, but they don't know that little detail." He said, jumping onto a railing and sliding down it and landing on the concrete sidewalk again.

Kyo attempted to stop his board to clap, but while he tried doing so he tripped and fell onto the concrete, causing some specators to laugh.

Gikishou immediately stopped and went over to him,glaring at everyone who laughed as he helped him up. "You okay?" He asked, looking him over for any scratches or bruises.

"I'm fine," Kyo said, standing up. "Just a few scratches, but that's all." He seemed only a tiny bit annoyed that Giki-san was searching around him probably for any injuries. He wasn't that delicate, was he?

Gikishou sighed in relief. "I wanted to make sure nothing too serious was wrong." He said, smiling some. After all, he'd seen limbs broken, concussions, and many other wounds happen from skateboarding when there was an accident.

"Well, in that case, I appreciate the concern, but I'm sure there's no serious injury," Kyo said. "Looks like I'll need some more practice with stopping the skateboard, right?" He then dusted himself off and picked up the fallen skateboard.
