*finishes dry heaving and starts crying while washing her face and hands, thinking of all those poor babies, probably being held in horrible conditions and being given bottles full of liquor to drink and having to listen to awful music and being in darkened rooms all night and day with no one to sing to them or hold them or... change their poopy little diapers with compassion. She wipes her eyes and blows her nose and goes out to see if CPS is here yet. because if they aren't she's totally calling the police. Those babies need rescuing and who knows how long they've been here.*

*gives up on the Child Protective Services and reaches into her pocket for her phone. She really hates to do it, because she knows Dougherty is on the force and despite everything the people here are friends, but the call needs to be made. The babies are more important right now and they can't protect themselves. She reaches into her pocket and ...her cell phone isn't there.*
Did she set it down somewhere when she came in? When did she use it last? Is there still a landline here?
*she starts looking all over the bar thoroughly, checking her pockets over and over, checking the bathroom twice, wondering why the CPS aren't here yet, and finally decides she is going to have to check her office and all around town or borrow someone else's phone and hurries out with the horrid thought that maybe the CPS are busy with other baby neglect or abuse cases in the guild*
