One of the waiters enters the bar with Liada's order. The fox demon squees in delight and pays the good man for his trouble with a lovely tip and snaps her fingers to turn on the jukebox to enjoy some background noise while she ate. Refreshing her drink occasionally through her meal.

If you are thinking that you forced or somehow took advantage of Vassnta... which I know you are actually sweatdrop .... you are mistaken. In the discussion Quortek and I had with him when he... um... became "anatomically correct"... he had quite obviously expressed interest in... uh.... well..

Quortek of course informed him that you were married, though I am not sure we ever explained the implications of that to him...

The point is.... I believe, even if you had not done what you did.... he would likely have tried to initiate it himself eventually. And if it was not with you, it would have been with someone else. It was inevitable.
At least with you, it was someone he actually wished to be with.

It really was inevitable that he would have slept with someone eventually, though she still wasn't sure how to feel about knowing she ended his existence herself instead of it being someone else and wasn't really feeling any better about herself just from that ::

While I would not go as far as to say that it did not affect me at all.... the fact of the matter is....
... I have been... used... and taken advantage of... quite a number of times. *lets out a humorless laugh* I just do not seem to learn my lesson.
There are a few of those experiences that I can undoubtedly say were.... quite a bit mzild traumatizing than what you did. That does not make it any better, rilu'oh.... I have been taking out on you all my anger for instances that you are not responsible for.

You know.... even though I said it was to make you feel better... I was really just mostly trying to make myself feel better. He didn't tell me anything or even bother saying goodbye. He just... left. I don't even know how long he had already been gone by the time you told me. I know there wasn't exactly anything formal between us, but I would have thought that at least as a friend he would have wanted me to know. Instead, he left me hanging. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have ever known what happened.
He always had that "sex solves everything" approach, so I went with that. I thought doing it, if for nothing else, would prove that he's not the only one I could enjoy being with.....

I used you every bit as much as everyone else that's used you... and even worse, I did it even though you're my friend...
I always liked to think of myself as a good person.... but good people don't use their friends like that...
