Alright!
I have recently inherited, so to speak, an ungodly amount of packing foam boards and the box that the foam was packed in.
cardboards' alright, a bit squishy, but I have enough foam to try and make a warhound titan. anyone have tips?

If you make it, and if its made good, I may consider buying it.

eek
Well..uh...thanks!
That gives me a lil courage to try it.
need plans though..must draw up more plans!
any tips on where to find plasticard or polystyrene sheets?
and to anyone who's played apocalypse: whats a good set of weapons to give this thing?
Im thinking turbo laser and vulcan mega bolter.

I crafted a Demon Prince model, using the old Inquisitor model Brother Artemis, I filed off all of the Imperial regalia, replaced the head with the head from a Defiler, then added some Chaos Iconography. I used a Chaos Rhino hatch cover for a buckler, and crafted a massive scythe for a Demonic Weapon. After adding some green stuff for a cape, and some creative use of blue and brown ink, the result was quite interesting.

And why are there no pictures of this wonderful sounding monstrosity?

What did you use for the chainblades coming out from the back? It looks vaguely Nid-ish.

Right you are DarkElf!
they are genestealer arms, nubbed down to be hardly recognizable, and be more machine like.
Needless to say, he will only count-as a normal tech-marine with powersword and combi melta. Working on his fluff. Let's just say he refused to quit serving the Omnissiah when they told him he required the Emperor's blessing without his legs. rolleyes

when im building servo-arms, i use Necron Legs, as they look more mechanical. still, loving the Techmarine, can you take some more photos of him? you may have inspired me to get my Mechanicus army out again!

Yep, Finally got him ready to paint!
Decided to do more work, and greenstuffed their tabards. will have pics up tomorow, and I am sorry, but I can't get any close up shots, My skill with the camera is very very limited.
My tech priest will use Necron legs, And i will take three times as much time building him, as he is a self insert. lol.

A tiny conversion or subtle posing can do a lot to a model. This little guy has been getting me a lot of praise on Dakka Dakka.

Geeze lt. Brookman, A little really does alot!
Problem is..what vehicle is that? I wanna say Valk, but I can't tell...
And is Dakka Dakka good for beginners advice, or will a beginner get stomped on, totally and completely?
PostPosted: Thu Jul 09, 2009 2:44 pm
It's a Valkyrie minus tail booms and wings.

Dakka is a great place for everybody, be it beginner or expert. As long as you adhere to their rules you're okay. Best of all, everybody is there to help if you have an issue with anything.

If you're going to keep the model as plain and simple as that then I can see why people are so full of praise. It's a great idea and he does look very natural like that, are you going to convert one up for the other door as well?
