Finally got all the badges from a single region (oddly not an achievement though) so I have two questions.
1. Is there an Unova Elite Four? 2. Should I use weaker Pokemon for other regions' gyms that aren't at par with the others? I can go to Kalos where I have three gyms that are of the higher levels but if I was to go to Kanto, since I need to do a trade with Vig who is in Pewter City should I sweep Brock?
Actually, it is an achievement. It's called "Regional Master".

since no one caught onto the fact i was joking before.... can someone find and give avonlea's last post from tanabata to me?
So, with the new rules, are there any changes I have to make to Audrey? The only thing that's immediately coming into question is her translator earrings that are kinda choppy until several gyms down the line.

Right now, we have it so you can technically go and battle with/what you want, but we have discussed possibly just making it so that pokemon's items are constrained down to the general range of the gym leader's pokemon, to make things more even and challenging (kind of like in the battles where all pokemon are brough down to level 50, but with some possible flexibility)
We haven't implemented this yet, though, because we're still discussing it, and it hasn't come up much, but if you have any suggestions or recommendations on it, we'd be happy to hear it as it's still in the works : )

I had that issue in PHL only because of lazy leaders which I doubt I'd experience here but I thought I'd ask. Also do you remember those battles when you get the gym leader's Pokemon down to one HP only to have them use a damned full restore? Why don't these gym leaders use items as well?

You may resign from battles, yes, though you won't get the exp : )
Haha we have! And to be honest, we've discussed that, and certainly will be giving the Elite Four some, to make them challenging, but with so many other things we just haven't discussed it as much on how much of what to give to each gym leader of each difficulty ^^ We most likely will implement that system, either before, or when, we do the rematch teams
Just wanted to mention, since I noticed you both asks, Achievements do work retroactively (meaning if you accomplished them before they were announced, it still counts) : ) If evidence from PHL2 can be shown, we can accept those as well. Just be sure to have the necessary links for whichever achievements you want to claim rewards for ^^

In that case, I had an idea for battle damage calculation, with evolution having some bonuses to give some purpose to evolution beyond just looking cooler and a slightly different moveset.
Baby pokemon would actually be having a detraction, being that they're pre-base stage. Base-form/1st stage (not-evolved/evolved from baby pokemon) wouldn't have any bonuses. 1st-evolution/2nd stage pokemon would have a small bonus. 2nd-evolution/3rd stage pokemon would have a bigger bonus. Legengary pokemon might have an even bigger bonus.
My thought is the bonus in question would be adding/subtracting a fixed number, like, say, 5, 10, and 15, and removing 5 for baby pokemon (with a minimum damage of 5).
I'm also thinking of an HP bonus in a similar fashion.
