Ahoy!

I have been a Gaia member since 2007, so I even pre-date GC and thus have seen and experienced quite a lot here.
The recent developments however are the very first time that I am worried about Gaia and my fellow members
(mostly the members!).

Since a short period of time it's Grab-Bag after Grab-Bag, Flynn's Booty after Flynn's Booty and Gold Sink after Gold Sink, a Club Verge with perks here and there (nope, I am not a member!) and we call it even.
And I am not even to get started about messed up events because suddenly, those with a thick wallet, can cheat legitimately thanks to buying GC.

And that is not even what worries me the most...
No.
What worries me the most is the lack of interest in what my fellow community members have to say about these developments...
Never in my time as a Gaia member have I seen forums so swelled up with complaints.
And it pains me to see that, apparently, those members do not count anymore.
They are not heard....

So I am here to give my voice to those whom are not heard!
Which also includes me, truth be told.
Because I refuse to give up on Gaia without a fight.

And I couldn't have said that better. There has never been this much distrust and chaos in Gaia history. It's so hard to watch.

Hopefully we will be heard and get things back to semi-normal.

Hey, everyone! I've been on and off Gaia since 2004. I keep coming back since I'm an avid avatar maker (AT is my home forum).
I think a lot of things are changing and they don't have to be for the worse, but Gaia's new business approach has offended a lot of their intended consumer base--as that intended consumer base it is our responsibility to speak up and change things. I see people argue that this is "just how things work" and that's not the right attitude. Business practices often change with enough negative consumer feedback, lost consumers, and drops in sale. It's up to the Gaia community to force these changes.

OH HEY! I remember you! I tried to be a regular in the AT forum for a while but Gaia started making me angry and I kind of started not coming on anymore, plus I felt everyone already kind of knew each other really well already and felt awkward trying to butt in xDD

Mi nombre es Sharima. I am a 23 year old Canadian learning Spanish. Haha. I found this guild just a half hour ago when I was signing the petition to stop releasing Flynn's Booty and Chests. (wow Gaia that sounds wrong!!)

I opened my first account on gaia in I think 2003 named Dancing_Queen90 but in late 2006, it was hacked, so I made this new account. I LOVED Gaia SO much from the time I was 13 (2003) up until I was 19. That's when gaia became overwhelming with Gaia Cash and pushing us to buy items. Before, it seemed like it was an option to purchase with real money, now it seems like we have to in order to get anywhere! I don't like that. I miss how easy it was to make gold and purchase things and I do not believe that ANY game should ever have items in the game that are posted to purchase in the MILLIONS or BILLIONS.

My dream avatar from 2011 was 100k + a lil, now it's over 10 MIL gold... I just threw that idea out the freaking window. What happened? Did everyone become selfish greedy gamers or was the company screwing us over? That's why I decided to check out the Site forums and boy was I disappointed...

Alas, here I am. I want to make change!!!
