Focused, crystal eyes spun back and forth to the steals attempted and the bludgers thrashed around. One of those bludgers tumbled in his direction, but The chasers zipped quickly, and Daniel suceeded with a swift steal and darted back around with the follow up of a quick pass to Anita who was quickly bounded his way. He heard the distinct sound of a whistling wind racing towards one of his own chasers. It hurt his soul, to watch that, he should have been honing in to intercept but the first year would have to understand the ups and the downs of quidditch, if at least only once. And not to mention, he still had a duty there, high above the ground and defending the goals. When Jaslyn ripped around the field towards him, he spotted the glint of gold fluttering in her hands. ”Brilliant, Jazz--and yeah, release it and keep on practicing until I call to switch the players around.”
Oh s**t, he almost hadn’t even seen Anita as she spiralled in close to line up her shot. His eyes widened with the surprise and he tried to assume which way she’d shoot--and he was absolutely wrong. It shot straight beside him and through the hoops with a burst of wind. Quickly, he whipped around to catch the red ball before it hit the ground and then he spun around to face the game, his eyes searching. He’d thrown the ball to Ashley last, he supposed he should throw it to Dmitri this time. ”Good job mates, here Dmitri, catch.” He tossed the ball.
[OOC: 6+ Hour Rule; Keepers have 6+hours to post in games before it is assumed they missed their save. Same with Seekers, since if the opposing seeker does not post within 6 hours, you may post again. Chasers can steal again after 6+ hours if the opposing chaser has not posted. In other words, if there was no post in 6 hours, then you can post again with the appropriate action. The only exception is beaters, since they have to wait for the quaffle to move. Ashley groaned as a bludger slammed into his knee. He looked back at the girl that hit him, a mask of indifference on his face. Well, she could definitely hit. He'd missed the earlier pass to him, but decided to make up for it now. Catching the ball from Dmitri, he took off down the pitch himself, He was determined to get this position, and wasn't going to let someone take him out this soon.

His thoughts were bitter, but he wasn't stupid enough to say them aloud. "Aye!" This time, he eyed his target, then grinned. It was someone he hadn't aimed at, so he went with it. He was careful going about the Bludger this time, but lined his shot, aiming at Ashley. His face was a mask of determination, eyes steely in frustration.

Claire grinned as she saw Ashley get hit, he seemed to shrug it off though, which...considering made her growl some.
That was true...she needed to get better at this, when she noticed Darius compliment her, she just did a silent nod. As she looked around for her next target, she felt a bludger slam into her leg and she winced.
That....That was painful. Looking down she frowned as she tried to shrug it off, her leg was bruised....In anger she swung her own bat at a bludger aiming it at Dmitri.
Claire would need to get used tot his if she wanted to play.
...There were ways too.
