FUKI KOSAKURCHI "W care an act as we see fit, to show our careless wit" Fuki smiled as she held her giggling in. However she couldn't help but giggle when Shun talked to his sister. "It kinda is actually." she smiling. She stopped giggling but the smile didn't leave. "Well you better get your brain working soon." she said turning slightly serioius. AYA KOSAKURCHI "We fall into slumber but are never graced with dream filled nights"
Aya watched as Maki left the room to fetch Ururu and Kichi. He looked at Kino when he asked who Sailo was. "Sailo is Maki's fighter, husband, and our brother-in-law." he said a** he thought back to the wedding. It was about a year after Maki and Sailo graduated from the school. Sailo proposed to her on the first day of their senior year. Well no one objected.

~~Ururu Hisaki *Sleepless*~~ "I-I think..." The little boy started off. Ururu braced himself for the outburst that he knew was to come...
"I think that you're wonderful, amazing, incredible, make me wish that I could be better in some way so that I could possibly deserve someone like you, and wish that I wasn't just a shy little kid who was lucky enough to be your sacrifice!"
Ururu was speechless as he sat there motionless, staring down at the little boy, who was blushing and looking at the ground. His face was pure shock...he hadn't expected anything like this...
"Whenever I see you, or feel you hug me it feels like I'm flying, and I don't think there's anyone on earth I'd rather be with than you, sleepless or not."
Ururu hugged the boys waist tightly, reveling in his words. He had been scared lately, that Kichi didn't want to be with him. It had been eating away at his mind for awhile now..yet, with a few words, Kichi was able to make his worries seem so insignificant.
"But... if you want to just stay as sleepless... I understand..."
Ururu started to laugh. He didn't want Kichi to think that he found his worries 'funny'....that wasn't the reason why he was laughing. It was mostly because of himself...
He had been so worried about his own feelings, that he hadn't taken the time to actually think if Kichi was feeling the same thing. He had been thinking that maybe he wasn't into the relationship, when Kichi had been thinking the same thing about him. They were more alike than he thought...
Ururu calmed his laughed as he pulled the little boy's frame closer, and began to nuzzle on his neck. " It seems we're more alike than I thought. Kichi...why wouldn't I want to stay as 'sleepless'? Haven't I given you enough proof to show you that I love you? If not, then let me know and I can come up with new ways.." Ururu smirked before he continued. "You probably didn't know this...I wasn't ready to talk to you about it yet.....but I've been alone all my life. My parents died sometime when I was just a little jid, and I've been in and out of orphanages ever since then. I didn't mind, seeing as I had a nice place to stay...but one thing that I learned quickly was that I was alone...and probably would be for the rest of my life. That is...until I met you." He smiled warmly. "I've never know how it felt to love and be loved back...so to here the words that you've just said to me, makes me happy beyond compare. I don't care want happens...I'm never letting you go..." Ururu took the boys chin in his own, pushing his face up to stare into his own, and leaned down for a kiss...
"Ururu~~ Kichi~~ class is starting." Ururu was calm as he sighed heavily, though the blush on Kichi's face was comical. No doubt he was embarrassed because Maki had seen them...
"Hai, Hai~ Geez, class just had to start now.." Ururu grumbled, feeling somewhat moody that they had been interrupted (though not at Maki of course).
Ururu helped Kichi up and stood up, dusting himself off. "So ready to go back to class Kichi?" Ururu grinned down at him. A sudden thought occured to him as he looked at Maki. "Hey...How'd you know where to find us? I don't think the roof is the bathroom..." Ururu grinned.

Maki laughed as glimpsed at the scene she was interrupting. Just like a manga. she thought giggling inwardly "Sorry." she said trying to hold back the giggles. She held the door open as she looked at Kichi's flushed face. "Kichi reminds me of a tiny Fuki." she muttered aloud not caring if they heard her or not. She looked up and took a deep breath. "Much better than the suffocating class room." she said smiling though glad the rain seemed to have stopped momentarily.
At Ururu's question she gave him a sly smile. "Every teacher knows when a student is planning to ditch class or go to the roof. They know but act like they don't. Its only because half of your teachers done the same thing many times when they were students. Even I skipped at times and dragged Rauko and Azreal with me at times. So its why students get away so much with teachers." she said grinning.

Kichi still needs to post, though I don't think that's what we're waiting on.
I'm curious as to when these Mock Battles are going to start also. I'm getting pretty antsy too O.O lol.))

I am waiting on.. Nil to post. That is what is probably holding us up right now.
I can't wait either. Sadly, I do not want to move on without Nil.}

Kichi Mahiko †† sleepless †† Kichi heard the laughter and his ears drooped even further. Laughing at the very notion that- Ururu was nuzzling his neck, causing hims to close his eyes and shiver softly. He listened to everything Ururu said and felt his worries lessen. ruru..." He felt his chin being gripped gently, and they were just about to kiss... and then they were interrupted. He blushed insanely and looked down as e was helped up. "Th-thanks for l-letting us know..." He said quietly.

After getting Saito all cleaned up and changing into something more comfortable Verikai stood in a pair of jeans, and a loose purple shirt that buttoned. He slipped on a pair of sneakers and ran a quick brush through his hair. Reaching out he lightly kissed Saito's head before he looked towards the clock. They had taken longer then he had anticipated. Verikai's house was nothing special, at least in his opinion. It was a two floor house that was fully furnished and had rather expensive carpet and decorations. It was a mostly black and white based house that was fully stocked with anything a teenager could possibly want. It lacked the luster that a lived in home did, and the warmth of parents but it was nice for most people. He sighed as he looked towards Saito once more and kissed his forehead, "We should probably head back. Aren't there fights today?" he asked as he looked down at the little sacrifice. He didn't know if he was ready for this, and with Saito being wounded he didn't know how much the boy would be able to handle. That meant that a bulk of the battle was going to be dependent on him.
Reaching over Verikai slipped his fingers through Saito's hair he leaned down and kissed Saito's lips softly. He felt the bandages and pet his forehead slightly, "Is your head okay Saito?" he whispered as he pet his hair. "Does it hurt?" he asked as he pet the side of his face. Verikai had no real understanding of pain. He had been in pain most of his life so living in it a little longer was nothing new to him. Being a fighter came with it's dealings of pain. He learned to brace himself against the lashes so that he wouldn't need to depend on his sacrifice to steal away all the pain. He walked towards the door and placed his hand out to the boy. "Come on. We need to get back."
Moving out the door Verikai paused looking up at the sky his pink ears flattening against his head as he frowned, something felt off about today and he wasn't able to pin point what he was feeling.

□ □ □ ↘ No end to sorrow, caused by the same endless f e a r s... ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄『Saito sat on a comfy looking bed (which he assumed to be Verikai's), as he waited of his Fighter to change and get ready. It hadn't taken them long to reach his house, at which point, Saito was amazed. He hadn't even asked Verikai anything about his own home situation....but to see that he was doing very well for himself...was surprising, to say the least. It had taken them a while to figure out what he could wear, seeing as his cloths were old (and it wasn't like he could go home), so It was well past the time for class once he was finally dressed. It was about an hour later when the two sat side by side on the bed.
Saito closed his eyes as Verikai kissed his forehead. "We should probably head back. Aren't there fights today?" He opened them to see Verikai staring down at him. He had been so relaxed and happy sitting there with him...that he had forgotten about the Mock Battles...
"Oh...yeah." Saito said reluctantly. He felt so comfortable. The feeling was something in which he hadn't felt in a long time, so he wanted to bask in it a little more....but alas, they had school.
His face grew deep crimson when Verikai's fingers slipped through his hair as he leaned down and gave him a soft kiss."Is your head okay Saito?" He whispered in his ears, sending shivers throughout his body."Does it hurt?"
Saito held Verikai's hand gently as he rested his face into his other. "It's fine. I actually feel much better from last night. Guess sleep was all I needed...though the fact that you stayed with me helped a lot too." He smiled warmly. The truth was that his head really did still hurt somewhat...but he wasn't going to tell Verikai this. He didn't want to worry him anymore; He also didn't want to be a burden to him. With the Mock Battles coming up, he needed to be strong...so that he could improve himself and be a sacrifice that Verikai could be proud of. He was not[/] going to be a burden to him. He wouldn't allow himself to, no matter how hurt he was...
Saito let go of his hand as Verikai stood up and fixed his shirt, while walking to the door. "Come on. We need to get back." Saito smiled as he stood up and grabbed his outstretched hand. "Alright."
=============
The two walked down the street holding hands as various people bustled about, some on their way to work, others shopping. Saito stared at Verikai's face curiously. He was worried as to why Verikai had frowned earlier? Was it because he was worried about today's assessment? Worried...that he would drag him down? That was what Saito feared most...
The school came into view as the two walked through the front gates.
"...I'm sorry....if I burden you today..." Saito murmured, his eyes towards the ground. He would be surprised if Verikai heard him, since he had said it at a whisper...but it was true. 』 ⋙OCC: Finally got around to making a post layout = w =; lol. AND WELCOME BACK AUTUMN! Kichi Mahiko †† sleepless †† Kichi walked with him, swallowing his nervousness. It was just a stupid test. He knew all of the materials, and he'd done it once before. Granted he'd nearly fainted, but he had been through it once. Kichi gave up on reassuring himself. No amount of logical thinking could dispel how absolutely terrified he was. He realized that Ururu had asked him a question. "I-If the urge to run and hide can count as exxcited." He said in a pointless attempt to ease his anxiety with humor.

The walk was silent and longer then the boy expected. The tension in the air made him rather confused as he eased though the street holding Saito's hand in his own. He looked like a father walking with his child. Their height difference was rather visible. And if only Verikai didn't have his ears maybe the father song idea would work. His tail, however, flickered behind him as his ears perked forwards listening to everything that was happening around him. He enjoyed listening and relaxing as he walked, walking was something he did often on his own with his headset as his companion. Now he actually had a living, breathing companion. He glanced down at Saito on occasion watching the tiny little friend behind him move forward and walk with such a cute trot beside him. He ran his fingers along the other's as they reached the school he blinked hearing a small mumble from the boy, and judging by his posture something was bothering him. He stopped walking and knelt down as he was at eye level with the boy before him.
Reaching out Verikai ran his fingers along Saito's face and turned the sacrifices face up towards his own. He rested his forehead against Saito's and closed his eyes. He knew their bond was deeper then what Saito expected. He could feel the disturbance in their bond, and that startled him and caused tiny shivers to run down his spine. He closed his eyes tighter as he released them for a minute his large purple orbs shimmered as he looked rather curious at the man, "What's wrong now. If your head still hurts I have some aspirin or we can request a rematch and I can take you back to my place to reset. Or is it something else?" he asked his voice a gentle whisper. His lips were close enough to Saito's face to kiss, his breath warm and bouncing off the boy's lips. He closed his eyes and relaxed his hands slipping down to wrap around the boy's waist and rested on his lower back. He closed the space and rested his lips against the boy's ear.
Blowing out, the fighters breath danced across the boy's ear before he smiled, "You can't fool me Saito...I know somethings wrong and if you don't tell me I might just have to do something terrible." he whispered as he nibbled on the boy's ear slightly his fingers slipping form his back to his stomach where he started tickling the boy. He smirked slightly before he stopped and kissed the side of Saito's head. "You have to trust e love...Or else our bond can't get stronger and I can't get stronger." he whispered. He knew how important a strong fighter was for a sacrifice, and that was what Verikai wanted for him and Saito. He looked towards the school and then looked towards the boy in front of him. "Are you ready?" he asked as he kissed his forehead and stood up tall. Pulling Saito into his chest he moved towards the school and through the gates.
[( I am glad to be back :: snuggles xD :: I missed Saito! I just had some major computer malfunctions recently and lost a semester worth of work I had to redo so life was hell but it's all fixed now so I have RP time again xD. )]

Maki waited by the door for the two. She couldn't help but laugh at Ururu's shocked expression. "I take slight offense to that. I'm only three years older than you Ururu, six years older than the twins." she said with a slight pout. "I graduated three years ago to. I'm also a part-time college student mind you." she said in a slightly joking, mostly serious tone. "Yea we went to school here. The classroom you guys are using now is the exact same one we had also. Except your class is better." she said laughing.
Maki fell silent when she heard hush whispering. Her hearing is acute which was needed for for several things. She walked to railing of the roof seeing Verikai and Saito. "You two head back to class first and I'll be there shortly" she said as she headed down to the floor level to the main doors.

Reaching out one hand, Jin took Azreal's offered own. "Then... may our friendship and our partnership, deepen the other and vice versa." he spoke with a soft smile, his grip on the Sacrifice's hand strong and yet not crushing. Sincere... pure and simple. There was something about Azreal that put Yuujinchou's entire being, mind and body, at ease. He felt shy and embarrassed sure, but he usually did around anyone... but with Azreal, the young man realized that he could speak his mind and not be looked at as some freak... not be judged as inferior or weak. Azreal had seen him strong, even though Jin had problems remembering that time completely... and he had seem him weak. Jin's smile faltered slightly, the young man looking down at their clasped hands. He released Azreal's, before suddenly finding the carpet more interesting than anything else. "My brother... He was responsible for what you saw in that fight, Azreal." Yuujinchou whispered softly. "I don't really know how to answer your question from earlier... but I do know that my brother trained me before disappearing... and apparently most of that training is locked away in my subconscious mind. It's... like a light switch, you know?" icy eyes looked up to focus on Azreal, a gaze that was just begging to be understood. "On turns me into that... that thing... and off... well... I'm hardly any good to you in a fight like I am now." 'I'm just frightened that I might be unable to turn it off again next time...'
Strangely enough, Ryoji didn't say anything to that. Mainly because Rauko-sensei had decided to start class... Violet eyes focused on the teacher, light glinting off his glasses as he pushed them further up the bridge of his nose.
"Brothers?" One simple word... Yet a word that Ginyuushijin couldn't recall hearing Verin utter before. "I was under the impression that this set of brothers was of interest to me alone, Verin-san? An interest in the sense that I am closely watching the Fighter of one of the brother's..." He sipped his tea, hoping to garner a bit of information from that slight slip. 'If Verin is after those brothers... then this makes things all the more interesting... especially when the reconditioning of my dear little Jin takes place...' he thought to himself.
~ ~ ~ (((OOC: Generic "why I've ninjaed for 3 weeks or so" reply to everyone... gomen! SOOOO Work kicked my a**! Yes, that's right! Two waitressing jobs that had me working mostly nights... and since I have dialup and only get online at night (to keep the phone clear) it was pretty damn impossible to get online much to my own frustration. THEN... I had to have some minor toe surgery so those days, while at home, I couldn't sit AT the computer because it hurt. Today I FINALLY had the evening off... thus I'm alive! I've soooo so sorry for disappearing like that. I was just getting home around 1am and would have to be at work at 10:00am or 10:30am the next morning so I'd basically get home and go to bed... I haven't been able to watch anime, to get online, to draw, to write... ANYTHING! Thus I am insanely sorry... I've just been exhausted lately... though it looks like I have less nights to work this and next week, so I should actually be around! Plus... I don't have excruciating toe pain anymore so I can actually sit at the computer for once.)))

--Relentless-- "Relentless to survive, Relentless to protect -- Relentless in life."
Verin wanted to chuckle. This was the first time he brought up the brothers and that he was after them. Then again, it was a secret that his family has been holding ever since the beginning of the war. His father knew that the brothers were born and knew that Verin would be the one to go after them. It was the final touch. Father against father and sons against son. Only one would become victorious, only one would lose everything. Verin wasn't going to be the one losing, not against his enemies. "Of you alone? Have you been playing this game blindly? I may not want the brothers for my own purposes, but I do want them either dead or too weak to fight." The brothers would go done once one of them was gone, that much was inevitable. "Make the brothers weak and I shall have won the game. Checkmate." Verin smirked, as he sipped the tea, loving how his mind was playing out the final moments of the fight. Oh so perfect. Oh so wonderful. Oh so sweet.
"And may we strengthen each other as well." Azreal agreed, matching Jin's grip with his own. It would be the first pact between the two, and though it maybe viewed as small by onlookers, it meant a lot to Azreal, and probably to Jin as well. As the other removed his hand, Azreal returned his own to his side, smiling softly still. That was, until Jin started to speak again. His brother created that other side? No wonder it has been locked up for so long. The training must have been harder than it should have been and with the disappearance, Jin could have easily locked it deep within himself, turning his back on the world he was introduced to. The information was important to Azreal so he could help that other side come out, even if it was just enough that Jin felt more useful without relying on that other side. It was just like Azreal and Rauko. They had two sides, one that their father punched into them, quiet literally too, and one that every one seen. "I know what you mean. You aren't the only one with this switch. I have learned how to control mine, and if you want, I can help you to learn how to control yours or, better yet, fuse the two sides together. Of course, the course will be hard as you may have to relearn everything again." Azreal stated, his face calm while his eyes spoke multitudes. He understood Jin perfectly, as his brother turned into a dangerous and vicious fighter when either truly pissed off or if he feels that Azreal or himself has been threatened. "I can teach you every thing again easily, but how to control that other side and that switch, it will be a hard way, as you will more than likely find many walls. I will be with you, as I have already been through this before." There was nothing harder than learning how to control a side that has been locked away for years, especially when it feels as if it needs to be out in order to keep one alive.
{I am sorry to hear that. I hope your work stops kicking you in the rear and that your toe gets better. I am glad that you are alive and well. I understand how that goes, being exhausted, and I do hope that things get better for you.}
