When she got close enough she hugged Sakura and waved for her to sit back down as she went behind the bar to fix herself up a drink. Oh god I know how it is to be busy with work. the Lab has been moving like a beehive to get all those New Years wishes granted. I've been well enough though things have been so insane this last year! What about you? Did you have a wonderful holiday at least despite work? She reaches up for the Apple Pie brew she had imported and grabbed a glass for herself before turning to face Sakura again.

cat_3nodding "I sure did, Saph n I made another new friend on when we were traveling so now she has a playmate. It's a bit different than expected but the three of us got to see the northern lights" Sakura replied as she curled her tail happily at the memory of their New Year. She then took a sip of her drink and set her glass back down. "So what's been happening here since I've been gone? Anything interesting?" she asked

Liada nearly choked on her drink when she was asked that but then remembered that Sakura had been gone for a VERY long time. Oh dear lord what HASN'T happened?? Lessee....where to begin....Taking a sip of her glass and thought for a moment before she listed off things that she could remember. Well for starters...
1. Psy is pregnant and we found out at a later point that she is having twins. 4laugh
2. Kat got possessed by a cursed knife from Draa and so we went on a across the globe to go find her and then undo the curse. stressed
3. Leko's mom took over Ayami's body while Leko and I were on a quest to find Hecate to find our own source of magic. twisted
4. Draa has now turned into a genderless being called Vassnta after being baptized by Ayami before she was taken over. confused
5. Psy's brother Franco has become part owner of the bar here since Psy's gonna have kids soon so now he's stalking all over the place trying to find me which I assume is mostly trying to find Anira through me the poor elf. rofl
Um....I think that's it.....I may have missed a few things but yea, yup that's about it. 3nodding

Wow I have been out of it for awhile cat_sweatdrop I hope that my newest family member doesn't scare anyone...Still it's nice to hear that things seem to be as normal as ever cat_3nodding " she replied happily and digested the information. "I still have a set of files that I got from Ebony awhile ago before I left for work...she said something about it being important for me to read through it and not let anyone see...I don't suppose you happen to know of a way or place I can read them without being spied on?" she asked

Liada nodded when Sakura took in all the news and then smirked when she mentioned her predicament with her files. Naturally, just come to the Den. We have so many wards up to protect it you couldn't have a fly hover around without our knowing. Plus you're more than welcome to stay the night if the file reading has you stay up a little late. 3nodding

Yea I'm getting worn out myself, I'll talk to you later hun. Safe trip back home. Giving a final wave Liada opened a portal leading to the Den and slipped into it. The doorway fading in a matter of seconds after the last tuft of her tail slips in.

Sakura waved goodbye as Lia returned home and then finished washing her glass then turned to collect her book. She then considered leaving a little note to let the others know she was back in town and then placing her right hand above the bar counter, she created a small piece of crystal that held a delicate script etched into it.Quote: I heard about the twins Psy! *pulls into the parking lot behind the establishment, parking in her usual spot. After grabbing a few things from the trunk of her car, she walks to her personal back entrance, scanning and then unlocking the door.
Once inside, she secures the door behind her, dropping the items she took from the car amongst other things that have been there for months. Looking around, she shakes her head at having again let her place get dusty and the area around her backdoor cluttered.
Sighing, she walks around the crowded area and heads for the bedroom to change and start her New Year cleaning*

*She went to the salon today and got herself some color, an "undo" and a manicure just cause she was starting to feel a bit……frumpy. Her new stylish maternity clothes were done in the nick of time and she has been looking stylish despite her protruding form which she's not necessarily used to yet. neutral Her husband started a brand new position after the first of the year at the GGG Police Department as the head of the detective division. Relieved he's taken himself off of the day to day grind and having to be a respondent to lord only knows what out there, she still has yet to hear what he thinks so far. Realizing its all brand new to him and he's most likely exited about it, she's not surprised he's dived right in and she hasn't seen much of him lately. Perhaps when he's settled in, he will be more available for her and his children. She texts the JD for some tea.*

Making her way through the 3G, Sakura hums a quiet tune to herself and heads through towards the club as it's been awhile since she was able to enjoy some good music.
