She needs to be at home, ya know. I'm on leave for a while until Special Ops training starts. I was hoping to catch up with Dougherty, but I'm sure he's busy as all get out these days. lol *chuckles at the thought and takes another pull of his cigar. He punches another song from the jukebox. Kyle takes down the message and he takes his leave to head to the local Sports Bar where he knows he can pick up one of the ditzy blonde waitresses to score.* cool

Anira walks up to the building that was MW. Receiving a message from Liada on her phone she asked if she could meet with Katana to work on the Christmas Decorations. Anira happily agreed since it one of her favorite things to do at this time of the season and she rarely gets to spend girl time with most of the other ladies when not at home or at work. Taking a look at the outside of the building she thought about how she could dress this up for the occasion. Pulling out a glass vial with a special mixture of one of Liada's potions, she pours the contents on each side of the main doorway and steps back putting the vial away. Chanting a small spell, more like a sweet song than anything; the small puddles of liquid begin to glow softly and take shape. The forms continued to grow and shape as Anira sung softly without stop, shaping the image in her mind as her hands sculpt and tweak at points here and there. When she felt that it was finally finished Anira ended the spell and viewed her work. As the result the contents of the vial became an ice archway surrounding the doorway she had also added two ice sculptures which also trailed off to create a small vine of ice along the ground and around the building. Satisfied Anira went inside to meet up with Katana.

Once Anira was inside and gave a nod in greetings at the goons in the front. She found Katana was already at the bar making herself her usual coffee and gave a smile at the woman. Removing her scarf and gloves and placing them on the bar. How are you today Ms. Katana?
I'm doing alright. Hauk and I got back the other day from a weekend in New York and it was so lovely there! I got a lot of ideas for decorating this place while I was there and got a lot of my Christmas shopping done too. sweatdrop
That is most wonderful. And I am at your disposal for assisting in the decorating. The elf said giving Kat a hug and then looking about the place. Where would you like to begin?

After some discussion they decided to begin with the tree and they walked over to the spot near the foyer of the building. They decided to place the tree on the left hand side of the stairway that would be facing PB and Anira pulled out of her bag a medium sized pot and placed it where Katana pointed. Again with chanting a spell the pot began to shake and teeter until a sprout grew from the dirt inside the pot and continued to grow until it was a full sized tree. Pulling over the box of decorations both the girls spent the next hour getting all the ornaments organized, testing the lights and so forth until the tree was bright with the spirit of the season. They moved on to the mantle of the fireplace and made sure to get into little details such as the stockings for all the MW ladies. Kat made her personally to place the mistletoe in various places where no one would obviously see and then the centerpieces placed at the booths and tables while Anira took care of decorating the garland around the bar and the stairway of the foyer. On all the tables they switched off with white silk tablecloths with red runners and vise versa before placing the centerpieces on them. After another hour or so of decorating the girls packed up all the empty boxes and had the staff take them to storage while they admired the hard work and to see if they had missed anything. Looks like everything is set. Kat gave a nod of approval and moved one of the centerpieces a centimeter. Indeed, you always have a good taste of decor Ms. Katana. Shall we go have a late lunch together? Sounds great to me Nira. Lemme just get my coat and things.Once they bundled up for the cold the ladies walked out of the bar and off to their luncheon.

Ready for a night out to herself Anira strolls into the bar nodding to the goons as she passes them. Feeling a bit hungry first she heads to the doors of the JD to have something to eat.

After a small bit of food and relaxing a bit, Anira came back into the bar and admired the decorations she and Kat had worked hard to put up. She still had decorations to finish up with Hauk and Liada's help back at the Den, still many cards to make, and much more things to do. But tonight, tonight was going to be a night of enjoyment. Pouring herself a glass of elven wine from the rack she goes over to the Jukebox and hits a light melody And then sat down back at the bar to sip her drink.
