Liada came through the main doors of the bar waving to the Italian goons that were still on guard and went to make herself a drink. Only to find that there were several bottles of sake left around. confused Shrugging her shoulders she looks through some of them seeing which one looked better to try. Picking one that the bottle had the shape of a cat she used her magic to hover the remainder of them to add to the wall of booze. Pulling out a shot glass she began to pour herself her first glass of the night and pondered on her thoughts.

*passes through the main bar to the Jade Dragon in order to get Miro something. She didn't ask him to or really say much of anything at all to him since Halloween, but he thought maybe she might appreciate the gesture at least. He orders her the same thing he had those other times, then takes a seat back in the bar as he waits. Though he notices Liada there, his mind is elsewhere and he doesn't think to wave or say hello*

Liada's ears twitch when she hears footsteps and turns in time to see Vassnta go into the Jade Dragon. She wondered how she should talk to him now knowing that he was Draa. She remembered what Icy said about how he completely seemed to have forgotten everything about that life so there was no point in trying to force it. When he came back into the bar and sat down she noticed that he seemed distracted. Giving her best smile she turned to him and raised her shot glass. Evening Vass, how goes it? Care to join me in a drink while you wait? 3nodding

I don't really eat or drink, but I will sit with you a while.
*gets up from the table he had been at and takes up a seat by the bar. He's really quiet at first, but seeing as how there's someone else to talk to for once, he thinks maybe Liada could help him figure things out*
I'm not sure what the best way to introduce this topic would be, so I'll just ask: How does one make somebody happy? The things I thought made people happy don't seem to work....

Liada raises an eyebrow to Vassnta's question and rests her chin on her hand that is holding her glass. Contemplating on how to answer. Well you certainly know how to ask the bombshells don't ya? sweatdrop She takes a sip of her glass and thinks for another moment.   Happiness can be one of the hardest things to gain for yourself, let alone to make another person happy. It comes in many forms for people so its not surprising that what you thought could make that person happy turned out not to be. Sometimes to make a person happy could be in the form of selfless actions, it could be in words, or in some cases for people it could be in small material things. Its always different so the hardest part is in the hunting. Might I ask what brought this on?

I think Miro is unhappy and that it's probably because of something I did. I tried to ask her what I did that was bad, but she doesn't want to talk about it. She's been locked away in the bedroom all week. I can sometimes hear her moving around in there and she'll turn on the radio for a while on occasion, but she only comes out to eat and use the bathroom.

Liada nods her head and listens to ex-dark elf as she sips her sake. She doesn't know what on earth could have made Miro upset but she felt she would be prying too much if she asked him what all he think he did to upset her. Huh, well that is a brain-stumper there since I almost never see Miro sad or upset of anything other than when she's going on rants about the dragon in the JD is gonna get her. Which I dunno where she got that from really.
Pouring herself another glass she turns in her stool to lean against the bar. I won't ask what you think you did that might have upset her, and if she's that uncomfortable talking about it then it might be tied to something too personal for her. The best thing to do might be to just let her be until she's back to her normal state. Sometimes its not good to push a matter for someone who's unwilling to open their hearts on certain things in their lives. In the meantime maybe it would help to do small things around the apartment like cleaning, or if you know how to, bake yummy things. Miro loves sweets so maybe the smell of baked goods or sweet foods might lure her out of her room and ease her up a bit. 3nodding

I left her alone last time she was upset because I didn't know what to do. It felt like a long time and no one should be unhappy for that long.
*he smiles a bit at Liada's last suggestion*
She does like sweets ^_^ I don't think I know how to make things like that, but I could try. Maybe something will occur to me once I get started like some other things. Oh!
*slides off his stool and goes over to the espresso machine, starting on a steamer*
I could bring her back one of these. ^_^ I know Draa liked them a lot at least and I understand he liked sweets too.
