Pulling up to the back way of MW, Hauk parked his bike and placed his helmet on the seat and went around the building and entered in through the front doors. Seeing that no one was around he went to the bar to get himself a quick cold one before heading into the club to start his shift.
He checked his phone for the upteenth time and still no word from Kat. It was getting to the point now to where her phone went to the message of it being unavailable as if the number was disconnected. Liada told him she would scry for her but that still didn't ease his worries at all. He didn't even think of asking Kyle about her since she worked with the man and if it wasn't for Liada suggesting to talk to him he wouldn't have thought of it still. Pulling out a bottled apple cider he opens the cap and takes a swig.

*Goes up to the Main Bar to find Kyle. She stops at the door of her office when she sees Hauk. eek Casually going up to him she sits next to him and tries to be calm.* So. Did you just get back? Is Kat unpacking? Did you two have a good time? neutral *She crosses her legs and waits for his response…feel out the situation.*

Hauk was startled out of his thoughts when Psy sat down next to him. Why was he asking her if Kat was unpacking?  Did she not know about her being gone? He didn't know how he was gonna break it to her but it was gonna be now or never. Back from where? I haven't seen Kat in weeks and she won't answer my calls or texts. I came to her apartment one night after work and she wasn't there, and when I came back another time there were some of her things gone and a suitcase. Maybe you can tell me where she went off to? sad It was hard to keep the disappointment and hurt out of his voice. Taking another swig of his cider Hauk stares into the wood of the bar.

*Stares into Hauk's eyes as she listens and crosses her arms under her bosom as she furrows her brow. She listens intently and tries to judge if he's indeed sincere or if he's just trying to play her. stare She's silent for a good long time, examining him and his facial expression to see if he lets anything slip under the intentional uncomfortable silence as her stare could bore a hole right through him. stare She finally raises an eyebrow and drums her long, manicured fingernails on the top of the bar remaining completely and eerily calm.* What did you do? What did you do to make her disappear? stare

Hearing her accusation Hauk turns to look at his boss with slightly wide eyes, wondering if she was truly serious. Seeing her stern face he slams his bottle on the bar and stands up with anger boiling inside him. eek ME!? How could you honestly think that I had something to do with this?! stressed I have checked up on her place time and time again since she's been gone, I've been calling and texting and leaving her endless messages without any response, I have been making sure that her place stays tidy while she's gone and STILL making sure to do my job at the club even though I've been worried senseless about her!!! gonk I have no idea where she's gone, why she's left or even if she'll be back without so much of even a NOTE left from her! scream So if you know where she is please tell me so I can follow her and drag her fiery a** back here for a proper explanation!!!! scream
He then finally remembers that Liada told him that Psy was pregnant and that she needed to keep low on the stress. Sighing heavily he sits back down and puts his head in his hands. I'm sorry, I haven't really slept much since she's been gone and I'm pretty much at my wits end here. I didn't mean to be so curt Harskarinna

*Watches his response and raises her eyebrows. Checked on her place, cleaned, calling and texting, worried senseless, explanation? Either he's REALLY good or he really cares?  He hasn't even been sleeping well.  That's so sweet! 4laugh She decides to confide in Hauk since he seems to be genuine.* I actually just found out about it last night from Kyle. I was hoping she was with you. Its really not like her to just up and leave unless something has happened. I've alerted Icy and asked for security footage of the last time she was here where she would be on camera. I've also alerted the Police and I'm sure by now there is a missing persons alert out for her. The police will most likely be nosing around here and asking all sorts of questions. *She puts her hand on Hauk's* I'm sorry to have put you through that. I had to make sure. sweatdrop

Placing a hand on Psy's he looks up at her with a weary face. I honestly don't blame you for that. Its not like I've given you much reason to trust me in our few encounters. Leaning against the bar he sighs again.
Rev said she would scry for Vilkat and knowing her, she might be able to find something. I dunno if the police will be of much good if she's purposely hiding. You know as well as I do if she doesn't want to be found she can make it happen. She would have to be really sloppy for the cops to find her so easily, no offense meant to your husband. sweatdrop

*She shrugs.* It depends on her state of mind really…the state in which she left. If she was extremely upset or distraught, perhaps she missed something. However if she had her wits about her, then most likely not. I don't know what her frame of mind was or if it was business or personal. The security footage may give us a good read, but maybe not.
If she's purposely hiding, it may be best to let just her be. I don't keep people here, they stay of their own free will. I would hope she could at least let me know she was leaving. She is a good friend. Like the sister I never had…at least I think of her as one. sad *Gets a puzzled look on her face.* What is…scry?

Hauk thought about the first part that Psy mentioned. He remembered back to a conversation he had about Kat with Anira. He looked back at Psy with a face of concern. You may be right about Vilkat's state of mind. Anira mentioned that when she talked with her last her finger seemed injured, like she cut it on something or what not. Could it be possible that she might have gotten a mind fever of some kind if she injured herself and got an infection? neutral
He looked confused a moment at what the Lightning Mistress was asking and then it dawned on him. Oh, Scrying is searching for someone by supernatural means. Rev would use a stone to search for her spirit and locate where she could be.

"Mind Fever" from an infection sounds a bit extreme to me. An infection that bad would take a while and her finger would most likely have to be amputated if it got that bad.
It's no secret that we have had our share of "things" happen here. This place was even destroyed once. And almost a 2nd time when I was out of town. stare It's also no secret as to who I am and what my family does and I have no doubt there are people or beings out there that would delight in our demise. I don't want to jump to any conclusions. sweatdrop

That may be a bit extreme to think about but if you recall I live with an elf and a fox spirit who's constantly getting herself into trouble with who knows what. stare Anything is possible with her. Seeing the time he finished off his cider and went to throw away the bottle. I need to get going to the club. Thanks for letting me vent a little bit. Its good to know I'm not the only one who's worried that she's gone. Please let me know if you hear anything and I'll do the same for you. Heading towards the door he gives a wave to Psy and slips into work.

*Waves at Hauk as she watches him enter the bar. She sighs loudly and is very disturbed at hearing this new information. Looks like she's going to have to take extra special precautions and alert security to be on their toes. Body guards are a real pain to deal with stressed , but considering the circumstances, she may not have a choice until she knows what's going on and Katana has been found. stare She texts the appropriate staff alerting them of the recent findings and gets on her iphone to call Marco. Marco would know the best armed thugs in the business and it looks as though she's going to need a few for a while. There goes her "alone time." stare She has no idea how William is going to react to having huge armed men in dark suits as permanent shadows, but she hopes he takes it well. As she speaks with Marco on her iphone, she heads down to her chambers. After finishing up with Marco and making all the necessary arrangements, she checks on the text she got while on the phone. eek Its from Franco and he's located Katana. xd Leave it to the family to make it happen snappy. Police simply have too much red tape. talk2hand She texts Franco back.* Text to Franco from Psy. Grazie Franco. Puoi tenerla lì e scoprire dove ha ottenuto la roba? Vedrò se riesco a mandare una macchina. She hits send and makes another call as she goes into her chambers.*

*Sees the return text from Franco. eek HOLY CRAP! burning_eyes "Clean out the place? Check the cliente?"  She abruptly sits on one of the leather sofas in the living room completely stunned. An inside job. This was an inside job! stressed She whips out her iphone, calls Kyle and informs him that each and every staff member is to be questioned.* We have a rat that needs to be exterminated. evil *She hangs up her iphone and grimly examines her text from Franco again.* Time to clean house. evil *She puts her iphone away and knows full well Marco will send just the right batch of goons for something this big.*
