Sascha had at this point been cosumed by a frightening amount of snow in the air. Gravity was the only thing that let him know he was still headed in the right direction.

She closed her eyes, quietly muttering the slammingest jammingest prayers she could think of.

Finally, Sascha breached the upper edge of the avalanche. The moons were a beautiful sight. It was a literal breath of fresh air. Then Sascha was once again sucked back down under the snow.

Tamiya attempted to open her mouth for additional prayers, but what the hell? The pressure of the snow was too much. She saved her energy for the trials to come.
