My mom's ex boyfriend was watching videos on yahoo. They must have been in a random order. He was listening to an Iced Earth song, which sucks by the way. Once it was over a song came on right after it. It was Helena. First the video and Gerard scared the crap out of me, but the song became stuck in my head. So a week later I looked it up on youtube. Then I looked at the related vids and found other songs by them. Now I am an obsessed addict of the My Chemical Romance World. Check my profile if you don't believe me. lol

i must admit, i wasn't particularly fond of them at first. my sister was absolutely IN LOVE with the video for "I'm Not Okay" and everytime it came on tv, she'd be like "HEY! HEY! LEAVE THE CHANNEL! AND TURN IT UP!" i didn't get what the big deal was with them. and then "Helena" came along, and i didn't get what the deal was with that either. THEN, my sis brought Three Cheers, and i grew to love the energy i heard in their songs.
heh, and now i'm hooked. xp

Well, for me it all started with "I'm Not Okay". It was the first time that it was shown on Fuse, I believe it was, and I watched it and then immediately went to Wal-mart and bought both of their CDs. I fell in love with both CDs and have loved My Chem ever since. My Chem has been there when friends weren't. (As lame as that sounds) But their music has always been able to cheer me up. mrgreen

well, I was alone, laying on my bed with tears flowing down my face. Listening to the radio, face down by redjumpsuit was on. and imedeantly It cut off right in the chorus and I'm not okay(mcr) came on. I take it that it was fate. Because that station never plays mcr. And it didn't do that to any of my friend's radios. I loved the song, so I looked them up and started to listen to all of their other songs. And I emediantly fell in love with them. Their music has been there when no one else was. (yeah yeah it sounds lame but true) I just saw them recently in concert to

I was channel surfing when I lost the remote 'cause it fell. I looked up and saw this bleached-blonde guy singing 'do or die you'll never break me...' the words stuck with me forever until i just had to get the song. I did my research and fell in love with the music and the band. I bought the CD and now I'm addicted. All thanks to that remote. ILY remote.

one of my more obbsessed friends kept sending me videos, and i kept skimming through them, until she sent me "i'm not okay" and then i was hooked. it's weird, not many people actually appreciate The Black Parade as a rock opera, they just buy the album for the singles. it's rather sad.

I was helping a friend set up her new ipod on her evil cluttered computer. We still didn't get it done. She pulled out all her cds and we started listen to cds and she made me listen to all of them which one of them was Three cheers for sweet revenge.
