What the hell is 'pagination'? Sounds like a made-up word to me.

Actually, pagination is a word. xD It's the sequence of numbers assigned to a page or something like that....

That doesn't preclude its being a made-up word. Someone must have made it up at around the same time as they made up the concept of 'pagination'. XP

Sooo....this is like a random thread, eh?
Here's something random:
I might study abroad for a year in England. Not sure where exactly, I have another year before I actually go...I'm trying to decide to go to Brighton or London. Then there are even more choices as to which uni to attend... sweatdrop It's giving me a headache.

[/random] razz

How do you apply from overseas? Does it still go through UCAS?

confused

Not sure exactly, seeing as I don't even know what that is. I'll find all the technical stuff out when I apply, I suppose. I would just be going through a study abroad program for University students. People do it all the time....I have a friend studying in Oxford right now.

Righto, well ucas.com is good for basic stuff. Which places do your course and how good they are, but I don't imagine they include American grading-systems as a measure of requirement for entry.

Individual universities may. I know my place will let you know what you need to get in with if you are from the US.

I'm searching for a word to describe how you make me feel. It's a blend of being envious of you and being disturbed by you.

It's called still in the ******** office at 8:45pm! scream

That's mainly because the US is not on DST yet so FNAL is seven hours behind the UK. The group had a little meeting today at 11am FNAL time (6pm here gonk ) because one guy is giving a talk about our work later and he needed to run through it all with us.

Thank ******** Christ; the final fit is finished. Time to go home.

There are only 10 types of people in this world; those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Well, if it's a fat guy's t-shirt, I'd expect something more verbose - I mean, greater surface area to cover an' all...

Ah, but that is the subtle humour that goes with the fat guy t-shirt.
