Liada comes back and puts the water in front of Zephit. Sipping her own drink as she looks around and seeing everyone celebrate. So I saw you coming out of the portal. Did you get to see my baptism dear? biggrin

Hauk rolled his eyes and gave a grin. I was a good sport you have to admit that. I shop for practical things not...abundance of things.

She giggled a little at Leko's reply and finished her drink. "An early night or two can't hurt...and if Ayami has been so busy lately then I agree that it would likely be why your tired" she said as she went and washed her glass out.

"Yeah, it was really interesting. I was watching from up in a tree, as I had just gotten off work and didn't want to interrupt your plans. Glad I decided to have my boss help me locate you, though." Zephit nodded, before taking a sip of his water. There was another curious smile on his face as a question boiled up his throat.
"I wonder if I could get one of those? It looked fun."

I used to think that no man could handle shoe shopping, that is until I met him. rofl He's got me beat! I think if there ever was a shopping marathon or a record for the longest shopping spree, he'd win it hands down. stressed
*shakes her head and sighs, sipping her water, finally taking notice of the closeness between Kat and Hauk. Cocking her head slightly, she looked between the two, and wondered when they started to be so close. Then she started wondering what happened to Showcase. Not sure if that was the right time to bring up those things, she let it idle for a minute, reminding herself that she hasn't been around like she used to, and apparently has missed out on a lot of happenings with the bar and the ladies*

Taking a swig of her drink Liada took Zephits hand and smiled at him. Its very cleansing dear. Ayami's still technically here but Leko's got the body right now. You should ask her next time she comes out and about. She laughs when she hears Leko's outburst and dies laughing.

She took another sip of her drink and then covered a yawn. "Oh wow, excuse me....I think I'm going to be forced to call it a night. I'll talk to all of ya'll tomorrow sometime.  You ready to go, Hauk?"

Finishing off his beer and tossing it into the garbage. Hauk turns to Kat smiling. Yup, ready if you are. As Kat says her good nights to everyone he goes to wait for her by the office. Giving a wave to Liada for a good evening.

"I'll talk to Ayami about it, then. Whenever I'm feeling bold enough to ask." Zephit mentioned quietly, squeezing at Liada's hand in thought. Then he remembered something important before reaching into his shirt.
When Kat mentioned leaving he turned over to her with a small wave, allowing himself the small distraction, "Goodnight, Kat."
"Liada, by the way, I have that gift I owe you. It is my favorite type of flower. So I wanted you to have one, too, since it kind of reminds me of you." Carefully he pulled out one flower, a scarlet pimpernel, holding it out for Liada to take.

She quickly said her goodbyes to Icy, Liada, and Zephit before heading to the office. She did the scans and her and Hauk headed to her quarters.
Once they were inside her quarters and she had locked up, she turned to him and gave him a small smile.
"Look, I know I said I'd give you all the details, but would you mind if we talked after I get some rest? Right now, I feel dead on my feet."
She pulled off the wig she had on and turned to head to her bathroom to take out her contacts.

Watching the others get ready to leave for the night, Sakura set her glass on the draining tray after washing it and offered a friendly wave to the others in MW. "Well goodnight all, I best be returning home...I'll see you all next time" she said with a smile as she made her way home lost in thought.

Night Kat, Hauk, Sakura, thanks to you guys for coming. She waves at the others and then turns to Zephit. Surprised when he pulls out the flower and she smiles brightly. Oh Zeph, that's so sweet. Thank you so much. You really are too much. She leans over the bar again to give him a deep kiss.

*smiles and hugs Kat goodnight, watching with anewed curiosity as Hauk ushered her towards the passageway downstairs. Figuring that was a story for whenever they could get together for a girls night, she finished off her water, tossing the bottle in the trash. Feeling enough time had passed, she pulled the vodka back in front of her and nursed her shot, attention drawn to Liada and some cat eared guy. Feeling like she's waaaaaaaay out of the loop, she snickers to herself and shakes her head, trying not to interrupt the lovers moment*

Watching her walk away he still felt like he was dreaming. Like if he fell asleep he'd wake up and she'd still be in Japan. He followed her and changed out of his clothes when she comes into the bedroom he pulls her close to him and looks down at her eyes deeply. I have a lot of questions for you and you have answers for me. I understand you need your rest but keep in mind I will have punishments to dish out for you not only taking off like that, but for making me worry out of my skull. He pulls her in for a gentle kiss. Sliding onto the bed and pulling her down with him.
