"That is a lot of security." Zephit mentioned idly, once they were inside Liada's room. He followed her into the living room, taking a seat on the couch he slept on before. While he realized that he'd probably be sleeping there again, he also hoped that he really wouldn't. Not that it wasn't comfy, but it was hardly fun to sleep by himself.
"So what did you make to eat, lovely Liada?"

Yea we girls have to be 100% safe as can be at times. You never know. Putting the bottle of wine down on the coffee table in front of the couch, Liada went into the kitchen to grab dinner and then a couple glasses for the mead. Taking the glasses in her hands she levitated the plates and silverware to float behind her back into the kitchen. Nothing too special, just a simple garlic salmon and rice dish. I hope you like it. Putting the glasses and plates down she uncorks the mead and pours it into each of the glasses.

"It has fish in it, so I'll probably like it a lot." Zephit followed the smell of food, stepping into the kitchen with Liada. Carefully he pulled out a seat for her at the table, and gestured for her to sit down.
"Take a seat, beautiful. You made dinner, so you get to relax and enjoy the first bite." Zephit nodded, then laughed before adding, "That way I know it isn't poison, too."

gonk Hey now~I don't poison my food! She laughed out loud at that as she sat at the table. At least not in 200 years....  She goes to take a bite of her food and swallows. See? I'm fine you brat. xp So tell me about the job.

"Which one?" Zephit asked with a playful smile, pushing Liada's hair out of his way, before brushing his lips against the back of her neck lightly.
"Is that the job my heart gives me, to make you feel incredible?" He couldn't help but nuzzle into her neck, getting distracted from sitting down so he could eat as well. "Or is that the job I got recently to make money?"

The small hair on the back of Liada's neck raised at the sensation of Zephits lips on her skin. Making her blush furiously at his words and she took a couple more bites of her food and a long drag of her drink to compose herself. I-I was talking about the new job you told me earlier. Now sit and eat before the food gets cold. redface

"Okay, I'll sit." A wide smile against her neck before he stood up, moving around the table to sit in his own seat. The smile still there, just as wide, as he took his first few bites of the dinner she made.
"This is really good, Liada." Zephit mentioned, getting slightly distracted from the topic at hand.
"O-oh!" He reminded himself to answer her question, pausing from eating. "I work for some bold adventurer guy. Like an assistant or something, though sometimes I have to dress like a butler. Basically we deal with unruly magical creatures, and generally just bad people. Or at least that is what he tells me."

I'm glad you like it Zeph. I'm not as great a cook as Hauk is but I manage I think. Eating more of her meal she raises an eyebrow at Zeph. An adventurer guy? So you're still fighting in a sense but for a single client instead of a hoard of people? And against magical beings, do you have proper protection in those cases?

 Well armor is good to have but if its not charmed or somehow better guarded against certain types of magic that could be fatal in some cases Zeph. I mean I was a mercenary once so I've been through it all and I dunno. It seems you might be in over your head a little bit if your not careful. Sipping her drink she looks confused at Zeph a moment. On my mind? What would you think is on my mind? Have I looked stressed recently?  She pauses to check her hair, seeing if she's been losing any or "naturally" graying from the possible stress.

"Where would I get enchanted armor, I wonder?" He tilted his head, thinking about magic and things. Subjects which he had almost no expertise on.
"Earlier when you went to Pandora's, you seemed really flustered." Zephit reached across the table to take her hand, squeezing it gently. He wondered honestly if he had done something wrong, but wasn't sure how to ask.
"Did I do something to upset you?" Direct is always best.

I'm sure if you look around you could find something in town. Maybe ask Tes if you ever meet him since he is a rogue more or less, he might know something better than me. I hardly get time to shop. Seeing his questioning face she gave a sigh of relief. Oh that...well you nibbled on my fingers back then and well...that's something normally people do intimately for..ahem pleasure. For some people its a turn on for others well its just biting. It just threw me off when you did it so openly like that in front of everyone and I had no idea what to do then. sweatdrop

"O-oh... I didn't know at all..." Zephit blushed beet red, unaware that nibbling someone's fingers could have such an effect. His eyes avoided her at all cost for a few moments. Though his shyness subsided as he lifted her hand back to his mouth again, and nibbled her fingers once more. Temporarily sating his curiosity as he formed questions.
"B-but you enjoy it right? Is it okay now that no one is watching?" He asked Liada with a hopeful smile, and gave the tip of her index finger a soft kiss.

Liada put her fork down when he took her hand. It was probably a bad idea that she told him but it was too late when he started to nibble her fingers. Her tail started to shiver and a blush crossed her cheeks as she watched him. I-I do enjoy it....and yes when no one's around its a wonderful thing to share with the significant other....but...She tries again taking a deep breath when he kisses her finger. I just think its a bit soon to be that intimate when we've only just started dating....

Zephit let her fingers linger on his lips for a few moments, considering what she said. Then slowly he returned her hand back to the table, instead indulging himself on squeezing it gently. Nibbling was too intimate for her, he nodded, and gave an apologetic smile.
"I-I'm sorry..." Timidly he looked to the floor and scratched his head with his free hand. A bright blush was painting across his face. "Just wanted to please you, Liada."
