Taking the tissues, the star gave a little "thank you" and wiped his eyes, then blew his nose softly. "Yeah...you're right. I guess all those accidents are starting to catch up to me, though. I worry...I worry when the next might be my last. Rethinking choices and reaffirming commitments, though...hmmm. So much I need to consider, there. My music...I know...I know I want to do it even harder than I was before. That I can say for sure. And Raito...I haven't always been so good to him. I need to change that..." the violinist commented, knowing that his relationship needed to...change. So often, he had been an a*****e. That much he knew was true. Though...when he thought about it, it was like he couldn't stay focused on those memories. ~ Sou boku no sekai wo nurikaete mitai ~

The world has....changed
Hiroki smile a little and tried very hard to avoid thinking about the 1st time for anything with Katsu. He preferred to remember the now because the earlier was scary. Scarier than anything in his life. "It's nice...." he answered even though after hearing about Katsu's real relationship to Izo he wondered so many things. Did he know about Izo? How much did Katsu love him? He felt he did. Was that all that he needed to know? Was Katsu thinking about him right now?
"I hope that I'll be able to be as happy with Katsumi as you are with Lucky-san. You sure do seems happier now than at any point in your life. But of course well...knowing about Matsumoto's connection to Katsumi, I won't say how things will go. I'll take things one day at a time." He went silently too for a moment just thinking about that. It was troubling. There was no way that he'd be able to take Katsu away from Izo's clutches. And if he could, the young man wouldn't come anyway.
"Oh...mm...well I think we will visit each other quite a bit for now. I'm not sure we're even at that stage." he blushed just a little thinking about that. It would be nice to live together but, he could see where that might be a problem.

Kou sat in the cafeteria for a long time looking at the plate of noodles he had purchased. This was his day - mixed up in a bowl of noodles. Crazy noodles. He picked up his chopsticks and slurped in several hoping that he wouldn't be missed.
He had already pinched himself several times trying to make sure he wasn't dreaming this day. He couldn't be so lucky. His friend was upstairs thinking that he was some long term lover. How could this happen? God!
Several times, he had thought of reaching out to various friends for help. But then he'd have to explain how the heck he was involved with a Japanese Rock Star! Oh that would just really not work out so well. However, he would become the most popular man at the college for a short time. At least until they realized that meant that no one had a chance with Ryuukaze, star violinist... Yeah. Then all of the fangirls would stalk him and do crazy things.
He shook his head and push the idea of calling his friends aside. Maybe he could call his mom instead? Hey mom, I met this rock star, yeah I had a lot of fun one night with him. And today he things I'm his year old lover. He shook his head again, and this time he laughed because his mom probably would not believe him at first that is until she did her own internet search and found the photo of him kissing said star. Owch No...he wouldn't be telling mom anytime soon. He could hear her now giving him an earful.
When he finished the last noodle he sat there with his head on his hand resting the elbow on the table. His eyes drifted until they landed on the puddings and jello. Oh yeah. He was suppose to bring some back...and a hot coffee.
Getting up, he looked at the cans of coffee in the vending machine. Several brands he knew and loved when he was in a hurry. But out of the reflection he saw fresh coffee in a pot. Wouldn't it be nicer to get Ishihara-san better coffee? He walked over and talked to the cafeteria cook and purchased a cup with a nice tight plastic lid. Wow! It was hot! He grabbed gum sugar cups and then a few creamers of various flavors before also getting the cherry jello that he also paid for.
Looking down he had about 5 yen left, before heading back to the room.
As he walked in he whispered, "Ishihara-san? I've got coffee. Better than canned too I think."

Akihiko laughed softly, "You're blushing, Asato. You must really like him." the musician spoke teasingly with a wink. "Just be careful that the spider doesn't use him against you. Seems all of these old men enjoy toying with the love lives of the younger generation. Guess they have to get their jollies somewhere." of course Narcissus was smiling because, well he did enjoy being happy.
Sure, SMASH was trying to break Ohayou to bits and his grandfather had just been murdered by his cousin and his physical image had been altered much to his chagrin and he'd just learned that the most hated man in his life had sired a son with his own mother... but there were good things he could see too. Michi and Izzy were going to be nationwide sensations soon and Yuuji had found his son, even if the boy couldn't remember that quite right now and he was about to take the stage for the first time in quite a long time and... perhaps most important of all... Akihiko had Ruki.
"So, tell me how you met my brother. I mean I'm sure he tricked you into thinking he was myself... unless it was all a ploy to keep your friends from finding out you were seeing a rival." the musician spoke, not really thinking the question too awkward.
Little did he know...
"Ah... about Kimura-san. Ryuukaze-san I know I'm not supposed to push this and you really should rest but your memory HAS been affected. You and Kimura-san have only been together for a week." carefully he passed his surface table to the violinist, showing him the news story about the two's sudden ramen-ya kiss... and the date of that article. "I don't want to cause you another seizure, Ryuukaze-san... but I'm afraid this sudden change of events has... disturbed Kimura-san. I only want you to take it easy on the man and then let other things come back to you as they will."
Not even a minute later though, Kou returned and You smiled at the man, standing and taking the offered coffee. "Arigatou, Kimura-san. This is actually better than canned." he spoke, stepping out of the way with his coffee in hand.

Cautiously, Ryuukaze reached out and took the tablet and read the article....then he read it again, and glanced over it a third time. What....what on Earth was this? The violinist's mind raced, trying to wrap around exactly what this was saying...and what it meant. "But...Ishihara-san...this is only because Raito and I have been hiding our relationship and we got caught because I was acting all stupid..." Ryu finally smiled, his mind having concocted something to rationalize things. It was plain to see that the vocalist wasn't going to be made to believe the truth very easily. "Raito!" the puppy beamed when his "lover" came back into the room. He was so, so happy to see the man that his tail may as well have been wagging, had the man possessed one. ~ Sou boku no sekai wo nurikaete mitai ~

By this point, Ishihara was growing impatient with the violinist. His want to strangle the young man was getting more and more attention from the dark parts of his spirit.
But he couldn't do that.
Sighing, You just tried to focus on something else and thought back to the night before with Haru. Least that was a memory that worked quite well to focus his mind on more pleasant things.
"I really do wish you'd trust me, Ryuukaze-san. A man with a head injury, a man who's had a prior head injury at that, really should trust those around him a bit more." Ishihara replied, sitting down a few feet away and taking a sip of coffee.

If Ishihara was getting impatient, that was one thing. Ryuukaze's impatience, however, was quite unexpected...given the star's history of typically good nature and childlike demeanor. "I really wish I could trust you, Ishihara-san, but, as it stands...all I know is that I'm in love with Kimura Kou. I remember him. I remember us being together for a long while now. So, let's say that, yes, I'm all mixed up and there's a crapload of other stuff that actually happened. Let's say that I'm just completely off my rocker! The fact remains, Ishihara, that my heart tells me that I love this man..." he pointed at Raito, really regretting that he had to do this in front of his lover, "...and I have no clue who the hell this NAKO person is that you've tried to tell me about!" The vocalist had raised his voice loud enough that it had startled several people passing by out in the hallway. It was a rare occasion that anything angered the star this much, but, at this point, he just felt like he was being poked and prodded by a bunch of things that didn't make any sense to him, and he couldn't take it anymore. Even with all the things he was being told...assured of, even...he didn't believe them. How could he?! Especially when his mind told him so plainly that the situation was completely opposite. "I'm...I'm sorry I yelled..." Ryu apologized as soon as he had had the chance to take a few deep breaths. This was just too out of control for him. He hadn't meant to lose it like that. ~ Sou boku no sekai wo nurikaete mitai ~

Smiling politely, Ishihara inclined his head slightly. "I never said you didn't love Kimura-san. I simply said you had only been together for a week. If you insist on thinking otherwise then think on just how YOUR assumption that Kimura-san and you have been a year long item... may be affecting him." the shark's dark eyes glanced at Kou as if to indicate his point.
He wasn't going to push the Naoko side of things... but he WAS going to make sure the violinist didn't drive away the host with nonexistent memories or by being overly clingy.

He tried to stop himself from thinking about just living with Katsu so his cheeks would stop blushing. Good grief! But he sighed when Akihiko mentioned that, "I have this feeling that the spider will try just that one day." Because he already had....
However, as he looked at Akihiko he could see that the young man was very happy. "Lucky-san sure has changed you. Mm...Aki was right about that when he thought Lucky-san would be a good match. You've changed, for the better."
When Akihiko asked the last question though, Hiroki's brow furrowed a little, "Well you already know where I met him since my friend wrote you. Okinawa. I assumed it was you when I saw him. So...maybe he just decided to go with the flow so he could talk to me in front of my friends. Might have been awkward any other way. After that, we just hit it off...."
He added nothing to the last statement because in the back of his mind he was seeing flashes of things he'd rather forget." Maybe he had a little too much to drink...

"Oh good. I'm glad. The cook said it was the staff's coffee pot but I got him to give me a cup for the price of a can. So I think a good deal. Here's some cream and gum sugar." said Kou as he put the little plastic containers on the small table.
"Hi, Ryuu....I've got cherry jello for you. Would you like some? I brought a spoon too." said Kou with a smile hoping that Ryuukaze was feeling a little better now that he had some time to rest. But he didn't expect a miracle, he just hoped that the man wasn't going to have anymore seizures.

"Then you and he went to dinner and he was probably like, 'By the way, I'm not Narcissus', ne?" Akihiko laughed slightly. "I really would've like to see the look on your face when you realized he wasn't me. Probably was... entertaining."
Of course the man had no idea that said face involved the poor man getting strangled at the same time.
Narcissus couldn't help the smile on his face, "Yes well... change in some ways is good I guess. I'm not getting into any drunken brawls or finding myself in bed with some woman I don't even remember the next morning. I'll sing and come home and find Ruki right there waiting for me... unless he's at the concert which means we'll come home together, have a drink, and be able to forget the day." the young man sighed, really really enjoying the whole idea. "I've found what I've been missing. And YOU," he pointed to Hiroki with a laugh. "You are partly to blame for my happiness so take a little credit. I know you hate remembering my stupidity but without it you wouldn't have made ojisan take such drastic measures and the chances of me and Ruki being together as we are right now are slim to none."
Stretched out on the sofa, Akihiko was quite comfortable as he and Hiroki spoke of happiness and lovers.
"Tell me everything you can about Katsumi. Is he a good cook? What does he like to eat? Can he play any instruments or is it just singing? I want details man. This is the brother I'll never get to know personally we're talking about here."

Those flashes didn't go away and he had to close his eyes for a moment to catch his breath. "Yes...well maybe it was...I didn't have a mirror." He finished the last drop in the glass and set it aside.
"Hah...Sounds like you've become quite the domestic." Hiroki said with a slight smirk glad for the change of subject but also never quite picturing that possible with Koyasu-kun. "Of course, Lucky-san can't cook so...I'm suspecting you've got to make sure he doesn't use the kitchen. You do know he has a mini frig in his office at Ohayou filled with frozen dinners in the small freezer on top."
"Ok...I'll take a small portion of the credit. But I never want to go through that again with you. EVER. So you best plan to stay with Lucky-san for a long time. Long enough that I can grow grey and retire. Yes, and I don't want to be reminded of that again... even if it did improve you later." he scolded just a little as he tried to relax in the comfortable chair. His fingers ran along the warm leather. How many times had he sat in this very chair talking to Aki...too many to count.
But then the conversation turned back to Katsu...Katsumi..."No, he can't cook to save his soul. He has someone that does that for him. But he likes almost everything put in front of him. And he's got a sweet tooth. So maybe he's a little more like Lucky-san than you in that regard. He eats rice." Hiroki chuckled under his breath knowing that Koyasu-kun never ate it."
"Mm...I think he mostly sings. But then again, I've not been to Smash to find out. He doesn't talk about his musical work as much at home." At least, they hadn't discussed much of his musical work at home. And it wasn't a bad thing in Hiroki's opinion considering talking about work all the time would make him think about work constantly. And put him into a pattern similar to what he used to follow. He imagined that Katsu had done that on purpose.

"Freezer at work?" Blue eyes narrowed and Akihiko sighed, standing up and getting both himself and Hiroki another drink. "Damn it... I'm cleaning that thing out first chance I get. I don't want him eating frozen dinners." the musician said in annoyance, filling the glasses half full before returning and handing one to the elephant of Ohayou. Narcissus sat down with his and took a long sip. "I cook for him so he doesn't have to do that. And just because I don't like rice doesn't mean I don't cook it too." he made a tsk sound before leaning back comfortably on the sofa. "I'm far from domestic and if by some chance of fate Ruki and I don't remain together... I've got a backup and so does he." the young tiger winked.
Of course he meant Michi and Shou, but he was also joking.
Life without Izzy... he didn't want to think about that ever again.
Listening attentively, Akihiko smiled softly. "He can't cook but eats whatever you give him? Isn't there something he doesn't like? Damn I wish you could explain to me exactly how you two manage to not talk about work. Seems that's half of what Ruki and I talk about. We can barely enjoy a conversation without it creeping in somehow."

"Well of course he does. How else do you think he survived managing some of his child stars. He stocks that full of frozen dinners and I have no idea what he fills the rest of it with. Well, he hasn't been to the office in awhile so he probably hasn't eaten any of it since he returned. But I'm sure it is there. Unless you get to it before he does." The older man took the drink and one sip. "Mm...this is different from the others what is it?" He glanced at the glass because it did tasty pretty good.
"Backups? Seriously?" he blinked and then shook his head, "You better not! I don't even want to imagine Who these backups might be."
"He's not a picky eater and I haven't seen him say he dislikes anything. So maybe I've just not found it yet. It does make it easy to cook for him." he chuckled a little, "Ah...well, he's says I work too much so he doesn't want to talk about it much. I mean...we do sometimes. Like..mm...ideas for a photo book he wants to do. But, most of the time, mm...it's just us. He really has changed my perspective about work and personal time." He didn't mention things about Katsu probing him about Akihiko and Izzy. He didn't want to think about the trouble Katsu might have gotten into....with Izo. He picked up the drink without thinking and took another sip trying to keep his mind out of those darker places.

"Well he's not eating any more of the damn things. You know his aunt can't cook either so he picked up the habit from them." Akihiko replied, emphasizing his point by pointing above his head to the upstairs where he was sure Crystal and Rukuro were. "I do like them a lot but honestly... a star has to have real food, and I plan on turning Ruki into a bright one."
The young tiger laughed, taking another sip of his drink. "It's a type of Irish liquor. Kind of sweet before the bite so I tend to enjoy it." he said before nodding. "You know the back ups. For me it's Michi-kun obviously. He's the only other person I tend to not want to beat to a pulp on a daily basis." the young Koyasu winked at that remark. "For Ruki I'd suppose it'd be Shou-san. They're quite close. Though... if I'm keeping my hands off Michi-kun, I'm trusting Ruki to do the same on his end. You've no idea how hard it is for a playboy to turn monogamous!"
For a moment, Narcissus simply enjoyed his drink. Then he frowned slightly. "Changed your perspective? How so? I mean seriously, Asato, give me pointers here. The day Ruki and I go to bed without a single word passing between us about the business or the company is the day I run through the studio naked." He laughed softly. "No I'm exaggerating there. NOT going to do that... even if it does sound fun."

Falling silent, the vocalist seemed to ponder over what Ishihara had just said. Was...was he somehow hurting his beloved Raito? The idea of that pushed his mind in a completely different direction. He didn't want to do anything that would hurt or upset Kou.... And Kou was standing here offering him a cup of cherry jello.... "Raito....but....didn't they have strawberry? You know my favorite is strawberry....right?" he took in a wavering breath, as if he were afraid of what answer Kimura might give him. Yet....he wanted to hear the truth. If he had to hear it, had to believe it, he wanted to hear it from Kou. "Kou....do you love me?" ~ Sou boku no sekai wo nurikaete mitai ~

"So lack of cooking skills runs in the family. That's funny!" he chuckled a bit more as the alcohol relaxed him. "Well, he wasn't a star until recently. So you can forgive him a little."
"It's good stuff." Hiroki said before downing half the glass. "Michi-kun and Shou-san? Seriously? Ok. so I guess that's not hard to believe but do you think Lucky-san and Shou-san would be a good match? Ok...Not sure anyone is a good match for Shou-san. I don't know who'd keep up with him."
"You better be keeping your hands off Michi-kun. Hah...tough for you? I should be thanking Lucky-san for saving Ohayou millions on covering up your playboy affairs." commented Hiroki as he felt the buzz in his head. Mm...maybe he should stop with the drinks. At least he had a driver.
"I'm sure that the girls at the office would be very happy to let you run naked through their area. The studio wouldn't be as much fun to watch considering you could always tell everyone else to leave the room. Actually, why not Ohayou's food court at 12pm. Now that would be special. I'd even take pictures." he laughed a little bit at the thought of how many trays would drop. How many camera phones would snap. Yes, it would be brilliant!
"Mm...well he really didn't give me much of a choice. If I wanted to be with him I had to learn to put work on the back burner and not run off to work. He'd rather have me think about spending time with him than the job when we're together. I guess that must be the key...because work won't hold me at night, nor smile at me in the morning." His eyes closed as he thought about the kitten all nestled against him at night. He really was content with that feeling.

"Umm...they had cherry and lime. No strawberry. But I didn't know it was your favorite." Kou answered honestly trying to be as gentle as possible with the news. "I thought you'd be happier with cherry than lime."
But then came a different question and he sighed the set the spoon and jello on the table. "I care about you. But we've only been seeing each other 2 days. I'm not including the first day we met at the Cosplay Club. I was Grell there, remember? So, love is going to take time. 2 days isn't enough for me to say those words."
He scratched his head and sighed, "I know you were still trying to figure out things with your ex. So I wasn't going to rush our relationship. I mean good things take time right?" OMG...I hope that Ryuu doesn't explode I didn't want to lie and say something stupid. thought the young man as he stood there. "Look I just want you to get well so we can continue to have good times together."
