For someone who only saw snow maybe four times in his life, Sascha was doing pretty good at running down a mountainside.

Sascha nearly lost his footing. He was really trying his best to minimize gliding in case that was the sort of technique that got people disqualified. "Technique".

She flipped a few more times before settling into the general position she'd be stuck in for the rest of her general velocity-based motion.

Sascha's advantage was less his ability to move quickly as it was to take shortcuts down steep drops without breaking both his legs.

After a while, she realized that her make-up was getting terribly smudged. She would probably end up looking like the avalanche destruction by the end of the event.

Of course, that was largely dependent on whether or not Sascha could SEE WHERE HE WAS GOING.

For all that time wasted in the paradox, Sascha only ended up getting spit out a small distance away from where he entered. Bummer.
