After feeling some strange movement on his hand, Kyo opened his eyes to see what the movement was. There were fireflies in the formation of a heart, but why?

Gikishou nearly groaned in exasperation as a few more landed in the shape o a heart on his own hand. Even the shooting star was trying to push Kyo into it. He just wanted him happy!

It was strange that the fireflies had decided to assemble hearts and his and Giki-san's hands, but it also seemed to be a sign. That wasn't even the strangest part. Some of the fireflies that still flew around were somehow pushing and pulling his head as if to position it. They were already trying to tilt his face up to look at Giki-san, but he didn't know why.

Gikishou felt a growing sense of dread as the fireflies made him look down at Kyo. 'no... he'll stop breathing if we kiss...' He thought, but knew the star wouldn't listen.

At seeing Giki-san's face, Kyo immediately blushed and wanted to look away, but the fireflies somehow kept him from moving. It was as if a person's hand was forcing him to look up instead of the fireflies.

'Oh nonononono!' Gikishou thought as the fireflies made them move closer. He tried to think of how to stop this. He'd hoped to move his head to the side and only kiss his cheek or something, but his head refused to move an inch to the side.

Panic settled in Kyo's mind as he noticed their faces getting closer. He wanted to brush the fireflies away, but he was frozen. What was going on?

"remember to breathe."Giksiihou said desperately as their lips were pushed together,closing his eyes. He inhaled through his nose and was giving him mouth to mouth while they kissed to ensure that he'd stay breathing. The second the fireflies released their hold, he let go and hugged him close. "I-I'm sorry! It wasn't me! Th-the fireflies...!"

"Don't worry about it. It's not your fault," Kyo said. For some reason, he hadn't panicked as they kissed. It hadn't even scared him when he found himself enjoying the kiss. In fact, when Giki-san pulled away it had seemed all too soon.

GIkishou exhaled in relief and rested his forehead against Kyo's as if he were tired. "I promise, not to kiss you ever again unless you give me permission." he told him sincerely, pulling his forehead away and closing his eyes.

"Um... Actually, I didn't mind at all," Kyo admitted. "It was kind of weird, really." His face was still a bit red with blush remnants, most likely from the kiss.

Gikishou bit his lip. "May I... kiss you again?" He asked, hoping he would say yes. For some reason, the fireflies seemed to have an aura of satisfaction about them, watching the scene.

Kyo blushed even more and he was sure he heard the sound of tiny laughs somewhere. "U-um... Sure, if you want to," he said, completely embarrassed. "It's fine with me." For some reason, the laughs also sounded like little bells, but this time they came from the fireflies.

Gikishou smiled and kissed his forehead lightly, something he'd been wanting to do for ages now, and kissed him softly, hugging him. He was so happy now.

At first, Kyo tensed, but he didn't panic. Instead, he felt completely at peace, which was usually very rare for him to feel. Just then the fireflies began to float around them, forming a ring of hearts around them.
