Amy smiled at Ryzan as he came up, but then she turned toward the bar and went about getting herself a drink. She rarely drank, but she felt like one tonight. It was a little difficult getting herself a Vodka Neon Spritzer with the washcloth around her finger, but she managed alright. Well, she was so far. She was halfway through the process.

-reaches up and pats Karrie's cheek on the way out- This is Karrie, Zephit. whee He's the head chef at the JD. 3nodding
-dame and Psy exit after waving again to everyone and then getting into the pink limo that is idling out front, the driver opening the doors to let the ladies in and then it takes off towards the Upper GGG and the PINK gala-

Amy smiled softly at Ryzan. "Hi Ryzan. No, I haven't been here in the bar in quite some time. I wanted to bring Zephit over to eat at JD. I thought he'd like it."
She nodded in the direction of Zephit so that Ryzan could see who she was talking about in case he had never met him before. "While we're in here, though, I thought I'd get myself a drink. Sometimes a person can just use one, you know?"
She poured the rest of the drink into a glass and then sighed. "How are you doing, Ryzan?"
She waved to Dame and Psy as they headed out for the night.

Gi ussta, xas xas sweatdrop I mzilst certainly know about just needing a drink now and again. I think they may have drinks at the restaurant as well, jhal I cannot say their selection would be as broad. I have scarcely actually dined in there myself to know for certain.
I have been doing rather well. I spend far too mzilt time downstairs with my dear m'ranndii, rilu'oh I have slowly been getting back into the habit of "coming up for air", as some have put it.
I hope you have been well. I heard just last isto that you have recently taken on Zephit as a house guest.

*looks confused for a moment* I guess you didn't hear Amy saying hello to me... Well, to be honest, I've been concerned since I heard that you were staying with Amy. Even though both she and Kits seem to like you a lot, well... *shrugs* I can't help but worry some.

"Me and Ryzan met just the other night!" Zephit chimed into Amy's conversation with Ryzan. His mind settled on the stuff he knew about the chef now, despite never meeting him. It would be better to think of something else, but it wasn't working.
"I'm kind of worried, too." He admitted to Karrie, his tail flicking territorially. Zephit stepped forward and lowered his voice so only he would hear. "Amy misses you a lot, you know."

"Well, they have quite a big selection of wines, some to cook with and some to have with your meal. But the rest of the drinks you can get here. And hard liquor is sometimes the best I came to find out after being the bartender here."
She took a sip of her drink, winced slightly at the sting of the vodka, and then sighed softly. "Yep. Definitely good."
She walked around the bar and took a seat next to Ryzan. "I'm glad you're getting back in the habit of coming back up here again. It's good for you and that made it possible for me to see you again."
Amy took another sip of her drink and then propped her head on her fist. "You know, I haven't gotten the chance to tell you that I found my mother's spell book in my house a few weeks ago."

What alcohol is "best" is really quite relative. Personally, I prefer drinks with lower alcohol content in mzilst situations since with stronger drinks, the alcohol can overpower the flavor of the drink. I am not particularly fond of the burn, either sweatdrop Rilu'oh, there are occasions that call for something... as they say, "with a kick".
How terini'nestg about the spell book. Have you managed to advance a bit in your magic from it or are you still studying it?
