Kat entered the bar and headed straight for the espresso machine to make a caramel macchiato. She nodded at Liada as she went about preparing her caffeine jolt.
"Hey there, stranger...how's it going? biggrin "
She glanced over and saw a new face in the bar. She smiled at him and greeted him.
"Well, well...a new face in the bar. I see you've already met Liada...I'm Katana...but feel free to call me Kat. 3nodding "

"Kat, huh?" Zephit resisted the urge to say something corny, and distracted himself by answering Liada's question first, "Actually, I could go for something milky. Like milk."
Another wide smile as he leaned over the bar to look down at her, his eyes trailing the movements of her tail with fascination. "My day is going well. It even has a pretty lady in it now, thanks to you, Liada." So it slipped out of his mouth anyway, but he'd gladly blame her tail distracting him if Liada complained.
"What about you?" He added politely, relaxing back into his seat.

My day's going well enough, it was so nice out I decided to take the day off. Hearing his request she grabbed a regular milk for Zephit and brought all three bottles up and placed his in front of him. Giving him a smirk as she heard foot steps coming from the office door she glanced to see Kat walking up to them. And as much as I'm glad I made your day so nice, there are plenty of other pretty ladies around here that make me pale in comparison. Like this one. She points to Kat as she walks behind her to make her morning regiment. Good day yourself, I should be calling you stranger since you went MIA for a bit. You go kidnapping my Viking again or something? blaugh She takes a swig of her chocolate milk.

She snorted at the pretty lady comment from Liada and sipped her coffee.
"Yeah, like I'm soooo much more pretty than the others. rolleyes Whatever, Liada. lol "
She went and took a seat at the bar and chuckled.
"And I could have sworn he was my Viking...at least that's what he tells me. wink "

"You hardly pale in comparison to anyone I've seen." Zephit nodded, considering this statement a fact. Liada was very fascinating and had a tail, and that just overall scored her more points in his book. Thoughts that caused his tail to swish about curiously. Then he glanced over to Kat, realizing what he said.
"N-not that you aren't beautiful, Kat." He blushed shyly, giving a sheepish grin as he opened his milk. "You certainly are, if you charmed a viking." Zephit had read a lot of books about those guys.

Liada smacked Kat playfully with her tail as she tried to exclude herself from the pretty comment. rolleyes Pluuuueeeease! You are just as damn sexy as any other one of us and you know it. Otherwise like Zeph here said, you wouldn't have been able to charm that boy. Sipping her milk more she gave a big grin at her best friend. And yes he is your Viking but I still claim him by family means. This is Zephit by the way, he's new in town and he's a cutie to boot! She reaches over to pet the top of his head. Trying to hold back her giggles as he was trying to recover from his blunder with Kat.

Zephit couldn't help but let out an embarrassingly loud purr upon being pet. Ignoring the blush that never seemed to fade, he smiled at Liada, "Th-thank you. I rarely get compliments from beautiful women."
"And, sorry for apologizing, Kat." He scratched at his ears, feeling particularly nervous. "I'm just used to dealing with less forgiving people."
Zephit waved at Rei as she entered, glad to have a momentary distraction.

Liada noted the tone he used when he mentioned about "less forgiving". It was sad to know that there were still humans who weren't worth being on this planet but it was just how it was. She gave an encouraging smile to Zephit as she stopped petting him and went back to her milk. Well don't you worry here hun, there are only a few ways to piss people off here and it takes a lot to do that. So relax, you're in a better town. Liada noticed Kat's attire and gives a big smile. Looks like great minds think alike today eh? You thinking of going to Pandora's too? Or the wave pool?

"What about asking you on a date, then?" Zephit's ears perked up hopefully, and his tail poised in case he needed to dodge a slap. He wasn't used to being so blunt, but somehow he resisted the urge to blush like a fool. Instead just smiling like one, waiting patiently for Liada's answer. "That is alright to do, Liada?"
All the talk about great minds, Pandora's, and wave pools slipped him. Except for the water part, reminding him that he could hardly swim.

She shrugged in reaction to Lia's question. "Not sure yet what we'll go do. May go for a drive out to the lake again. It's too nice of a day to be cooped up downstairs in my quarters, that's for sure.  "

That's for sure, I was thinking of getting a rub down or something, going to the lake sounds like a good idea too and sun bathe. Liada almost choked the last of her milk when she heard Zephit ask her out. She just met this guy so it threw her off her guard with it. She looked at him a little surprised but as she looked at his hopeful face, she realized he probably wasn't used to being so open like this or this blunt. Plus she had to admit she was feeling a little more lonely lately and it was probably not a bad idea to actually go out like a normal girl....even if she was a fox spirit. She replaced her look of surprise with a small smile and shook her head slightly. Ya know, why not? Goddess knows I need to get out more these days. When were you thinking?
