A knock came at Shou's door later in the evening. A messenger, of sorts, from SMASH.
For a while, nobody answered the door, but the knocking persisted until it drew the attention of a certain blond, though not the one the message had been intended for.
When Naoko answered the door, the messenger was very polite and understanding...if rather dim.
"Please excuse me for disturbing you so late tonight, but I came to speak to Shou-sama about his violinist." the man was absolutely clueless to the situation between Ryuukaze and NaKo, and he had been sent by someone equally clueless about the personal connections between all the bandmates. This was obviously not a message handed down by Izo.
"It seems Ryuukaze-san has been in a very serious accident and is in the hospital. I was asked to tell Shou-sama in case it affected any of his performances or appearances in the near future, though I heard that he was to be seeking a new violinist soon anyhow."

"Umm...well yes...and it took awhile to get it all off with a sponge and mop. I don't think I want to try to do scrambled eggs again for a long while. Maybe Akihiko's kitchen will be thankful for that too." His cheeks blushed in embarrassment because he was a terrible klutz with everything except various versions of toast. His most fancy accomplishment in the kitchen was french toast. He seriously would be back on frozen dinners if it weren't for Akihiko's exceptional cooking skills.
"Yes, Santa did come and the packages are still around the tree at Akihiko's home. Of course, I think Santa had to use special skills with all of Takagi-san's security around but somehow he managed to put a load of prezzies under the tree, and he even filled a stocking for you too." grinned Izzy before he sneezed again. "He must have thought you've been a very good boy this year."
"I will...and we will see each other very soon. Mm...Love you too, Chi-kun." Izzy smiled thinking about how much like a little kid Chiyou sounded. Much different from the rebel boy he knew years ago though. Izzy hoped that things would go more smoothly for the boy now that he had a boyfriend. Maybe the young man would finally find his stride and become the person he wanted to be even for the disadvantage of blindness.
"Ok...well, I'm getting off the phone. Tell Nakai I'm looking forward to his album...and I'm also waiting to hear what new from you too, Chi-kun. Ok...Byebye." Izzy said with as perky of voice as he could before hanging up.
Afterwards his shoulders slumped and he dropped the phone to grab the kleenex. He blew his nose and glanced over at Akihiko. "At least that went kind of ok. Hopefully we can get together with Chiyou after I become human again." Izzy grumbled under his breath about wanting to get better and tucked his head against Akihiko's chest. "I want a vacation."

"Oh man, Kai-kuma, Ruki got us presents, and he says I have a stocking! And he says he can't wait to hear your new album, and he can't wait to see us, and, and..." the young vocalist had to stop and draw in a big breath, "And I'm just so happy, Kai! Isn't that great!" the small blond practically flung himself at the guitarist, but he stopped short when he realized just how painful it would be to full on glomp his lover. The burns were still very fresh, and, if the old saying held true, it would only get worse before it got better. karada o tsutau ame ni furueru awai omoi guren no yuuwaku ni...samayou yoru ga akeru

The blond's hands reached out, Kai turning his head to keep from burning the 'kid' with the cigarette in his mouth, stopping him. One hand pulled the smoke away before he smiled, looking at Chiyou and moving some hair out of the younger man's eyes. "Glad you're feeling better now." Nakai said, pulling Hideki into his lap instead and setting the cigarette down in an ash tray. He'd lit one while the vocalist was on the phone. "So... did you figure out when we should go see them? Obviously today's out of the question... but... that's okay with me." he smiled, kissing Chiyou on the forehead. "Means I get you all to myself." the guitarist winked playfully.
Gently, Akihiko wrapped his arms around Izzy. "I know. I want one too... away from everyone but you. No phones and no computers and no communication of any kind with the outside world whatsoever." the man sighed, blue eyes closing as he held his partner close. "It's a pipe dream though, I think... after all, look what happened the last time we tried a vacation. I shudder to think what would go wrong next time..."
Both men needed some damn time off... but right now neither could afford it and even if they could... what catastrophe would be around the corner waiting this time?
"But..." another sigh and it seemed like Narcissus was back to his normal self. "I think it will do you some good to see Chiyou-kun again. No doubt he's missed you."
Amber eyes opened and, for a time, the knocking reinforced the notion that he wasn't still sleeping... wasn't dreaming... Naoko woke, realizing he was still curled in the chair with his brother. Whoever was breaking this moment was officially on his s**t list now. But since Sai seemed dead to the world, the younger Oumori figured that he needed to answer the door.
The man... or messenger he supposed... gave him news that oddly enough, didn't phase the pianist. At least not outwardly. "I'll let him know." Naoko spoke, getting the details from the man before closing the door. For a few seconds he stood there, hand on the door, thinking about the news. Ryu had accidents often, though it being serious did worry him a bit.
'Poor Puppy's hurt. Gonna go fix him... again?' Mentally snarling at the voice, Naoko turned from the door and walked angrily down the hall. He completely ignored his sleeping brother, figuring he could pass on the message whenever he woke. Why bother Sai now? Wasn't like they could do anything for Ryu anyway. 'Isn't like you want to do anything for him...' Again he didn't really respond to the voice and instead went to his room, closing the door. The blond sat down on the edge of the bed, staring at one hand idly as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. 'Hurts, ne? Being alone... Hayato dead... Ryu having left you...' "Sai's here... that's all I need." 'For how long? He'll be Shou again before tomorrow and you know it. So you've got your precious brother for a few hours, whoopie! What happens when he's gone?' Naoko didn't say anything. It hurt to think about... but Yamada was right, wasn't he? He had to make himself better first... had to fix his own damn problems for once... 'He left this little piece of him here, you know...' Amber eyes narrowed, a hand going to his heart. 'He marked you... remember? You could never escape him... not even with him in a coma... not even with him dead...' Tears leaked from the pianist's eyes and he screwed them shut. "You won't even let me grieve..." 'I'm not stopping you now... am I?' Shaking his head, Naoko cried silently, unable to stop the tears. Deep down... despite his rage... despite his claimed hatred... Damn, deep down he still loved Hayato. With Ryu gone... with the only man who'd promised him an eternity without pain... the darker side of NAKO missed Jun's embrace, as painful as it was at times. 'Ryu lied to you. He promised to love you forever, even wanted to marry you... and just look at what's happened. You could have gone back to Hayato and everything would have been fine. You'd be his kitten...' "SHUT UP!" Naoko screamed, crashing to the floor, lithe fingers tangled in his hair. "Just stop... please... please just let me grieve..." Silence was the only reply. Instead of getting up though, the blond just lay on the floor and cried. But this time it wasn't for Ryu or for their break up or even the trauma of what had happened after the funeral. This time... it was purely for Hayato.
"Yeah I'm not sure what his beef with rice is..." Yuuji replied, taking another bite. "He says it's too 'grainy'... which is ridiculous because it's a grain." Setting the fork down, Takagi fixed the elephant of Ohayou with his gaze. "He absorbs things like a sponge, Hiroki-san. We may not notice it... but he does. To be honest I think it's part of his music process. All the external stimuli are stored in his mind for future use. I mean I've never seen the man use a cookbook. EVER. And I'm talking about very precise measurements in recipes too. It's also... part of why he quite literally freaked out so much when his memories were gone. There was nothing there for him to draw from and it scared him." sighing, the man sat back in the chair, thinking about his cousin seriously. "He never studied, expect for math... he had problems remembering formulas... I think it was because he just didn't care. But have him read a poem once or twice and he'd easily recite it back." Yuuji shrugged, quite amazed at that ability. Where it had come from he had absolutely no idea and of course he wasn't about to ask. Maybe it was from his mother's side of the family? "I just... well I want you to understand that he doesn't make decisions based on nothing. Everything he does is carefully planned out, even if we can't see it. A control freak is probably a very lose term for him." Takagi laughed softly at that. So very true... Narcissus was in charge of his world, for the most part. Sure things like tsunami's and kidnapping and death weren't in the man's control... but his career was. His life, extenuating circumstances aside, was his to control. The sooner that Hiroki realized this, the sooner he could come to terms with that side of Akihiko... the quicker the two could work together. If the young tiger didn't like something, he was going to change it one way or the other. "Hmm?" Yuuji glanced to Ko then nodded. "I suppose that would be a good idea." his eyes darted to the ipad and saw that Izzy was off the phone. "Well see now... I hacked into the cameras in this house's mainframe and sent the feed to my ipad instead of to the usual security cameras. I do the same thing in Akihiko's house. There's no app for it and spying on people is a very bad thing to do, Ko-kun. I only do it because I get paid to do it. Those two need bodyguards and I'm a lot more efficient at it than some big thug with hairy knuckles." Takagi spoke with a smile and a laugh, enjoying the conversation with his son. "You've seen Shou-san's guards, ne? Well I'm like that... only a one man army." he winked before pointing to the food Hiroki had made. "Maybe we should let Hiroki-san take this up to Akihiko, ne? After all he did make it... and he came all this way just to talk to him. How about... you and I go outside? The garden here is HUGE and there's even a pond with Koi. We could feed them if you want."
"You won't have to pay a cent back and it won't be coming out of Ryuukaze-san's budget." Ishihara replied as he continued to compile his report to Izo, even while talking to Kou. "We have funds set aside for things like this. So it's positively worry free, Kimura-san. All you need to do is tell me a list of things you want my secretary to pick up for you and she'll do it. Unless of course you don't want a woman in your place... in which case I can have her assistant pick the things up for you instead."

What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman - Ohayou Productions
The world has....changed
"I think it was the first food he burned." laughed Hiroki. Not really sure if that was the truth but with Akihiko it could be anything. As he listened to Yuuji speak about Narcissus' mental abilities, some of these things Hiroki knew from experiences with the younger man. But other things he never really had time to consider.
"I'm really good at math!" Ko piped up. "It's like music. It's really easy. Those formulas are like music too. Seems like the higher you go in math the longer the formula things get. Uncle Shou was teasing me one day and bet me that I couldn't calculate Pi. He lost. So he owes me a movie night!"
Hiroki smirked, "So...Ko-kun. Do you want to be a mathematician when you get big?"
"Math..what?" asked Ko uncertain of what that was.
"It's a professor of Math. An expert." Hiroki answered.
"Oh....No...I don't want to teach people how to do math." Ko replied as he looked at the ipad and listened to Yuuji's explanation.
Hiroki bit his lip as Yuuji described this to Ko. The young father probably didn't guess that his description would get the following question that popped out of his son's mouth.
"Soo....You get paid to do bad things?" questioned Ko with an arch in his small brow. "That's not right." He frowned a little trying to figure it out. "Umm....umm...go outside?" For a moment the boy got a worried look on his face.
It was then Hiroki interjected. "Ko-kun, I can tell you right now that Takagi-kun is not doing bad things. He's not spying because Lucky-san and Koyasu-kun both know he is watching them. So, it isn't spying at all. As long as the people you are watching know you are watching them then it isn't spying. So...it's alright Ko-kun. Why don't you go outside with Takagi-kun and I'll make sure Koyasu-kun eats. Ok?"
There were moments when Hiroki had the parenting gene. Did it come from age, the charity work, or long years of corralling staff? He wasn't sure but it seemed to fix things in the small boy's head.
"Oh...that's it. OK." Ko nodded now understanding and then looked at Yuuji. "I want to see the KOI! And feed them! I saw the aquarium the other day with Uncle Naoko...." The child started babbling about the fish and his new friends.
Hiroki put the food and drink on a tray and walked out the door figuring that Yuuji could handle things from there. Up the stairs he carried the tray then knocked carefully at Akihiko's childhood room. "Hello?"
-:{------------------------------------------------No Sir! ...Where you Lead - that is the Path I Follow.
"Umm....ok...alright then. I guess I can write up a list." Kou walked over and found a pen and paper pad in a draw in the room then wrote down a few things on a list. "Mm...not sure how this will work since I've got a key and well she doesn't. I mean. The manager of the apartment has a key too. But he won't know her. Ah...maybe her assistant would be better. I mean...It's a guy's place. You know?"
He handed the list to You with an address written on the top. It was in Tabeta. Not too far from the train station. It was an ok part of town that didn't have the liveliness of some of the other areas around Tokyo. The address was located where older apartments stood, that much was certain. And more than likely it was two or 3 stories. This apartment was on the first floor.
"So....I guess I should call my apartment manager. If that would help?" Kou asked then looked back at Ryuu as a few nurses came in to prepare the young man for the surgery he required.
"Is he going to be ok?" Kou asked with a furrowed brow.
The nurses gave him their best answers of course they weren't the doctors so all they could do was comfort. So Kou sat down as Ryuu was taken out on his bed. "Geesh...This isn't the way I planned for this day to go."

"Next time we go to...Vancouver, Canada. Good food...out of the way. And have you heard of bad things happening in Canada?" he cuddled into those arms and grumbled, "Oh we'll have that vacation...one day. And nothing will go wrong because it will be just YOU and ME. No one else. No guards, no Yuuji, no Shou...no earthquakes or tsunami. We don't invite any of them. We tell the whole world to go get bent."
His finger lifted up into the air to flip off the world around him. Then he became silent for a moment, "Yes, I suppose it will. I just want to be mentally prepared for it. He's changed so much but I almost feel like he's regressed into more of a child, rather than grown up. I've changed a lot since I managed him...and even more so between the charity event and tsunami. I just want it to be a happy occasion not a worrisome one for me."
But then there was a tapping at the door and Izzy looked up at Akihiko as his brow furrowed. "Is that Hiroki-san?"

"I highly doubt Ryuukaze-san expected the day to go like this as well." Ishihara pointed out, taking the address and sending it to his secretary with instructions for her assistant to get the following list of items. He was fast at sending a text, thankfully, and soon put his phone back in his pocket. "He'll take along a locksmith on the SMASH payroll so don't worry about it at all. I wouldn't want to put your manager out."
In actuality, the text wasn't really sent to his secretary but to a team on call. They would, of course, bring Kou what he requested... but they would also install hidden security cameras. It wasn't that You didn't trust this young man... but too many SMASH starts had been targets of late and it was better to be safe than sorry, especially if Ryu started spending all his free time at that apartment. The team would then clean the apartment and everything would be put back in perfect order.
"The operations will go fine, Kimura-san." Ishihara spoke kindly. "And we have some very good plastic surgeons that do work for us sometimes, so there won't be any sign of the crash. The thing I worry about... is how he's going to take all of this. Ryuukaze-san is... well he sometimes freaks out, for lack of a better word. No doubt the incident with NAKO-san earlier will still be fresh on his mind and now he'll worry he's troubled you too with his accident prone ways."
Seeing Ko get upset, Yuuji back tracked even after Hiroki explained. "Akihiko knows I'm watching him. That's the point of having a bodyguard... to keep someone safe. That is what I'm doing." the man smiled softly, though inside he was wanting to beat himself up. He couldn't protect Hideo... and instead had to protect a grown man who should've been able to take care of himself just fine. "Lucky-san doesn't really like the fact that I'm watching but he understands that it's necessary. See..." he spoke as they started walking toward the door to head outside. "Sometimes musicians have too many fans and sometimes those fans REALLY want to meet them and even try to follow them or break into their houses. That's where the cameras and the bodyguard come in. Just think of me as... well kind of like a special police officer just for stars of Ohayou." Takagi lead the boy outside into the walled garden. Perfectly manicured shrubberies outlined around the high walls. There were rose bushes in front of those, and while the roses had long fallen with the first freeze, it was easy to see that the garden would be beautiful. At one corner was a stone pond with running waterfall and various Koi swimming in it's deep water, water that was heated just enough to keep it and the fountain from freezing and the fish from dying. He listened to his son talk about the trip to the aquarium and his time with the new friends. It seemed to him that for the most part... Hideo really was happy.
Akihiko blinked, "How can you say good food? Maple syrup and bacon... I honestly can't even begin to think of any Canadian cuisine. And it's cold. Wouldn't you want to go somewhere warm?" he asked, curious as to why Canada. "What about Italy? Good food and beautiful architecture. Plus it's in the Mediterranean so... no tsunamis and we can go to the beach without worry." Of course the musician couldn't help but laugh, amused at how his partner wanted to handle the world. "A nice little Italian Villa in the countryside with a vineyard? Wine and just the two of us... and some olive oil." he teased, stealing a kiss to the forehead. The subject changed however and for a moment, Narcissus thought over Izzy's words. "I didn't know Chiyou before, though I'd seen him around and knew who he was. Always came off as too much trouble in my opinion, but then again I'm a handful in my own way. All I know is he's not on drugs and not drunk or hungover. He can't see, Ruki. That'd ******** with me too. I mean... what would you do if you couldn't see?" blue eyes focused down on his manager. "Everything's changed for him because of it. I wouldn't expect him not to regress just a bit at first."
Suddenly however there was a voice and knocking. Confused, Akihiko looked to the door. "Come in, Asato."

What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman - Ohayou Productions
The world has....changed
"Hello, Ko-kun sent me upstairs with orders from the small boy that you're suppose to eat all your veggies, Koyasu-kun." said Hiroki as he stepped into the room and placed the tray before Akihiko with a very familiar dish before him. "Just the way you like it I think."
Hiroki glanced around the room. Old familiar things indeed. Then his eyes rested on Izzy. "Lucky-san, it's good to see you again. I'm glad to see that you came back to Japan with Koyasu-kun." He didn't know many things about the stuff that had transpired after his departure for his sister's...funeral. But the two looked, happy.
"Yes, but right now I'd rather be in LA. Tokyo has had terrible weather this winter." The manager grumped and Hiroki smiled slightly. Yes, the same man in some ways. Different in others. And still hated the cold.
"Well, I'm sure the weather will improve." Hiroki answered then looked over to see if Akihiko had started on his lunch. Hiroki avoided bringing up sadder topics right now such as Aki's death or any of the other issues confronting Ohayou. He just wanted to make it through the day - one step at a time.
-:{------------------------------------------------No Sir! ...Where you Lead - that is the Path I Follow.
"Well...it's ok. The manager lives only a couple doors down so you can just have them knock." Kou said helpfully because he really didn't want anyone to go to the extra trouble to get into his house if someone had a key.
Kou leaned his head on the cool tile close to the window. "Yeah...he's kind of like that isn't he. Well, hopefully he learns a really good lesson from this accident. It's a lot of hardship for him...and everyone he cares about."
Heck, he and Ryuu really were only starting out as far as relationships went. Sure they had a little fun but they were still getting to know each other. So Kou thought of this more as friendship than deep romantic ties. His back still stung from the wall yesterday so he truly knew how clumsy and thoughtless Ryuu could be. The man didn't pay attention. So in a way, Kou could understand how this incident happened. So he wasn't sure how he felt about things. He cared for Ryuu as a friend but the man would have to make a few steps towards being more responsible. For both of their safety.

Chopsticks were in hand but for a few moments, Akihiko didn't say anything. He ate a few bites, listening to the pleasantries. Without looking at Hiroki, still focused on the food instead, the man finally spoke. "Don't know if this is a stupid question or not, Asato but... why are you here instead of at home avoiding this damn weather?" Narcissus asked, looking up only after asking. His blue eyes were focused, but he didn't seem angry or annoyed or even sad. Just focused. "Thanks for the stir-fry, by the way. I hadn't even planned on eating so... kinda nice really." he added before glancing at Izzy. Akihiko didn't want to seem rude. But... well... this WAS the first time Hiroki had seen him and his manager together. It was a bit awkward really... and to make things worse they were together in bed. Even if that was only because Izzy was sick. "Wait... why wouldn't he come back with me?" the musician suddenly asked. Of course he hadn't figured that Hiroki was completely out of the loop. Then again, it'd been a while since he saw the man so maybe such a lack of knowledge shouldn't have surprised him at all.
Ishihara sent his report in to Izo, detailing how Ryu had nearly run Naoko over and how a man that he later found out to be a VERY newly signed guitarist to Ohayou, Suzaku, had pushed him out of the way. He added how they had run off and how Naoko hadn't be aware of what was going on it seemed. There was even a word for word account of the conversation that took place and how Naoko was then escorted to safety. Of course he'd need to write up a report about Ryu too but he couldn't do that until he knew more.
"Ryuukaze-san is, from what I know, an orphan. It's only natural that either he refuse to develop relationships at all... or he develops them fast in order to make up for lost time." You spoke casually, secretly wondering how long the surgery would last. "So if you feel like he's pushing you down a road too quickly, there's no problem in letting him know to ease off a bit. He's clumsy and sometimes absent minded but he does mean well."

What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman - Ohayou Productions
The world has....changed
Well, seemed like the old comfort food had done its job. Akihiko was eating but a question popped up in the middle of it and Asato shook his head, "Well, its seems Ishi-san was needing a ride and he asked me to take him here."
Hirkoki nodded, "Douitashimashite." However, then Akihiko was asking about why Izzy might not return and Hiroki kind of looked surprised. He hadn't seen the two since LA and in his opinion things had been kind of shaky at best. So he hadn't been certain what Izzy would have done.
But before Hiroki could respond, Izzy piped up, "He's not seen us in awhile. It was LA wasn't it, Hiroki-san?"
"Yes, well...then I was away for awhile from Ohayou too. I didn't have much time to think about other things." Hiroki admitted without giving out any details. He wanted to avoid talking about his family, his sister...and what came afterwards. He didn't even know how he felt about Aki's death and being in this house didn't help so much either. But he had loved this home with all it's unique rooms. So traditional and so well kept. It was like a small museum. "But I'm glad you're both looking good...mmm...even if you are ill, Lucky-san."
"How can I look good and be sick at the same time?" Izzy said with a sneeze into a kleenex.
Hiroki smiled because he thought the two looked good as a couple. Although he still couldn't quite put behind him some of the rough days with Aki's grandson. Although right now, those things didn't seem so important anymore. Except for one issue...but that one he'd not speak about. He never wanted to speak about it again.
As he stood there, he really didn't know what to talk about with the two men. If he brought up Aki, that was a sad subject. If he brought up work it would seem in poor taste at a time such as this. "Ko-kun is outside looking at the Koi with Takagi-kun. Seems like he's a very happy child." Safe subject.
-:{------------------------------------------------No Sir! ...Where you Lead - that is the Path I Follow.
"I guess I can understand why he acts the way he does sometimes then." Kou sighed and closed his eyes against the cool tile "Yeah...I'll be sure to let him know. I've already experienced all of that in just one day. So I totally know what you mean." He knew that Ryuu meant well but the man sure was a recipe for disaster some days.
Well at least his job stuff and everything else would be taken care of but boy this sure put a crinkle into his normal world. "Sounds like you've worked with Ryuukaze-san for a long time. I hope he's easier to handle on tours." He smirked slightly as his eyes remained closed. His back was oozing just a little but he really didn't want to get up from the chair and go to the bathroom to figure that out yet. It felt like there was a broken blister. Ugh. "Well, I'm glad he'll have a good plastic surgeon. At least, least he won't have to worry about any scars."
Kou yawned then tried to get comfy in the chair. "I think I'm going to try to nap a little. Hope you don't mind."

Akihiko ate a few more bites then nodded, "Right... sorry... things have been going so fast lately, I forgot you were on leave when we got back and we couldn't contact you." There was something however in that blue gaze... a hint of an accusation maybe? Certainly an unspoken question. "Ko-kun's a good kid. Talented kid too. He'll be signed with Ohayou one day." the young Koyasu said with a slight smirk. Just as Yuuji however, the musician wasn't going to tell Asato about the child's lineage. If Takagi didn't think it important to have already told Hiroki, then Akihiko wasn't going to spill the beans on such a sensitive subject. "Well while you're here hopefully ojisan's lawyer will show up to read his will." the musician took another bite or two, obviously hungry. He hadn't eaten all day, after all. "Random question but if he leaves me the house, do you want it instead?" Narcissus asked, eyes focused on the food as he took another bite. "I thought about giving it to Yuuji but since you're more than likely going to be in charge, it would certainly help your image. Plus it's already got proper security and the butler of course."
"Actually no, I haven't." Ishihara replied honestly, dark eyes focused on Kou. "I'm the Vice President of Promotional Relations so usually I deal with stars on a smaller basis. However I've also spent time in the past as a bodyguard so sometimes my time is better spent keeping an eye on the stars." he sighed slightly. "Plus it's the holidays and while I'd much rather still be on vacation, there always seems to be work to do." You smiled, thinking about the last few days. "Actually I didn't start working closely with Ryuukaze-san until you and he shared that little kiss." Of course he noticed the slight uncomfortable shift but the shark didn't press. Instead, You took his cell from his pocket and shook his head. "I don't mind. Sleep away. I'll wake you when there's news if you'd like." Mentally, Ishihara cursed. Still no reply from Haru...

What wouldn't I do for King and Country... Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman - Ohayou Productions
The world has....changed
His dark eyes met the blue gaze but he didn't offer any answers to that unspoken accusation. He wanted to leave his private world...private for as long as possible. And well there were still things he tried very hard to...ignore about his recent past. So he continued on with the topic of Ko-kun, "I'm sure he will be signed with Ohayou. I couldn't see it happening any other way. Unless his Uncle has something different planned." Ok, he'd play the game whatever it was. They didn't want to admit that Ko was Yuuji's kid and Hiroki didn't know why. And Ko didn't seem to talk to Yuuji as if he were related. This was... surreal but they didn't trust him. And he knew that.
"Ah...are you sure they'd come here this quickly. Did Takagi-kun reach the law office?" Then he blinked, "The house?" He glanced around uncertain of what to say. What would have Aki wanted? "I...well, If you don't want it...I suppose I could. I mean it would be ashamed to sell such a home." Although it was a HUGE home for just one person. Hiroki wasn't sure what he'd do with all the space. Although he doubted he'd change too much of the interior because Aki had exceptional tastes. With the exception of a couple rooms that Hiroki always felt could use a different wallpaper. "But maybe we should hear the Will out first? And see what Aki's wishes were. I wouldn't want to make any assumptions of my position or his decisions on his property."

"It's hardly a presumption." Akihiko replied, setting the chopsticks down and looking up at Hiroki. "Someone has to take the house and it will, no doubt, be one of the two of us. Ojisan wouldn't leave it to Yuuji because... well in his eyes, Yuuji was just an employee. Not family. I'm the only family left by his standards... and you're his second in command." The young man sighed slightly, moving the tray away and standing from the bed. "I'm not him and I don't want this house. Even if it's left to me, I'll give it to you if you'll take it. If not then I'll offer it to Yuuji. Doubt he'll have left me anything anyway." For a moment, Narcissus was silent. He walked to the bay windows, able to see Yuuji and Ko from his room as they fed the Koi in the garden. "I'm betting there's a contingency clause in his will stating that I should get this and that... provided I'm married. The terms in regards to Ohayou are already known. It's mine and yours and we'll make it work somehow... with Yuuji backing us up. But his property, his things... he won't leave them to me. Hell, I'm glad I bought the old house from him before he died otherwise I'd bet my home wouldn't be mine after that will's read." Akihiko stood with his back to both men, his arms crossed over his body near the hips, blue eyes focused on the world outside the window. "My best and worst memories are from my own home. Not this one. He built this monstrous palace to escape what happened to his son. Idiotic b*****d... why would anyone want to forget any of their past? Good or bad... it makes you who you are." glancing over his shoulder, Narcissus smiled slightly at Hiroki. "Yuuji doesn't trust you, Asato... I'm not sure I should trust you either... But I don't have anyone else to turn to in this regard so I'll be clear and to the point. Right now, you're Chairman of Ohayou. Right now, my talents are best put to use building our defenses from a monetary stand point. And while I'll keep you informed of my plans and actions... I expect you'd do the same in regards to my career or Michi-kun's or Ruki's from your end. You're not my boss, Asato. You're my friend... and I want to find my reason to trust you."
