Hearing that he wasn't surprised that Kat would have been Psy's replacement. Knowing the kind of person she is and hearing about her past already he knew she would have been more than capable of handling it. But inside he was glad things turned out the way they did. It may be selfish of him to think so considering it cost the life of a powerful man, but he'd gladly admit it. At this point he couldn't imagine what would be like if he didn't have Kat here and now. Taking her hand he gave it a gentle squeeze. Makes me wonder if we would have had the opportunity to meet if you hadn't decided to retire. Course that would be the same for me if I hadn't let Rev freeze me in time. He downs the last of his coffee and gets up to clean his dishes. He tried to hide his sadness from the idea of it at all.

She got up and put her plate in the sink and got some more coffee.
"Well, I guess it's a good thing we don't have to wonder about it. You're here, and so am I....and I think we have a good thing going on with us."
She leaned her back against the counter and looked up at him as she sipped her coffee. She didn't want to think about how her life would be if he wasn't in it....she'd most likely have buried herself in her work once things had ended with her and Justin. But she didn't have to think about those things...Hauk was here, with her, and that was enough to make her happy.

Taking her dishes he cleans them and places them on the drying rack. Looking over at her he gives her a half smile, glad that she was on the same page with him on where they stand...for the most part. Without drying off his hands after rinsing the soap off them he moves in front of her and runs his wet fingers along her collarbone and along her shoulders. Resting his forehead on hers as he looks into her eyes. You only think? Are you starting to think I may be gay after all? He said teasingly as he ran his hands down her arms.

Good, alright I need to get to the club and get stuff done. He pulls her tightly in for a deep and mind tingling kiss before he breaks it off and goes to get ready. You wanna go to the Den tonight for dinner and movie? I think you need to break off from the nest a bit.

She sank against him when he kissed her and looked up at him when he ended the kiss.
"I suppose I can let you go get some work done. There's a few things I can get done today so I'll be ahead for the week. And I'd love to go to the Den tonight. I'm not sure if I'll see Ryzan around here or not, but I'd much rather not see him right now. I have skills, but he could turn me into a grunny or something if he got angry at me enough. stare "
She walked him to her back door and gave him another kiss goodbye before he left to go work at the club for awhile. She locked her door back and went to finish cleaning up the kitchen and then got to work on her laptop.

Liada walked into the main bar and looked to see no one was around yet. She was surprised how fast the crew was able to get all the decorations and such already cleaned up so fast but again Katana wouldn't be the best at her job if they weren't. She goes behind the bar to mix up a drink and then sits down on one of the stools thinking over about how the weekend's been going.

Finished with what she wanted to get done as far as MW business was concerned, she checked the time and decided to go change and head up to the bar for a bit to wait on Hauk. Once she had her laptop packed away, she headed to her bedroom to decide what to wear.
Not too much later, she was back in the living room, changed and ready to head upstairs. She grabbed her phone and proceeded to lock up and make her way upstairs. She entered the bar from the office and saw Liada seated at the bar.
"Hey...did you have fun last night? biggrin "
She went behind the counter and made up a shaker of Sangria martinis. She grabbed a glass before she went around to have a seat next to Liada and poured her drink.

Her ears twitching at the sound of footsteps Liada turns her head to smile at Kat coming from the office. Yup, too bad there wasn't more men around though I would have liked to get a dance or two in. Oh well it was still enjoyable. I hope Ryzan being there didn't bring it too down for you.  She took a sip of her own drink and swayed her tail from side to side.
