Kimura Kou was left to sit for a while...until a nurse recognized him from somewhere.

"Isn't that the young man who was on the news with our patient?" she asked a co-worker, who stared at the college student for a long moment.

"You know what....I think it may...it may be." the other nurse replied.

After much deliberation and internet searching, they confirmed his identity from a picture online...the one where he was kissing Ryu, or, more so, Ryu was kissing him.

"Excuse me, are you Kimura-san?" the first nurse came up to Raito and asked.

After checking his identification, Raito was escorted back to the room where Ryuukaze lay, the first person to be allowed entry to the unconscious star.

"Mm....well you're doing better than me if you just broke a pot and burned yourself. You can't even imagine how many times I've messed up in the kitchen." he said with a bit of cheer to his voice. "You know recently I tried to make breakfast and ended up...mm...turning the mixer on too high and spraying the eggs everywhere...even the ceiling." He was lucky to have made it that far because Izzy's cooking skills consisted of frozen dinners and toast. The only exception was one single cake that Jun had walked him through step by step. Even then, it wasn't the best cake in the world.

"So...maybe frozen dinners might help while you're learning how to take care of yourself." Yes, to Izzy it was a safe recommendation but he had a feeling Akihiko probably would have something to say about that. He sniffled a bit and wiped his nose trying to think of positive stuff to say.

"Well, we will see each other soon." he sighed because he could hear that Chiyou wanted to cry but Izzy didn't want to go down that road. So he kept a positive outlook. "Awh...and we've prezzies too for you. Hah! I've got a tons of antibiotics and a nursemaid right here." he smirked at the thought of Akihiko in a nurse's uniform. "So I'm working on getting better right now. I have to get well quickly if I'm going to sing soon, right?."

"Oh...and Hiroki-san has returned to Ohayou so things at the company should be smoothing out." said Izzy figuring that every little bit of good news would make things easier on Chiyou. "Ah...yes, and my Aunt and Uncle are in town too. Maybe you'll get to meet them at Akihiko's concert this week if you come."

Kou was very surprised when the nurses offered to take him back to see Ryuukaze. The guards still weren't too keen on letting him in though even after the identification. But finally one of them relented and allowed him inside.

However, he wasn't allowed alone with the star. One guard stayed inside the room. Man...stardom wasn't easy. Of course, Kou had to wonder how the nurses knew WHO he was. He was afraid to ask because he had a suspicion that it was because of...that kiss. Ugh.

So, he carefully sat down beside the star's bed and looked him over. What a mess. Kou didn't get worked up like other people might. He wasn't going to freak out because doing so wouldn't help and certainly wouldn't earn any favors from Mr. Bulky that watched him from the corner of the room.

He wondered if Ryuu had any family that needed to be informed. However, Smash probably took care of those sorts of things...right? Great. Kou didn't have a clue. He hardly knew anything about Ryuu beyond what he did for work. And well, he wondered how long the man would be off his feet now.

Then Kou sighed again trying to figure out why the heck Ryuu didn't call him BEFORE he started driving? Or why didn't the star use a hands free set? He put his head in his hands not really certain what he should be doing now...except wait.

A small smile began to fight it's way onto the young vocalist's face, just a little bit at a time, until Hideki finally laughed.

"You did....what? Eggs on the ceiling? Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!" the small blond caught a case of the giggles pretty quickly after hearing something like that.

"Yeah...frozen dinners. I guess I should start eating those for a while..." he agreed, like a child following a parent's wishes, eager to go along with what must obviously be sound advice.

"Presents? Oh boy! Santa came!" Chiyou giggled, sounding just like the little boy Izzy Lucky would remember so fondly...the child he had managed, had parented in so many ways.

"Yes...get well, papa! I can't wait to see everybody real, real soon! Oh...and Ruki...I love you." the sweet star added, feeling so much better now that he had talked with his closest "relative".

(((OOC: Sorry this is so late. Yesterday I was cracking pecans since we gotta send them out soon and then my mom wanted to get a Christmas Tree so we went to Walmart in Cuero and got a tree but they didn't have a tree stand... so we went to Dollar General in Cuero... nothing... HEB in Cuero... nothing... Tractor Supply in Cuero... nothing. So we ended up going ALL THE WAY to Victoria and went to Big Lots and finally got one. By the time we got home I was exhausted and ended up going to bed at 9pm after eating dinner and sleeping FOREVER. Just finished watching the Dallas Cowboys game and now am finally posting! After this I need some lunch... so hungry... No wait... now they want to go to the storage rooms and get more Christmas stuff... -facepalm- THIS POST WILL NEVER BE FINISHED!!!)))












Inside Ryu's room, Ishihara waved the guards away, telling the large men that their presence within the hospital room would not be needed. In fact, he'd rather no security be in the room itself at all, especially as long as he himself was present. If Kimura intended any harm to the violinist, the shark would easily deal with the man using his own hands. The guards grumbled a bit about being called up in the first place, but begrudgingly kept watch outside the door instead.

While Kimura sat at the musician's bedside, You pulled out his surface tablet and began to compose his report in regard to what had occurred earlier that afternoon shortly after the funeral. As he did so however, he couldn't help but think back to his first encounter to Kimura Kou...

FLASHBACK:

Bag with his surface tablet and cell in hand, Ishihara You walked through the hospital lobby. He flashed his credentials at the nurse's station and was promptly told what floor and what room Ryuukaze was being cared for in.
On his way to the elevator however, his dark eyes spotted a rather familiar face. After all, he'd studied this stranger in depth due to the necessity of his job and the familiarity the man seemed to have with a certain star of SMASH.
No sense in making the poor man wait...
"Kimura Kou I believe?" You spoke politely, handing the young man his business card. "I must thank you for reporting the injury." he didn't say Ryu's name... not out here. "Would you care to join me upstairs? I know you're not family but certainly friends are allowed. While your call has caused me more trouble on an already troublesome day," he smiled. "I more than welcome your determination to get the report in to my secretary. I can assure you that you will not be kicked out of his room. Not if I can help it anyway. Come with me, please." he shooed away the nurses, wondering why the women even knew about Ryuukaze in the first place.
His phone calls earlier should have sealed the lips of the staff here... he would have to put in a formal inquiry and complaint. No doubt jobs would be lost over this obvious breech of security.
Once in the elevator... a completely private and deserted elevator oddly enough, Ishihara spoke up once more. "I met with Ryuukaze-san the other day in regards to his public display of affection with you, Kimura-san. I'm sorry for any inconvenience he's caused you. I... suspect that he and you are much more than friends at this point. Of course I don't expect an answer to that, it's merely an observation. I would like to warn you however that Ryuukaze-san has a penchant for disaster so please, mind your footing. Just earlier today he very nearly ran over his ex and now this. I suppose SMASH will be hiring him a driver now. Oh, he is in stable condition by the way, though I doubt he's awake just yet. Will you be staying with him? If so, will you need anything brought to you?
A perfect company man. Polite, considerate, and on top of things. Of course the shark simply wanted to know more about this new lover of the violinist while he had the man all to himself..















"I haven't exactly hit my head lately." Azriel remarked, though then he remembered how untrue that was.
Had running face first into Izo's door caused the cyst?
Had fainting and dropping like a lead rock in the spider's office caused it?
"No wait... I did but it barely even left a bump. I've hurt my head far worse before." sighing, the vocalist followed the Doctor back into the other room, obviously annoyed.
This was going to be a pain. Herbal medicines weren't really the sort of drugs that messed with Azriel's system, which was a good thing. But having to experiment to see which ones worked... that was going to suck.
Blood tests and x-rays and even a urine test were all performed without Katsu so much as batting an eye. Unlike Hiroki, the bat had no fear of needles whatsoever.
Vitamins was not something that Azriel had wanted to fool with, but rather than argue, the young man figured he should at least try it. Not like he hadn't been on a vitamin regiment in the PIT before anyway.

But how was he supposed to get himself 'play time' in the PIT without the Doctor interfering or the spider worrying?
"Since I'm already here... and since my pet will be far too busy today in light of recent events to tear himself away from work, least there be too many questions in regards to his behavior..." Katsu glanced to Izo, knowing it was really this man's permission he needed. "I was wondering if I might amuse myself for a few hours in the PIT? Perhaps I'll find something new to tease my pet with... or maybe I'll pick up a master's trick or two that somehow I've managed to neglect? Either way... it'd be far more entertaining than spending the rest of the day and evening home alone..."

"Hiroki-san is right. They can't be with you forever. Imagine... you an adult, still getting them to translate things for you..." Yuuji shook his head at the mere idea. "You'll never be independent unless you can read, Ko-kun. It's one of the most important skills you'll ever learn. Music can transport you to different feelings... but so can words. You would be denying yourself a great adventure if you couldn't read. I... wait what? Soccer game? When did this come up?" the man asked, quite perplex about the whole thing.
















But Naoko wasn't even awake any more. Oddly enough too because he hadn't been that tired when they'd started sharing the massage chair.
Somehow though... well... it was like his 'relax' button had been turned on and the sleep just overtook him, much as it had his brother.

Look... it's not like I TOLD anyone that I wasn't posting. When you share a damn phone with someone else, one doesn't always have the ability to send a text to tell someone else. I got sick last night even though I had half my posts finished and figured I could post them up today because we've been slow on posts this week anyway. I got annoyed about it, Kaiko fixed my annoyance, and so I was able to rework the post without having to delete the original post.

I know that each of our worlds things are tough for many reasons....money, family, living situations, work....etc. But let's just try to remember that we're all here to have fun and it is the Xmas holiday season. There are lots of people that have less than we out there. And while the now may seem stressful, things will improve. So be thankful for what we do have and try not to over think things.

On the 11th of December we will have reached 3 years! And wow...amazingly enough our boys are 3 years old. Well some of them are younger because I came in later. But that's pretty cool! Hah...and they've only made it through a year of life in the game. And well...I have to say in many ways WE have it easier than them. Even if they are more wealthy and famous. Hah...they have us tossing crap their way all the time. So glad I'm not Naoko or Ryuu...or Izo...

So life is GOOD. )))

FLASHBACK:

"Ah...yes...that's me." Kou said as he stood up and carefully took the business card with both hands and looked it over. He was rather surprised to see such a high up representative of Smash here so soon. Ok maybe he shouldn't have been surprised but he didn't deal with this sort of thing in his life. "Umm..sure...Well...thanks..."

Kou watched as the man shooed the nurses away and followed him down the hall. For the most part, Kou kept to himself. Because what did one say in a situation like this. As they got on the elevator, Kou hoped things would just go easy and he could see Ryuu then figure out what to do next. Well, yeah..he wasn't sure what to do next except let the doctors do their thing and try to stay out of the way.

He listened to what Ishihara-san had to say and was a little taken back by the whole thing. He suspects we're more than friends? But we only had a little fun yesterday....It wasn't like they were an item yet. That would take some time. What was this guy thinking that they were doing??

Kou bit his lip and shoved his hands in his coat pocket staring for a moment at the buttons on the elevator wall. "Yeah...seems like he gets into a lot of trouble on his own. Maybe a bit clumsy too. Wait!" his eyes turned and glanced at the other man.

"He did what? Almost ran over his.....ex?" Kou's eyes widened wondering if it was on purpose or accidental. Holy crap! His eyes turned back to the buttons as thoughts shot through his head. Seriously?!

"Uhh...well I won't be staying all night so I won't need anything brought here. I mean...well....I mean I wouldn't mind staying but I have to work tomorrow. I couldn't stay over night. And I don't want to get in the way." comment Kou as the elevator doors slid open upon their arrival. "I just want to make sure he's ok and doesn't need anything. I mean shouldn't his family be called for??"

(((OOC: I don't know... I wouldn't mind being Michi. Nothing really bad has happened to him... yet... -shifty eyes- If I had to pick 1 person I wouldn't want to be, it'd probably be Az. I seem to enjoy making him miserable more than Naoko of late... maybe because making Az miserable doesn't result in people dying... -shrug-

And yeah, I know. Believe me... I've had to give that speech about ten times this week alone. I guess today I just gave up being optimistic for a while and let myself feel like crap for once. You guys are the only people I can rant to because if I rant to either of my parents they end up feeling guilty which makes me feel even worse and if I rant on Facebook other family will see it and then tell my parents. So when I go off on a rant, just realize it's not you who's incurred my wrath, haha. It's really everything else and probably something minor and stupid just made me totally snap (like today). I mean, I felt so bad when I saw that earlier that I almost started crying. I think a combination of my diet and my medications are playing super havoc with my hormones... but I have to stick to both otherwise I have to have a gastric bypass surgery and I'd rather that not happen (mostly cause I can't afford it without insurance).

I mean, you know the drug Fen-Phen (fenfluramine/phentermine)? Well I'm taking the Phen (phentermine) side (the Fen side is no off the market for causing heart problems) as an appetite suppressant combined with Metformin (which is actually an anti-diabetes drug but it's working to shut my liver up) which also suppresses appetite. I talked to my parents about it because they've noticed my super crabbiness lately and they think it's the Phentermine PLUS the fact that I've got as much Testosterone as a boy at this point (taking medicine to help that too) so I'm super aggressive a lot of the time. So until I can lose the weight I'm probably going to be randomly cranky and moody. I can't help it. Just smack me over the head and tell me to shut up and deal with it. xp
God knows Kaiko's wanted to tell me to shut up at least once today, hahahahaha.

I wish we could have some sort of event for the 3 Year Anniversary... but I don't know what we should do. Any ideas? I've had a serious lack of creativity lately...)))

"First off, he has no family so there is no one to contact." Ishihara was saying as the elevator slowly ascended. "Secondly, you can take the day off work. If I'm not mistaken... Matsumoto-san was the one who introduced you to Ryuukaze-san in the first place. Your wages for the day will be compensated by SMASH and your place of employment will not give you any trouble about the matter. Many of SMASH's staff and stars frequent your establishment... though you may not have realized it and though I myself have never had the pleasure of seeing you work..." his dark eyes flickered over Kou as if sizing him up for a moment. "I'm more than certain you're a wonderful entertainer in your own right. Being a host can't be easy, though perhaps in a way our jobs are similar. You make your clients happy... I make my boss happy. If your clients aren't happy, you don't get paid. The same goes for myself as well. I can certainly understand your work ethic... but..." Ishihara shrugged slightly. "Perhaps it would be best for yourself and for Ryuukaze-san if you were to remain with him tonight and tomorrow." for a moment he tapped his lip then smiled, "Ah right, you're a college student, yes? No doubt studying right now... I can have your books brought here if you'd like. It's a nice quiet atmosphere so it might do you some good, academically."

(((OOC: MICHI! Yes, he's probably the most realistically normal boy in the game. Hahah...yeah he hasn't had the crap ton of bad stuff happen to him...yet.
No, I wouldn't want to be Az or Naoko. But if I had to take my chances being a character, I might choose Izzy. Things are coming up a bit more positive - super sexy BF that looks like Gackt, who likes to cook and listens to him. And has his own money and career. Ah...yeah if only I could be so dang lucky.

As far as the diet, drugs and all that. My really honest opinion is start a home workout program with your body weight. You don't need to buy any weights. You've got your own weight to do it for your.. Download some of the exercise programs from the internet. I can help you get a few good ones. The weight comes off so much faster once you start working out. Even if it is only a little bit to start. I know my life is 100% better from getting my weight down and keeping a workout routine in my life

Hahha... yeah....I thought about that while I was in the mall. LOL.

Mmm.. I will have to think about it. All the boys are in a meh place right now. So it's hard to come up with an event for them without going off topic. Hahah

The other man didn't answer his question about the Ex so Kou didn't press further. Was the other person alright? Man....Ok. So maybe he'd ask Ryuu about it later but yeah. Scary thought, ne?

"Ah.. I didn't know that." Kou said trying to figure out what he DID know about Ryuu. Ok so he knew all the albums and probably several places the man toured but as for his personal life. Well he was a fan not a fanatic. "Oh...Matsumoto-san is his boss...well um...Yes. Ok. Are you sure? I mean I really can't afford to get fired from my job. And well, New Years is coming up. Work...well it's pretty intense on the New Years. Guess...he...mm." he and I aren't going out for the new years was what he didn't.

"I do ok as a host. I'm not the highest paid host but I do alright." answered Kou with a smile. Unlike the people he was around, Kou wasn't the number one, famous or wealthy. He worked hard and gave entertain performances through cosplay but he wasn't big time. He made better money as a cosplay host than he ever could working at a restaurant or retail store so that's why he stayed.

"Umm...well I suppose I can stay tonight and tomorrow if my boss won't mind. But, Tuesday is New Years. As a host I can't really miss it if you know what I mean. My boss would freak. I'm not off from school because I opted for the accelerated courses so after the New Years I'm back to classes. They don't give as many breaks." Kou was actually a very studious young man and obviously had good working ethics too.

(((OOC: Yeah but Izzy went through some pretty brutal uh... stuff...

Mmm see I asked my Dr. about that and she said that I could workout but until my liver stops producing sugar like I'm a starving Ethiopian kid, working out won't make me lose weight at all. I mean I was going to the gym 3 times a week and doing the treadmill and bike for 2 hours each time, plus I was watching what I ate and staying under 700 calories a day and I didn't lose a single pound... and I did that for like 6 months. I'm actually looking a tiny bit thinner and I don't eat as much when I do eat... but having 0 carbs means I really don't have the energy to workout. I'm lucky to do dishes and laundry and pickup the house each day I'm so tired... I figure once my body gets through the drastic diet shock that I might be able to start doing something... I've got the Zumba one you gave me and the Insanity workout too... I may start doing step aerobics walking on my wii fit again to give myself some sort of boost. I can do that and watch anime for an hour so at least I wouldn't be thinking about it. If I need to add weights in at any point I can just use my katana as a weight and switch arms every ten minutes or something.

See! See! You did want me to shut up hahahaha! I don't blame you really. Sometimes I just gotta rant and rave. Think of how much worse I'd be if I wasn't RPing... my poor boys take a lot of my moodniess onto their own skins.

Well no I was thinking something more for the three of us as like a commemorative sort of thing... but I don't know what. I mean I know it can't be something for our boys cause yeah that would make everything go off topic and it'd seem odd...)))

Ishihara replied, not thinking Kou to be any less of a host with such a statement. "Obviously you're doing something right to have garnered Ryuukaze-san's attention even when he was in another relationship. I hardly blame you for the breaking of their bond, of course. That's mostly attributed to Ryuukaze-san's flightiness. But don't worry, I'll have it all arranged and you'll go back to work without any consequences whatsoever. Call it a paid vacation." You smiled at the man, trying to be friendly.
And yet also wanting to gauge this strange host as much as possible.
"As for Ryuukaze-san's ex... he was fine. Luckily one of the other funeral attendees shoved him out of the way. I don't think poor NAKO-san ever even saw the car coming." yes he would make it sound like Ryu had done it on purpose...
In Ishihara's mind, Ryuukaze needed to remain with Naoko and vice versa. It made things, not only simpler but safer in multiple ways. Ryu would keep Naoko in check and Naoko would keep Ryu happy. Now he was having to rely on Shou keeping Naoko in check... and that certainly wasn't an optimal situation.
"Do you have any plans for the New Year, Kimura-san? I assume from what you said you would most likely be working?"

"Well then, maybe you got hit in just the right place. Sometimes these things happen, young man." said the doctor as he close the cart door and pushed it aside.

"Hmm??? You want to stay in the Pit and play today? Well certainly I don't mind." The doctor said with a slightly smile always relishing the darkness that surrounded the Pit's more sensual nature. Then he glanced over at Izo, "Is it ok if the boy stays and plays?"

Izo growled under his breath, "As long as you take the two guards outside this door with you, Azriel. Seems like I've got problems to deal with outside today."

"Ah..then, I won't keep you from your work." said the Doctor as he exited with his assistant and the cart.

As soon as the doc had left, Izo's gaze returned to Azriel. "So far, At the funeral, Naoko almost got ran over by Ryuukaze's car. And then some idiot from Ohayou saved Naoko's life and afterwards tried to take off with him in a run. Ishihara chased them down and obviously Naoko had not planned any of this. Shou panicked but the guard managed to tuck him into a limo. Oh and after all this....Ryuukaze get into a car accident and now is in the hospital requiring surgery."

Then he paused and squeezed his eyebrows as if trying to imagine all this happening as it had. "Don't get into trouble here, Azriel. I've had my fair share today. Ishihara is trying to handle the media right now. I don't need another issue...Find a new toy to tease your pet and amuse yourself for a short time. But take your medication first. And I'll have a car waiting for you in the garage."
