Once she had given the caterer instructions to have the food ready by seven Gaia time, she turned her attention to the DJ who had arrived to set up early. She chatted with him for a few moments and then left them to their own devices, knowing full well they were capable of completing the tasks of converting the bar into a twenties style speakeasy. The bartender would take care of setting up the cocktails later on before the party started.

Tossing her empty cup, she made her way back downstairs to her quarters. She went into her bedroom and undressed, slipping back into bed with Hauk and snuggled up next to him, his arms wrapping around her and pulling her close.

Hauk woke up shortly after Katana crawled back into bed. Looking at the time he realized his outfit for tonight's anniversary dinner was back at the Den and he grimaced. stressed Kissing Katana awake he told her he was gonna have to take off to get changed and said he'd be back in time for the dinner. Getting out of bed he changed into some clothes he left for such an occasion and took off back to the Den to get ready for tonight.

Kat entered the bar from the office and went over to where Scott was bartending tonight. She smiled at him and asked him for a pomegranate martini as she looked over the bar with a cursory glace. Everything seemed to be in order and she settled in on her usual seat and gratefully took her martini from him.

She hadn't planned any parties in awhile, what with the crazy summer and all. She was glad that everything looked good and pulled out her phone to check her messages while she waited for Hauk to arrive with Liada and Anira.

Anira could not help but give a wide smile at the thought. It is very much an entertaining idea. He has not known you long so he can only see what he sees. Perhaps it is from his own experience that he felt the need to point it out? We elves tend to be a bit "in the dark" as one would say when it comes to what our heart feels. Dark elves even more so than my kind. As they enter the bar she looks around and admires the decor. When she sees Kat she gives a wave and walks up to the bar. Good evening Ms. Katana, long time no see. You look wonderful tonight.

You better believe it's your fault. His biggest point was the ever changing outfit from last night claiming that I did it since I couldn't make up my mind of what to wear. stressed He calms down a bit once he gets into the bar. Kat did a top notch job of the decorations and the theme and when he turned to see her at the bar he smiled brighter. He was very thankful to have someone like her to keep him level....for the most part. Wrapping his arms around her he rubs his nose on hers and smiles. Hey, you look ravishing as always tonight. Great job on the look of the place here.

Well I give my apologies then for ruining your life like the good mother I am. If you want I can give it straight to him but I doubt he'd believe me. Liada waved to Kat before ordering her drink from Scott and smiled at the girl. So I hear you been brainwashing my poor Hauk from his proper place in life. rofl

She snickered at Liada's comment and shook her head.

"Anira...I told him once I knew several ways to kill him and he asked me to lunch and then took me to a casino. lol He likes dangerous women, I think. xd "

She wrapped her arms around Hauk's waist when he enveloped her in a hug.

"You look pretty good yourself. biggrin " She turned and made a face at Liada without letting go of Hauk.

"Pft....Hauk is with me because he chooses to, not because of anything I'm doing to him. rolleyes Unless you count the fact that I care about him.... lol "

She turned and looked back up at Hauk's face. "Where's all your hair? How'd you get it up under that hat without any of it poking out?"
