Liada smiled wickedly as she got control of the book standing opposite to the succubus. Indeed. As a gesture of my good service Mabb gave unto me some very ancient books of magic and lore that were created from creatures more powerful than ourselves. This one in particular had some interesting bits that may be to our use. She laid the book open between them and turned it just so for Leko to read. Leaning down to the book she pokes a claw into the pages growling softly to it. Now behave or I WILL burn off some of your edges. evil

Liada sipped away at her soda as Leko read the book. Nodding in agreement when she mentioned about the language. When she was ready she placed down her drink and tapped at the book and it turned on its own to face her. Well there are still some parts hazy to me since, as you've seen, the wording in here is beyond me. But in the parts that I can read it talks about the ultimate sources of life itself, let alone magic. If I can decipher what that can be we may have our method of magic transfer!

Liada looked over the pages and flipped back a bit and then back forward in the book. Her ears twitched and tweaked as she pondered in thought. Well if I'm "attempting" to read this correctly the creature it mentions constantly through this has many names. No one is sure where the origination begins but it all comes down to one name in particular that any of our kind would know....I'm sure you're familiar with the name Hecate yes??

Liada glanced over to the patron arriving and held onto the book tighter to prevent it trying to escape again. Looking back to Leko she flips to one page she had bookmarked. Well she's been popping up in numerous religions, myths, legends, and numerous continents. Overall they all bring it back to the point that she is a major symbol of Life and Death in a constant circle much like the Ouroboros. If she really is something that is that powerful it may behoove us to go search for her and see if there is a way to get what we both desire.....the troubling factor is deciphering all this to find out exactly where. She pauses to take a sip of her drink and flip through the pages back and forth.

((no worries, everyone deserves a get out of jail free card - that and I'm mentally 15 minutes behind today  )) *has always had a fascination with the Ouroboros* *somehow this all seems to make perfect sense almost like it's causign her to remember things from before* Well, we're better brush up on our dead language use then

Liada giggled as she remembered what Leko told her before when she was the fox demon's nurse. This is true, Hm...I could probably look over the other books that I got from Mabb and see if I can decipher this one more. How are things for my favorite demon otherwise?
