Hauk was in the kitchen attempting to stop the bleeding from the door frame hitting his nose. Once he felt he was good he cleans up and overhears the girls talking so he heads out into the living room where they were. Thankfully Liada was wearing pants so he breathed an inner sigh of relief, until he saw the bandage around her arm and an eye patch over one of her eyes. A tic pricked in his jaw as he held back angry remarks in order to hold back his promise to Kat. Walking around the couch where they were sitting Hauk has a seat in the opposite chair. So how much am I gonna be pissed on this?

She snorted when she saw Liada hit Hauk upside his head. He was most definitely going to pay later on as well, her mind was already considering possibilities as she listened to Liada speak. She decided she would just keep quiet for the moment.

Liada heard the tone in his voice and could feel his anger, frustration, his fear. Kat was right he's been beating himself up terribly in the last 24 hours. She sighed and ran her ringers through her bangs. The light glinted off of her patch as she stared at Hauk straight in the eye. Its not all that simple luv. Basically Queen Mabb is going through a possible mutiny within her court. It is not the first time it has happened but she is not strong enough to take care of it on her own, and her allies have been fading away whether through death or betrayal. She has very few people to rely on in this matter and so she has called upon me to investigate the matter. Its not only the fact that I do this out of obligation of our relationship in the past but also for the fact that if anything happens to Mabb, I may very well cease to exist myself.

Looking over to Kat he saw how upset she was getting. He realized he was getting too upset to think straight and so he stepped back a moment and went to sit down on the floor. Crossing his legs and laying his arms lazily in his lap he closed his eyes and took deep breaths. Giving a small chant in Norse as he exhaled. Kat was about to ask what he was doing until Liada placed a hand on her knee to silence her and let him continue. After a minute or two of chanting and breathing Hauk slowly opened his eyes and looked to the girls. Okay....I think I can continue. I'm sorry Katana. He gave a look of sincere regret but he kept his pose as he turned his head to face Liada. What kind of mutiny are we talking here?

She gestured for Hauk to rise and sit on her other side of the couch. Once Hauk did so she gently took his hand and with her other one took Kat's. Closing her eyes she mentally threw images scrolling through there minds like one would watch a movie reel. Showing glimpses of her past as she spoke...

As you both are well aware that I was not always Fae. I was a mortal animal and in my death I was reborn through Queen Mabb. I was bound to her in service for thousands of years and even though I am unbound of her service I am bound to her magic. My body now was created by her and thus my own powers as well. When Mabb's powers fade, so do mine, when she thrives I thrive even stronger. But right now she is very weak due to the lack of humans faith in the old ways. Because of this she has been laid open to others in the Fae court who wish to overthrow her and take over as ruler of the Fae. There is the slight possibility that because of my connection as well as dependability of her magic that if Queen Mabb were to die, I would die with her for my body would no longer have the source of its creation. This is why I have been fighting with her to usurp the traitor in her court and end this before it is too late. Once I am done with this coup de tat I will be in search of a new magic source so that I will not have this threat again. Removing her hands from theirs she gives them a moment to adjust before continuing and faces Hauk. I know you fear of losing me child but it was because of this fear I have kept it secret from you. I didn't want this to become an obsession for you to try and assist me when you would only end up dead, and breaking my promise to your mother. Anira has seen it as a possibility in her vision years ago before I unfroze you.

Hauk held onto his head for a moment as the images faded from his mind. He couldn't believe what he was hearing or what he saw but he knew it to be truth. He felt Liada's emotions in all those memories and it only made him feel like a jackass even more. He kept silent as Kat asked Liada about the magic source. His mind racing to figure out how the hell he could be of any use to her.

She nodded, "Well, Leko's damn near as old as you...no offense....so I'm sure if the two of you put your heads together, you'll figure something out. 3nodding "
