Sorry about the pic size, I've never tried to photo a miniature before and tried to get it as lit as possible. 2 quick picks of the quillboar giant I mentioned. A pic of his leg that I sculpted out of greenstuff and a wider shot to get a load of the whole model. If you like it please comment or message me. eek

I did couple of conversion over a year and here is one of them.

I also have libarian with avatar's sword as his force weapon and hold small book in his left hand.

My friend and I made my librarian out of an old all metal deathcompany marine, with a sprue/chainaxe converted into a baaaaad looking force weapon, and we took a Chaos battle pack, mounted it upside down, and glued a WFB tombstone on it. Looks good. Other than that, I've put some scrolls on my dreadnought, and even made my mcragge marines all have robes and such. Hahaha!

Here's my only problem with the Vandalcare Assassin that you have:

Ridiculously huge weapons are fine for Marines, because they've been souped up to be able to carry ridiculous amounts of weight. A human...slightly less so. That rifle would be insanely heavy, though the fact that Vindicares set up days in advance would help it to make a bit more sense.

Besides, tis only about a half an inch taller than a dreadnought! biggrin
And the setting up in advance is what I'm using as my fluff...
I can't use her anyway. I don't have any inquisition.
Sadly...

Hellsing comes to mind with the large rifle.

You are the fourth person to say that...

I think converting is one way of saving money. I was able to use the baneblade tank commander parts to make two commisars, saving me a nice chunk of money. I've also made some sniper rifles useing cadian lasguns with the pole from their comsets along with a scope on top.

This is my converted organ gun that I did when I first started collecting again. It's one of my favorite war machines and the regular model just didn't seem to convey how awesomely devastating it really is. It uses parts from the plastic organ gun/canon sprue, the anvil of doom, the old gyrocopter, and some bits from the plastic giant sprue.
