Iñigo was more upset that he actually got himself hit rather than actually being hurt. He knew that he had to take this seriously now. He took his eyes off of the seeker tryout for a minute, hoping to actually get this target this time. He was one for two at the moment and knew that he wanted to be two for three. So, he reached the bludger and swung at it with great power. And as he swung, he had knew that he was going to get this one. And with a rather sweet contact with the bludger, it was sent into the target with great power, knocking the target back a few yards, which he took great pride in.
Now that he knew he was over fifty percent hit rate on the day, he decided to turn to the seekers again, noticing that Shayna had found the snitch. He also seen her release it and wait a few seconds before actually going after it. He hoped that she gave the others a fighting chance this time. The other's needed practice and the seventh year was basically a shoo in to get the Seeker spot on the starting X1. Not even really basically. She probably would get it even if she did horrible, mainly on experience. And he wasn't sure how game ready the other kids were at the moment. Lexine had the most experience out of the others and it was easy to tell, but the others were trying and that's all that could be asked of them.

spaceEcho managed to evade the first year's attempt to steal from him, though the kid did manage to get pretty close. He supposed that was impressive, although he was hardly a star player. His sister would argue that he was 'naturally gifted', which irked him to no end, but the fact of the matter was that he did seem to have a knack... hopefully it would carry over now that he'd switched positions. After all, even with a bit of training... he might've just been a good Keeper. He brushed the thought aside and continued on towards the goal posts, hoping to make it, if only so that Timothy got a chance to try and save.

Benjamin grimaced as the boy progressed forward with high pace, but Benjamin for whatever reason could fly a broom very quickly. He wasn't the best of flyers and he most certainly didn't look extremely...smooth on it, but he traveled fast...and he had an okay control over the speed. He was able to get his position back and try for another steal. He tried from below this time, hoping to take some kind of element of surprise, but he figured the older boy definitely knew he was there. He flew up towards the target and went for the steal. But he completely misread Echo's movements and completely undershot the quaffle, which caused him to almost wobble a bit, but he kept his control and kept his pace high. He would get another chance surely, but he had to actually think the next one through, because Echo was close to the goals now.

spaceEcho smiled as Benjamin failed another attempt to steal and he was able to close in on the goalpost. As soon as he was within range, he took aim and threw the ball. He wasn't quite sure what he wanted more, for it to've been a good shot and go in, or for Timothy to successfully block it. He supposed either would be fine; they weren't exactly rivals, after all. Not really, anyway. Hopefully, the shot would be a good shot, and Timothy would manage a save anyway. That way, neither of them ended up looking bad.

Eugene showed up in the pitch with an old yet sturdy Nimbus broom given to him by his dad. He simply said that he wanted to play Quidditch and he said "Yes" as if he really mean it. And then he gave him the Nimbus broom he saw in a shop during their stroll in the Diagon Alley, but it looks old but sturdy as if he rarely used it or maybe he took care of it when he was a student. The only thing he said to him upon giving him the broom was to work hard and not to break the broom.
He looked up and was confused. Was he already late? Did they already started? He did not know. He quickly grabbed a form and wrote it with his gel pen (something he usually used for drawing), and waved so that at least one Ravenclaw would noticed, especially when he did not know which one of the them was in charge.

Dalton had actually contemplated on trying out for the team at all this year because last year, he had been made a reserve for the position he least wanted. How idiotic was that? During breakfast this morning, which he did take his time on, the twelve year old thought long and hard about all the pros and cons on trying out. In the end, the pros weighed out the cons – even if only by a small amount – and he showed up on the pitch. Maybe by being late, he wouldn’t even have had a chance to try out. Upon seeing the purple haired captain, Dalton muttered, “Sorry I’m late.” In reality, he wasn’t all that sorry. Especially not since the only two options were being late or not showing up at all.
