GIkishou blinked in surprise at that, and his mother who was watching the scene from the doorway stifled a laugh.GIkishou put a hand on his shoulder" Not really an insult, just not all that accurate." He told him with a smile.

"Ah, I see. I'm still sorry, though," Kyo said, extremely relieved. "I'm so glad you aren't upset." He laughed a little, but nervously as well. "It breaks my heart even at the thought of you being angry."

Gikishou was surprised by that, smiling some. "You won't have to worry about that. It's impossible for you to make me angry." He told him, ruffling his hair. The term he'd used was still a surprise to Gikishou. Kyo had said 'it breaks my heart'... and that made Gikishou happy in some way.

"Impossible? Well, in that case I won't have to worry about that anymore," Kyo said, smiling. "Anyway, I want to go to the roof and watch the fireflies. It's been quite a while since I've seen them." He was very eager to put the topic to rest and change the subject.

Gikishou nodded, heading to his room with kyo as they went through the standard procedure. He set him down and held him in his lap to keep him warm since it was getting a little chilly, but not too bad.

The fireflies were already out and flying around, often landing on the roof quite near them or landing on the two teens. They were most likely cold despite the light being so near them. Well, Kyo didn't blame them. The night was a bit cold, anyway.

Gikishou smiled as they watched him, ignoring the goosebumps on his arms. After all, he wasn't going to risk leaving Kyo alone outside at night to get a blanket, and he wasn't sure if Kyo could catch the ledge, or his hand, if he tried to help.

Kyo let his eyes close, but not because he wanted to sleep. All the tension that had built up for such a long time was fading away. It was funny how just being with someone can melt away a week's worth of discomfort.

There was a strange sound of a bell ringing, but it came from the sky. It was a very heavenly sound, but at the same time it was sad. What could it possibly mean?

Gikishouu was surprised by it as well, opening his eyes. He noticed that the shooting star had disappeared. He looked down at Kyo. "Did you hear it too?"

"Yeah, but I don't know what it means," Kyo said, still keeping his eyes closed. "What was that, anyway? It sounded like a bell."

Gikishou shrugged. "Dunno. Maybe we'll find out later." He said, smiling as he hugged him. "Are you cold?" He asked, wanting him to be comfortable.

"Eh? No, I'm fine," Kyo replied. "Don't worry about me. If I was cold, I'd probably already say so, right?" He didn't want to have to make Giki-san go back into the house to get a blanket and then have to carry back up to the roof. It seemed like it would be too troublesome to do so.

Gikishou nodded, but hugged him a little closer to his warm chest, just in case. A bunch of fireflies landed on Kyo's hand, and formed the shape of a heart.
