Hauk listened as she opened up more about her life, he only knew about the cop hurting her but who else would be daft enough to hurt this woman? He couldn't fathom someone wanting to take the fire out of this person who seems to chase all the pain inside him away. On the nights he spent with Kat he wouldn't have the nightmares of the past. He finally smiled back and pulled her close as he nuzzled his face into her chest. Here I thought I was the one always saying to not be bound by the past. How could it be? How is it I've gone so long without knowing someone like you Vilkat? He kisses her skin softly, running his hands up and down her sides as he moves to hover over her on the couch. His heartbeat starts to race as his knee with his good foot wedges in between Kat's legs.

"I don't know," She spoke softly. "I was beginning to wonder the same thing, how I've never met anyone quite like you."
She closed her eyes and hugged him close, then remembered something he had said earlier. Leaning her head back, she looked at him with a grin on her face.
"And I don't think anyone would refer to you as a 'runt' anymore. xd " She lightly ran her fingers up his sides, her nails barely grazing him.

 He busts out laughing and falls back on his side of the couch. He wasn't expecting that last part so it took him a moment to calm down. Oh trust me Vilkat...you would not have recognized me in my younger days....I did not get to my height until I was 19. I made a better scarecrow than a Viking! rofl

She chuckled, glad to see him laughing and out of his funk. "Well, I am most impressed with the final product. wink I"ll be right back." She got up and took their plates away and took them into the kitchen. She put them in the sink, putting off doing dishes until tomorrow. Heading back to the living room, she stood in front of him and held her hand out to him. "I think I still owe you some TLC, remember?  "

As Kat went to put away the dishes he finished the episode and flipped channels until Kat returned. Looking up at her he grinned and turned off the TV. Taking her hand he pulled himself up. Yes you did. Please take good care of me nurse. wink

She tiptoed up and kissed him lightly. "Oh, don't you worry about a thing, Viking. All you'll have to do is lay back and enjoy yourself. " She giggled and led him to her bedroom, where she helped him out of his clothes and lay him on his back on her bed. She held his gaze as she slowly undressed, dropping her clothes into a pile on the floor. Climbing up on the bed, she gave him another kiss, before looking deep into his eyes. "Let me take care of you tonight, Hauk." She murmured against his neck before trailing kisses down his neck and moving on to other areas.

Hauk would occasionally poke Kat's side here and there as she helped him undress, trying to get her to lose her composure in her role as his nurse. Once he laid on the bed and watched her he felt mesmerized and tried to remind himself that this was no dream. She was right, he should be thankful to Liada for forcing him to live on and bring him to this point in his life, bringing him to Kat. He would have said something in response but his words failed him as he felt her loving kisses along his skin. He hissed in pleasure as she teased and grazed his body with bites, nails, and at other times her touch was more torture being gentle then when she was a little rough. Later on when they were spent and exhausted Hauk spooned his fiery imp and held onto her tightly. Afraid that if he woke up in the morning that she would fade away like the mist. Inhaling her scent he finally lulls himself to sleep.

Hauk woke up when he heard his phone buzz on the nightstand. Grumbling in his sleep he glances at the screen and sees that its a text from Liada and knows its probably about the floor. Ignoring it he snuggles more against Kat who had turned around in her sleep and was nuzzled in his chest. Smiling at the site he tries to drift off back to sleep until his phone goes off again, checked it, it was Liada again. stare
Kissing Kat on the forehead he slips out of bed carefully. Tests his foot and is thankful its not broken but he keeps his weight off it as he walks out of the room to call Liada back in the living room. Once he got off the phone with the annoyed fox demon he turned to see Kat leaning on the door frame. He walks over to her giving her a good morning kiss and they head off into the kitchen to make a home made brunch.

Liada went into the main bar grumbling about the floor in the club. She knew that he was resourceful when he needed to be but overall this was a bit much.  She had gotten off the phone with him not too long ago and she was still miffed but at least he tried to set the floorboards back. Granted she didn't think it could result in that with the barrier but she only had herself to blame. Getting a Dew from the fridge she goes into the club via the side entrance to fix the floor completely and reopen the club.

After they had ate, she told Hauk it was much too nice of a day to spend cooped up indoors. So, the two of them packed a picnic lunch and took off in her car for Upper GGG to spend the day at the lake.

*Attending a formal social event at the country club tonight, Psy comes home in a limo with Kyle accompanying her. A driver holds the door for the two as they get out of the long luxury automobile and Kyle offers his arm to her as they walk to the private entrance to her chambers. She hands Kyle the ornate egg she's won that matches her ornate crown…also something from the event. Madam, you look as though you were born to wear a crown on your head. wink *Psy does the security measures and grins broadly at Kyle.*  Ha ha. Are you fishing for a raise my friend? wink *They both chuckle as they enter Psy's quarters. She thanks Kyle for escorting her as she walks him to the double red doors. He hands her back the egg and smiles at her.* It's my pleasure, Mistress. You shouldn't go without an escort. *She grins and she hugs him briefly.* Still, I appreciate it.  It's nice to go out. I miss that and I should just do it more often. *Kyle nods and says goodnight to Psy and she closes the door behind her. She brings her prizes into her bedroom and places the egg and her crown onto her dresser. She does her nightly beauty regiment, gets ready for bed, slips between the sheets and snuggles in. She had a lovely time tonight.*
