Hauk finished up his first helping and started work on a second helping of salad as Kat talked. Sipping his drink and looking at her thinking about what could be done. Well it would be no surprise if she has gone to supernatural methods or perhaps in one sense to her spiritual methods. We had many different goddess's of fertility in my days and I will admit once a woman of my clan was married there were many stirrings and craziness going about the rest of the handmaidens and such to produce children. Including praying to our goddess's. But in this modern day in age it would be wise to see someone and run a check up on her.

She nodded and took a bite of pasta. She smiled and was pleased with how it had turned out. "Well, I suppose we'll all have to wait and see. I do know I'm going to mention a doctor's visit to her the next time I see her." She sipped her martini and grinned at him. "So, how has the club been? Still have your fan club in attendance every night you're working?  "

Once he finished his second helping of the salad Hauk wiped his mouth and washed out the taste with his drink, refilling his and then Kat's drink before helping himself to the pasta and the moment he took a bite he closed his eyes and moaned again of the creamy taste of the sauce mixed in with the shellfish. Knull! This is amazing! He takes a couple more bites before washing it down and looking back to Kat. Well the club itself has been doing fine and well, busy on the weekends and a good hum of people on the weeknights. As for my "fan club" they had died down when that dark elf was frequenting a lot but lately he's been acting strange and wasn't around the last couple of nights. So now they have drifted back to the bar whenever I work.  Thankfully not all of them are hounding me and giving the other boys like Tony and Bruce some attention now.

She giggled and sipped her drink.
"Well, I guess the fact that you're dating me hasn't hindered them any. xd I'm pretty sure that was made public that time we danced at the club. lol "

Hauk remembered that night they danced and he got a small shiver down his spine from the image of Kat's body moving. Pushing it aside before he began to daze off he continued to finish his plate and went for a second helping of the pasta. Well in some cases women can be....desperate for lack of a better or more polite word. A lot of them didn't seem to have much shame when they were all over the dark elf. But thankfully I've only had to actually tell some persistent ones to stop and that I was taken else I sic the orcs on them. stare

She snickered, "Now, I don't think you need to sic the bouncers on them. Can't blame them for trying. wink "
She couldn't help but feel a bit satisfied that he had told his admirers that he was taken. That alone spoke volumes to her that he had said it so casually and she hadn't had to ask him.
They continued talking and soon finished the main course. She told him to sit while she went and got dessert. She took up the salad and pasta and went into the kitchen. She cut them both a piece of the cheesecake, giving him a much larger piece than hers, and opened a split of Prosecco. She poured the sparkling Italian white wine into glasses and set it on a tray along with the dessert.
She went back to the dining area and gave Hauk his dessert and wine before taking her seat again.
"I'm not sure if you've had Prosecco before, but it's rather nice to have with a sweet dessert such as this. 3nodding "

 Taking the glass poured for him he swirls the liquid a bit and then gives a sniff. Liking the aroma he takes a small sip and raises his eyes in slight surprise. Hmm, not bad. Never been much of a wine fan but this might break me of that. He then takes a bite of the cheesecake and narrows his eyes a bit. Hmm....I might have missed something in making this....

She sampled the cheesecake and found it to taste fine to her. "It's fine...what do you think you missed? " She took a sip of her wine and continued to eat her dessert.

Taking another bite and slowly savoring the taste, he keeps the critical frown on his face trying to place that missing thing. Not sure....perhaps a little less sweet or more fruit. I'm always picky on my own cooking. I developed the habit from my mor. She'd taste test her dishes at least 7 times before being satisfied. But she never criticized mine, I'm sure it was because I was her child afterall. xd

She smiled at him. "Well, I think it's fine, and I taste my dishes constantly. I usually wing it when I'm cooking, but baking? I go exactly by the recipe. Baking is more like a precise science sometimes. You can't really tweak a lot there, or you might not like the results you get. biggrin "
They finished dessert and Hauk helped her clear the dishes. Once she had put away the leftovers and quickly cleaned the kitchen, she poured them another glass of wine and they headed to the couch to pick out a movie.
She kicked off her boots and sank onto the couch, propping her feet on the coffee table.

Heading to the shelf of DVD's Hauk glanced over some of the titles seeing if there was anything good. He remembered that Kat mentioned On Demand as another option until he found one he hadn't seen in a long time. He pulls out Clue and pops it into the DVD player, turning to sit down on the couch next to Kat and gently pulls her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist loosely. Should I be surprised you have this movie? I love Tim Curry! He said excitedly placing a kiss on Kat's forehead.

She laughed. "I love Tim Curry. I should even have a copy of Rocky Horror Picture Show floating around here somewhere. biggrin "
She leaned over to grab her wine and leaned back against the arm of her overstuffed leather couch, watching the opening credits of the movie scroll on the screen of the TV.

As they watched the movie Hauk would occasionally idly play with the end of Kat's hair in one hand or draw circles with his thumb on the back of her hand that laid under his other. He would steal glances at her relaxed expression and then focused back on the movie and laughed at the scenes where the characters were running like crazy trying to figure out the mystery.

When she had finished her wine, she leaned over to set her glass on the coffee table, then settled back on Hauk's lap. She glanced at him, seeing he was concentrating on the movie and decided to see if she could disrupt that concentration.
She leaned over and placed a kiss on the hollow of his neck, slowly making her way up his neck and then nipped his earlobe.
"Enjoying the movie, Viking?" She breathed softly against his ear as she spoke in a hushed tone.

Hauk sighed softly feeling her soft lips on his skin. His eye fluttered closed when she moved to his ear and he wrapped one arm around her tighter and reached up to cup her face and angle it up to look at him. Well I was before I felt a bite from an imp. He claims her lips tracing the tip of his tongue on the bottom lip. Dropping his hand from her face he trails his fingers down her neck and down her chest just to the neckline of her dress before dropping down further to run his hand up her thigh. Is the imp enjoying the movie? He asks huskily in her ear before he tips his head to bite her neck where it meets the shoulder.
