 Oh I didn't realize you'd already considered getting in that deep with him.  Of course I'd be concerned about your happiness and well being. rolleyes I cannot believe you'd even THINK I wouldn't be concerned.  He'd be very wise not to go and do something so foolish.

She sipped her drink as Psy spoke to her.

She sighed exasperatedly, "Psy, build a bridge and get over it already. My God, it was one of the first times he was in here, there were like five people talking to him at once and you're over there barking at him to give you his email address. I really don't blame him for losing his temper...after all, not many people are fans of having orders barked at them by someone they just met."

*Raises an eyebrow at Katana and decides that tonight is just not the night to get into it with her. She'd had enough of that this morning. * Welp…I need to get going. *Gets up and takes her glass to the dishwasher, putting it inside.* Goodnight Kat. *She goes into her office, does the security scans and makes her way down the corridor to her chambers. She locks the door behind her and sighs heavily. She just should have stayed downstairs today. She goes into the bedroom and slips out of her clothes, leaving them in a pile on the floor, crawls into bed and curls up by herself to try and sleep.*

"Good night, Psy." She sighed after Psy had left. She just didn't get why Psy was acting like Hauk was not good enough for her to date. confused She got up and made another drink and propped an elbow on the bar, musing over her conversation with Psy to see if maybe she had misunderstood her friend's words somehow.

A portal opens nearby the jukebox and Liada slips out to hit the buttons. The first song starts up and the fox demon turns to walk up to the bar. Smiling at Kat and gives her a hug. Heya hun how was your day today?

She looked up and smiled at Liada when she appeared.
"Well, it went pretty good....and I guess it's still okay. I was talking to Psy about how Hauk and I are dating, and she made a reference about 'dating an employee' and she hoped it worked out so it wouldn't be awkward between us if it didn't. Oh, and she told me to tell him to cut his hair. rofl "
She chuckled and sipped her drink. "Like I'm gonna tell him to do anything with his hair. lol "

Liada listened to Kat as she walked behind the bar to make herself a drink and nearly tripped when she heard what Psy said, on both counts.  Okay the last time someone was stupid enough to cut his hair ended up being buried to their neck in cement. Literally. And secondly I'm surprised Psy would say anything about status considering that her brothers gave her such s**t when she married a cop, and a goodie goodie one at that.

She frowned as Liada spoke and thought about what she said. She did make a good point, her family was none too happy about her romancing a cop. Shrugging her shoulders, she sipped some more of her drink and glanced back at Liada.
"Yeah, I know. I know she means well, but still. confused It's not like I'm Hauk's boss to begin with. And, speaking of Hauk, I was debating on going to the club, but now I don't know. If it's really busy, he won't have time to talk anyways."

Liada sighs slightly and nods with Kat. neutral Psy may have her endearments but as we've seen she's not all in the best state of mind at the moment with her so gung ho must have baby right now. Plus I found out last night from her that the horse was a gift from "some guy". She didn't say much more since she went to bed herself but I don't have a good feeling about that. But she does what she does in the end. She looks to the door that led to IR and turned to look back at Kat. Well its up to you hun. Its the middle of the week for one thing so I doubt that it would be too busy by this time of night. Besides you know Hauk usually works upstairs just because its smaller crowds than downstairs.

She downed the rest of her drink, and looked over at Liada. "Yeah, you're right, she'll do what she wants. She's always been full steam ahead when it comes to doing things she wants to do."
She glanced over at IR's door and then back to Liada as she got up to make another drink. "I don't know....I mean, I don't want to be "that woman" that constantly hangs out while he's trying to work, ya know? confused "

Liada chuckled lightly as Kat looked nervously at the door. Well has he complained at all yet for how often you see him in the club? Not to mention he knew he was gonna be seeing a lot of us often when the club opened so you could just dance for a bit and then text him later that you missed him or something like that. Its not like either of you work in a strip club and have to watch each others backs constantly.

Liada's ears flopped to one side as she saw the logic in Kat's statement. xp Well, maybe there was a reason he told you that he was working in case he WANTED to see you tonight. As I recall the fact that he was on the clock didn't stop you two for being one step away from doing your own Coyote Ugly on the bar. rofl
