Noah shot Allure a grin as she mentioned another blue, clearly looking forward to the prospect of the idea of getting into another battle. He gave a thumbs up, though it briefly occurred to him that she might not be able to see it (this was his first time really being faced to face with the creature). "A'course sheila! Ain' nothin' gonna stop us! Don' mind gettin' in a blue with yeh!" And he was confident about that too! Though he did have to give a bit of a weary chuckle at the undead thing. She thought she could see the flicker of stray shadows, moving between buildings, vanishing down alleyways… This whole entire setup was just… very strange, though she couldn’t help but get the increasing feeling that they weren’t the only ones here… She listened intently as Vivace spoke about her past life, describing how she had been hatched on a mountain and had lived alongside her parents. Piper quirked a brow at the Togepi’s mention of how her parents used to belong to trainers, but at some point they had stopped doing so. ”Hmmm… Well, it’s p-probably more likely th-that they might’ve b-been released into the w-wild,” she suggested, figuring that since Vivace’s kind typically relied on forming a strong bond with humans to be able to evolve it had been unlikely that her parents had run away from their trainers. Unless… perhaps maybe something had changed at some point and had caused their relationships to take a turn for the worse…
Still, she kept listening, wincing a bit as Vivace described her old nest being destroyed by falling rocks and had forced her family to relocate to a forest. The little one was clearly rambling about, but the Noivern could more or less understand as she jumped from event to event in a fairly cohesive fashion. Piper nodded in understanding at the statement of the Togepi’s parents telling her that she had to find a trainer in order to evolve, and had gone exploring through many different places before being captured by whoever her current trainer was. ”R-Really? And you h-had never c-come across any cities or t-towns at all in y-your travels?” she inquired, wondering if perhaps the Togepi had tended to stick closer to more natural habitats when she had been wandering about, ”Still, I imagine y-you’ll end up m-meeting your trainer at s-some point in the future, I w-would certainly hope th-they’re nice.” Offering an encouraging smile, she dipped her head towards Vivace as she tittered brightly. ”I-I’m sure you’ll e-evolve to be b-big and strong s-someday, m-maybe if we ever m-meet again in r-real life you’ll have achieved th-that~” she suggested, wondering how the blue-shelled Togepi might look when she finally evolved.
