Jordan practically sprinted out to the field. He was excited for his game, and moreso to prove his skill. He practiced hard, so hopefully it'd come to light. He stepped aside to practice a few swings, then did some stretches. His parents had sent him a new broom, so he would finally get to try it out in a real game.

Simon walked onto the pitch, carrying the broom he'd borrowed from the school. He looked at the few other people standing around, then looked up at the stands, which were being packed with people. Somewhere up there were his dads and Reggie, possibly together. Maybe they'd meet up for a few minutes after the game, which hopefully they'd win. Si tugged at his new Hufflepuff earflap hat, which made him feel like a bee. He offered a tiny wave over to Captain Roland, then did a few small stretches.

Dwyn was excited but also nervous. He didnt expect to be called in game 1! He half jogged out with the extra energy of nervous excitement. He felt extra small. His shrunk down school broom didn't quite reach many waists and he swore his last name took up most of the back of his robes. No matter what he was ready! Time to prep with stretches!

Eden was very pleased to be on the starting team for Quidditch this year and really looking forward to playing in an actual game. Every movement counted today, and he was ready to prove to…. his team? the school? himself? That he could take that on. Heading onto the Pitch, Eden double checked his gear and looked over to the other team to see if there would be any weak links he might be able to take advantage of this game.

This was it. Weslyn knew from the first time she’d signed that paper that she might have to actually play. She'd rather be in the hospital wing taking care of Yukon, but Yukon needed her out here, playing because he couldn’t today. So...okay! Chaser it was. Weslyn stretched out in the quidditch room before heading out, shaking her limbs out to keep from trembling under nerves. Just be there to catch the quaffle, set up positions, and follow Holly and Simon's lead. Right. Don't hold them back!

Lucas had been in the midst of stretching when Eden had joined him. It was the younger kid’s first game since Oliver had graduated last year, so the game was bound to be interesting. It always was when the teams got changed up. From what Luke had seen, he was committed to the sport. The seventh year pondered for a moment before answering, “Hit ‘em where it hurts.” After a brief moment of silence, Lucas broke out into laughter. “Just kidding. But you might want to keep an eye out on the other beaters to help block bludgers from slamming into our own players, especially Angus. We need our seeker to win the game.” With that said, Lucas patted Eden’s shoulder. “And don’t worry too much. You’ll do great.”

Brook ran onto the field for her last first game of her school life. It was wild that she would be leaving hogwarts soon. She stretched and began to get ready for the game. Her main issue: her stomach was upset. Was nerves after so many years of playing a thing? Or had the stomach bug her brothers had related to some sort of food poisoning from something she had them try?

Lavinia was more or less prepared for the game ahead. Walking onto the pitch, she was sure that everything would play out. Needless to say she was ready to start the season off right. Though she was sure they could take Hufflepuff they weren't going to be pushovers. Doing a few stretches she waited for the game to begin.

Holly rushed out onto the pitch, hoping she didn't look like the lazy slacker of the team, especially since she was one of their chasers and this was only her second year playing to boot. Honestly? Their team was like... a baby team. A newb team. At least Ravenclaw usually had pretty iffy luck, so they might not get totally demolished. Downing some water, she started her stretches enthusiastically.

They'd done a lot of practice, so he was confident in the gameplay, but he was still nervous about playing in front of the crowd. Jade was thrilled that she made first string as Beater. She replaced her brother on the team and she was so excited to gloat to him about that. She knew it wouldn't hurt his feelings, especially since if they were closer in age, there was no way she would have replaced him. Jade was however a little intimidated playing as a Beater. During tryouts, she had had the unfortunate luck of getting hit not once, but twice by a bludger, and it bloody hurt. The first year really didn't want to have to make any additional visits to the Hospital Wing.
