The Indubitable Katie-Kat So according to my mum I've "gone native"--that is, after twelve years here I'm apparently an OFFICIAL Nebraskan, rather than a Southerner (where we lived before coming here) or a Brit (where we lived before NC/Virginia), just because I went outside in five or six inches on snow on top of ice on top of snow in slippers and a t-shirt to take out the trash. And apparently "going native" is a very, very bad thing if the place in question is Nebraska. Sigh. Yep. You're crazy. Even us Canadians don't do that and we're the land of snow..... xd

patch99329 ....how do you use a tea ball? You put herbs in it and toss it into your stock pot when you make soup. Or mulling spices and toss it into cider. You don't use it for tea. There isn't enough room for the leaves to expand properly.

So, is it just me, or has M&R been even more lame than usual recently? Good thing I've been playing ZOMG instead...

People from Northern Labrador will say suck it up princess. And I get to enjoy the snow lake effect, so you can equally suck it up. Parts of Canada don't even go below freezing all year long. Other parts have a problem going above it. And that's all continental Canada.

Never mind I had to go out a few times yesterday to clean the snow. Oh Celeblin, do you come from Windsor, or do you live elsewhere in not university time?

Rain that ******** CUTS YOUR FACE gonk Which then forms a nice crust on the foot of snow that just APPEARED out of NOWHERE in the space of FOURTY MINUTES. And I, unfortunate as it is, am born and raised here, Space. I had the fun of driving my flatmate's car to school on friday through several inches of continuously falling snow, with nasty whiteout and roads that appeared to not have been plowed at all. As it turns out, they had been plowed. Several times. There was plowing in progress on my way home even. And the roads still sucked. I was in class for 45 minutes. By the time I got out I couldn't recognize my flatmate's car anymore it was covered in so much snow and ice. I had to search through where I thought I parked while pressing the lock button on the key chain over and over to track it by sound. I'm so glad I brought the ice scraper to class with me, despite the weird looks I got. It's one of those long ones with a sweep on the end, so I looked like combination between college chick and chimney sweep. >.< Oh and all classes after one actually got canceled due to snow. Guess when my class was? 12 noon. *stabs lake effect*
