Hey girls. I just spent all morning ripping up wood tiles in my kitchen and moving furniture. I'm super exhausted, but it's really empowering. "Why yes, I can move that insanity heavy grandfather clock, all by myself."

Take that sexists.

I'm mostly joking, but it does feel good. I love doing things that my mom would normally ask my dad to do. His work made him move out of state, and ever since I've tried very hard to prove that we are fully capable of doing all the grunt work ourselves. It seems to be working, so far I've got my sister hammering in nails, and my mom picking up the couch and installing the television. Frail? I think not.
