These are from this past week, we had a party.

I got compared to Mal from Firefly 8 times at the last party I wore them to. As I was drunk and therefore without my glasses, and drawling a bit as well, it seemed to fit.

Well, the Celtic knot-looking thing is a symbol of spiritual strength - at least, that's what the card said. sweatdrop I like it, because I associate it with the four... physical elements, I guess, for lack of a better term, and the way it interlaces in the middle... it just seems like a good energy focus, to me, and I've used it as such, before.

The stone you can see at the other edge of it is part of a sweet little silver pendant, with a small diamond set on one leg, sort of rising up in an inverted tear-shape, coming down to a nicely-cut piece of moldavite. I have a black and white detail of it somewhere in my album... I'll fish it out, for closer inspection.

Both the knot amulet and the pendant were gifts from my lovely fiancee. 4laugh heart

This is a detail from a very nice picture that my fiancee took on the same day, of my necklace and his overlapped on a wind-weathered and salt-parched tree branch. You can see the silver/diamond/moldavite pendant more clearly in this one. His amulet is a different kind, but from the same maker, and the symbol is called an Earth Harmony, to the best of our knowledge. The blue stone on his necklace is kyanite - he is a talented actor and a very gifted singer, so that's a good thing to have around, being aligned with the throat chakra.
