Obviously, the newstation had nothing else to report on that day and they weren't making much money.
So they decided to target the 'emo' kids and do this stupid video on them. They show the kids being depressed, suicidal and stuff; throw insults at them and never really help. They don't bother to think from the kid's point of view. it's really too much.
They should just shut their bloody mouths and reach out.
You know it'll all happen one day.
Every bad thing you have done will come back

How DARE you say that about emo! that so so wrong, that's so fake! and my chemical romance as emo??? you dont even listen to them or know them enough to say they're emo! they themselves even say so and they say they WANT them to live! and dont say they dont! that so efin messed up! it makes me laugh at what you guys are saying about emo? you dont know emo! i hope you relize this pissed off alot of people, including myself. gosh, and its just music we like? like peoples dumb disco, cmon, who even likes them anyway? and to inform parents? no offence if this thing sounds rude, but parents can inform themsleves. its what they do. my chemical romance is the best band ever, and some of the other bands are great too! and to say that about them. its like youre saying theyre animals and you can talk about them that way. its wrong, sick, disgusting, and messed up. everyone is talking about this dumb retarted thing, and you guys are throwing around fake information. i saw this topic on another news site. and said they cant love. wat the freak? they CAN love. they HAVE feelings! this topic should NEVER be brought up ever again! and if youre going to continue thinking that. fine. but dont throw around wat you think to other people. giving them the wrong idea. thats sick. im never watching your dumb news cast ever! and to think i ever watched you guys before when i was so freaking bored! ok, thats hella lame. It's horrific. i hate how they say "disturbing" right as they show an MCR clip. And who's depression is "fuled" by music like that. Like, i really want to know who thinks that besides stupid news reporers, parents, and loser kids who think that it makes them cool. Because all the "scene" or "emo" kids I know are nothing like this stupid cliché that people show on tv. The more I watched this the more i wanted to beat these stupid a** repoters.

all of that is just BS. This really IS disgusting!
That's just another way of them putting young people down, and giving parents yet another way to control their child's every single little move.
They should let you be yourself, weather "emo" or otherwise, and I can't believe GROWN ADULTS are using those immature, ignorant labels! And they don't even know what they are talking about!

WTF!!!!! WHO EVER WROTE THAT NEWS BRODCAST SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know kids who aren't emo anc cut themselves, and these people are people ud never SUSPECT!!! That is so stupid!
ok here goes my rant (you know it would be coming..)
1- MCR is NOT emo. I really see no reason WHY they should be considered emo. Seriously. Their music (for the most part excluding Ghost of Me and Cancer) really does get me in a really upbeat/happyish mood!!!
2- Now just because someone has an "emo haircut" or wears "emo clothes" or has piercings or listens to "emo music" does NOT *repests* DOES NOT mean they go home and cut themselves. I have an emo haircut. I am not "emo." I have several piercings and sometimes I wear tight jeans.. I am NOT "emo."
3- Just because someone LOOKS "emo" does NOT mean they cut themselves. Ok. So I used to cut myself.. um. a lot. I had a hard time in my life and I felt empty inside. I never wore "emo clothing" back then. I seriously was a "normal" looking girl who wasn't completely antisocial. And jsut to let the world know... wrists aren't the only place people cut themselves. A good but of the time, people who cut don't want other people to know (at least those people I know). I hid mine. No one ever knew.
Seriously. Don't be so f***ing stupid.
4- And music DOES NOT DOES NOT DOES NOT DOES EFFING NOT make people cut themselves. So one of my best friends went through a really crappy time in life and was seriously on the very edge of killing herself. She told me something made her turn on her cd player which had Evanescence's Fallen cd in (apparently, Evanescence has been considered emo and gothic... whatever..) and she listened to Tourniquet, which is a song that is about suicide and the such. She ended up not killing herself because of that. I guess she felt like she wasn't alone. She told me this a few weeks after this happened. I seriously love Amy Lee because of that. Saved my friend's life. Ok.
Seriously.
Let's get real, people.
