I'd have to say Elfen Lied and Gantz. I like Elfen Lied it had a point to it, but I saw 2 episodes of Gantz and took the DVD back to a video store.

I'd say Samuri X OVA of Rurouni Kenshin, and Hellsing, mostly Elfen lied.

Of the one's I've seen:
Akira - Tetsuo exploding peoples heads, limbs, etc.

Fist of the North Star - every fight is just over the top violence

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OAV - basically the same reason as Fist except there's a little less violence

Berserk - basically the same reason as Fist but x10

Ninja Scroll - yea over the top violence every fight once again

Elfen Lied - do I even have to say....the arms of doom D:

I'd have to say that Berserk is probably the most violent out of those XD Which is really scary considering its even more violent than Elfen Lied...I still love Berserk though <3

both series are even bloodier on the manga, and they are incredible good stories on manga.

The most gory I've seen would have to be... Battle Royale.. It freaks me out how violent it is. mrgreen

But isn't that a movie? And if we're talking MOVIES, Ichi the Killer was WAY gorier and violent than BR. XD

try to see gantz manga and berserk they kill people by the thousands lol
