The Season Finale (spoilers!):
SO, Zuko makes me want to kick things. Holy crap.
Seriously, this boy has more mood swings than a pregnant woman. First he starts out so sugar-sweet it scares the crap out of you. He's like "Isn't it a beautiful day today, Uncle? The sunshine! The opening of your tea shop! Let's make cookies <3" and suddenly they tear that out from underneath us and he reverts back to "I MUST CAPTURE THE AVATAR!"
Oh, and he betrays Iroh. That brings him to a whole new level of troubled teenager.
However, Toph made me giggle like, every time we see her. From her awesome metal bending, to her hilarious trip, to her random clinging to Sokka (I also feel the need to point out that instead of doing the Sokka thing and looking creeped out or confused or mentioning it at all, he instead smiles at her. Tenderly. With an emphasis on 'tenderly'), to her adorable trust for Uncle Iroh while Sokka and Aang are more like 'KILL THE FIREBENDER!'
Speaking of that scene, Sokka's entire reaction to the idea of saving Zuko is the greatest ever. I particularly loved:
Sokka: Aang, you go with Iroh to find Katara and the Angry Jerk -- ::looks at Iroh:: no offense.
Iroh: None taken.
And Aang's journey with Iroh? Only the cutest thing ever! Really, Zuko was the only reason I'm so pissed about these episodes. I don't even blame Azula because I expect it of her, but I was so hoping he would do the good guy thing. Guess not.

I think Zuko was trying to be all super chipper just as a trial run to see if you could imagine living that way. Like, 'okay, I'm happyhappyhappyhappy....um, this isn't working for me. Where's Azula?' Also, Long Feng is Azula's b***h. ....EVERYONE IS AZULA'S b***h. 3nodding

I hadn't really realized that comparison XD Even though the overly-content, smiling, tea-making Zuko creeped me out just a little, I can't believe that he teamed up with Azula! Azula! Well, they're going to have to have a different Iroh, aren't they? Didn't you hear? Mako, the VA for Iroh, passed away quite recently. I think there was a moment in some episode in his honor.
This also means that there will DEFINATELY not be anymore Samurai Jack, since he voiced Aku as well. (my favorite cartoon ever btw)

I love Avatar! Unfortunately I don't get to see it that often so I don't really know enough about each character to have a favorite pairing, but I think Sakka/Zuko would be neat or maybe Aang/Zuko if it's done right.
