*Laughs* ha ha! You got the cuboid one! We had to do right-angled triangles though, so I suppose they were just as bad... sweatdrop

Im trying to memorise trigonometric identities for maths.

sin^2x + cos^2x = 1

sinx = tanx

I may only be in Yr10 but in school, we're already trying to get most of the actual GCSEs ones done. We've got English tomorrow and on Monday, we did the mock for it (it was on much Ado About Nothing) and I got A so now, the teachers say I should get A*. Today, we had our science ones (external) I think that the Physics and Chemistry ones were just rotten! gonk Didn't like it.. how's everybody else?

Do you actually get to find out what your exam is about before you do it?

Cool. On Monday, we got our Shakespeare mocks and I looked at the paper thinking "This is NOT what we have studdied properly in class." But me being the boff that I am, I'd read the play throuh about 4 times and so I could answer it. I got A in that. 24/30 and that's my first ever school exam! In my opinion, not too bad. What have you tomorrow?

It is about a random assortment of the many poems and stories we studied, with no particular logic

Right now I am doing a peice of maths coursework.
An investigation on hidden faces in rows of cubes and cuboids.

You find when you get to AS-level maths that most of the things you were made to investigate can easily be proven in about three minutes with calculus or similar (whether a square will always have a larger area than a rectangle with the same perimeter, for example).

My maths exams were okay, not too hard but I dropped more marks than I wanted to. I always knew I was going to resit it, I just needed this confidence boost to know I hadn't completely pissed my education away in my non-attendance.

I got a sin and a cos wave muddled up when we had to draw one. It was only one mark though. And I forgot to order the data set when I was getting median, quartiles etc. But I realised and changed it. Its always the easy one you get wrong.
